Bad experience. In excruciating back pain. Nursing staff great but doctors failed miserably. I was there hours taking every test known to man. Nothing given for pain until I was ready to leave. And that was only gabapentin, only relieved pain about a half hour then I called trying to get prescription dosage increased but the only way to do that was to go back to emergency room. Pharmacy suggested acute care but they only prescribe ibuprofen. So I'm going to spend another exorbinate amount of money to b told to take aspirin. What's the use of going to a hospital in pain if can't get pain medication. Hopefully, wont ever have to go there again Bad experience. In excruciating back pain. I went to this ER because my doctor recommended it because of a certain treatment that I was taken and due to the fact that the previous day I had a heart attack due to a blood clot breaking up. This place was crazy crazy busy in the ER. I felt that the nursing staff was okay. I understand sum of them weren't all that compassionate and I believe it's because they were totally overworked. And I most definitely do believe that they care. The ER doctors they were just so busy. But believe me! they will take the time to talk to you. Now at 10:30 a.m. the ER doctors had already made a decision to admit me. no I wasn't the only one, there were a few other patients that were also admitted by the ER. 3:30 p.m. rolls around and I'm still sitting in the lobby of the ER waiting to be put into a bed. 5hrs! Well I got tired of it and left. now I'm sitting at home and we're going to hope I don't have another heart attack! The problem to me is not the ER Department! it's the admittance Department and discharge Department. that's where your problem lies with this Hospital. It's a shame, because I like to give the ER Department five stars! unfortunately the actions of the rest of the hospital is the result of my review ratings. Waiting 7 hrs in er for spine pain. Had to lay on floor and was told to get off floor.could not sit because I was in so much pain.no help what so ever.not even a place to lie down or any meds given.drs and staff not passionate or caring for patients. Will never return.

Last day here I want to shower CNA will mpt help me.Asked if I want to wait till some one in my family comes to help me??? Isn't that her job? I jave been up all morning and just found out who nurse is. Havent seen her all morning pulled the emergency bell for help in the restroom and surprise no one came. And im mow laying on a bare matress cause I refuse to lay on these sweaty sheets anymore. The first 2 days the staff was great but today has been the woest experience at any hospital ever 5th floor rm 566 that pod needs new staff. Came in for spine pain so bad i can barely move and being sick to the point i couldn't eat or drink, then proceed to take and let me sit for 2.5 hours with no pain meds, only giving me fluids and antibiotics . Then proceed to be rude to both me and my mother when we are upset its been so long and no one has even checked on me after 2 hours. All in all, bad care, bad hospital, bad/rude staff.
