Dr. Alka Kamo

The number that’s listed for this office belongs to a rude elderly lady who used to work for this doctor. She informed me of this when I asked if she was the receptionist because of her condescending tone & attitude. I don’t know if anyone reads these reviews but this is quite unprofessional and off putting to a potential new client.

Dr Kamo is one of the top internists with Baptist East Hospital. She is very caring and concerned. Will always make sure she can treat you and on top of it until you are well.

I had the fortunate experience of having Dr. Kamo treat me after I was admitted through the ER with a hypertensive crisis blood pressure. I had been in the ER 3 weeks prior for HBP 180/120. She is very thorough, knowledgeable and personable, She kept me apprised of everything that she was doing and what to expect. I was so impressed that I even asked to see her as a regular patient.. Sadly, she only sees patients in the hospital. I really trusted her and would definitely request her again

Dr. Kamo home took care of my father recently during an acute illness in the hospital at baptist east. She was very empathetic, professional, and spent a great deal of time with our family reviewing his prognosis and reasonable expectations. Her Kindness and concern was greatly appreciated during this process.
