In more than 20 years of dealing with chronic neck and shoulder pain, several bouts of physical therapy, and trying everything under the sun, nothing really helped. Dr. Ali was able to correctly diagnose me immediately (the first doctor to do so) and the treatments have given me a new lease on life. I have always had a great experience with the Dr. he takes his time and explains everything in detail. He has helped me get my life back. Dr. You is the best pain doctor. He listens attentively then explains what he recommends for treatment. He treated me for sciatica and took care of the pain.

My Mother, whom I have power of attorney for, had been seen by Dr. Ali for years. I've taken my Mother to several of her appointments there. The office was dirty, and Dr. Ali didn't truly care about my Mother's well being. I'm so glad she is going somewhere else now.

Dr. Ali cares about his patients. He takes the time to listen. He has been here with me every step of the way. I would highly recommend Dr. Ali. I have searched for years to a doctor who would get to the bottom of my pain. I am truly blessed to have a doctor like him.

Dr. Ali has been one of the greatest Drs. I've been to. He genuinely cares and is compassionate. All the girls in the office are very polite. No matter how bad I feel when I go in he always makes me smile. Thanks Dr. Ali. ????????????

Dr. Ali is an amazing doctor. He listens to you and talks about your issues. He doesn't just get you in and out super fast like other places do. I drive to the Carlisle office to have my injections done. I do my follow up appointments in the Chambersburg office. Its pretty cool he has 2 locations for the people that want to see him and they don't want to drive far. The only way you would need to drive far is if you would need a procedure done as he doesn't do them in the Chambersburg office. They always seem to get me in pretty fast for an appointment. I have been seeing Dr. Ali for about a year now. I recommend him to anybody that wants a good honest doctor that will listen to you and he will truly do his best to get your pain down as much as possible. Dr. Ali is an amazing doctor. I just love this place. The staff are all wonderful caring people. I could go all day about Dr. Ali but ill be brief and just say. Trustworthy, intelligent, compassionate, and truly cares about your health and wellness

Dr ali is great but those girls thst work for him are worthless

Dr. Ali Yousufuddin is a godsend. I initially came to Dr. Ali in such horrible condition that I could not walk or even bear to have a sock or shoe touch my foot. Unfortunately I had a nerve injury from a surgery that resulted in a serious nerve disorder. I began seeing him roughly 10 months ago and I am in such better condition than I was when I first came in. I can now run at least four miles a few times a week with little difficulty. Prior to seeing him I was put on a medication that barely helped me with my excruciating symptoms. His unique and aggressive treatment plan has restored my quality of life. Dr. Ali loves to help others and always goes above and beyond for his patients, especially if they are willing to put the work in by getting better and being healthy. As a side note, if anyone has a nerve condition/RSD in their foot I highly recommend Altra sneakers since they have a wide toe box. They are the only sneaker I can wear without causing pain. Had hip pain for four months Dr. Ali found what was causing pain. He gave an injection in lower back and in less than 24 hours I have relief able to walk without pain.

Unprofessional office! We have came several times and always end up waiting in the room 1 -2 hours before seeing him. So slow when there are barely any other patients in the office.

I've written a review for Dr. Ali's Carlisle location but thought I'd add my comments here as well. He does, indeed, have two locations. I conveniently live in Chambersburg so this location is only a couple miles from my house and located conveniently around many stores, restaurants, and other medical facilities and Pharmacies. Dr. Ali is Board Certified in Pain Management and Anesthesiology with years of experience working with Neuro Surgeons. His Carlisle office is where he does nerve block injections with an x-ray machine that guides him visually to the exact spot. However, I suspect he could do this blindfolded and after battling neck and back injuries, migraines, and pain for most of my life, he is truly a gift sent straight from God! First of all, it's not a huge practice with several doctors, nurses, and a huge front office area where no one knows your name and your appointments and billing get lost in the chaos. I feel like I'm having a conversation with a professional who is personable, professional, and he listens and hears me. It's like a partnership and both of our goals is to increase my quality of life with a conservative approach to medication. I've been to so many doctors over the years - I've felt minimized, misunderstood, frustrated, and invisible. I also thought more surgery was my only option. Not so! I don't want to be on mind altering medication, I don't want to have another surgery, I don't want more scar tissue that causes more referred pain and pinched nerves. I just need a little help. For now, this location is where I go for my follow-up appointments, or if I need a new prescription. The x-ray machine is only at the Carlisle location currently. I've had only one neck surgery but I've dealt with muscle spasms, compromised sleep, headaches, and nerve pain most of my life. My surgeon never saw me again after my stitches were removed. I doubt that I'm even a faint memory. What do you do 10, 20 or 30 years after surgeries or accidents? It's a lifetime of pain management, I personally receive injections in different areas of my cervical (between the C5-C6, the C6-C7, and the C7-T1). And about every three months I get a headache block at the base of my skull. I know it sounds awful - they offer stress balls for your hands and xanax, but seriously, I've never asked for either. It's just not that big of a deal compared to the pain I've dealt with for years. He's spot on, kind, never misses, and it just doesn't hurt that much. He numbs the skin first. I promise, if you don't know where to go next, you have hit brick walls, and you want a legitimate, conservative, controlled pain management plan, he's your guy! He'll be honest with you if you're not a candidate for his treatments. Most doctors ONLY want me to have surgery again. Not everyone is a candidate for surgery. My experience with Dr Ali has been a very good one. Although I came to my 1st app't in W/C and in a great deal of pain, after several injections in my lower back, I was able to return to my previous activities with out the previous pain. His first concern was to help me deal with pain until the injections could be scheduled. I have great confidence in his recommendations

Several years ago my pain management was not working effectively. my PCP referred me to Dr. Ali for his opinion. I decided to follow through with his advised treatment plan. I am impressed with Dr. Ali's knowledge, care & dedication. He & his staff work effectively together; especially in the treatment room area. I have experienced 95% improvement & continue to go forward to gain quality of life. This is due to the individualized & extensive care Dr. Ali has given. Highly Recommended!

I am a RN who has been in the healthcare field for over 25 years and I can tell you without a doubt that Dr. Ali Yousufuddin is one of the finest physicians that I have met. My daughter was diagnosed with a very concerning condition, and I was immediately impressed how he was able to put my husband, daughter and I at ease with his calm personality, knowledge of the condition, and a sound treatment plan. He takes the TIME to LISTEN and CARE. He has helped my daughter so much, we love Dr. Ali!

Only wants to put needles in you because he makes more money. Long waits.

If you don't mind waiting up to 2hrs past appt time he's an ok pain dr and of course your time isnt as valuable as his. The staff is nice until you need something from them ie records sent etc. Also after a nerve block injection I could not stand or walk and his solution was to have girl take me to parking lot in wheel chair and leave me to wait for ambulance. And make sure you hand deliver all scripts as the girls will lie and say they called in but didnt.

Long waits, doesn't care about getting your records sent or scripts called in on time. Better off going elsewhere
