Dr. Tabassian rocks! I have been going to the Retina Institute of Virginia since relocating here 5 years ago. Dr. Tabassian explains everything and his treatment is excellent. The staff and facility are professional and welcoming. I can compare Dr T’s service to others and he is the best there is. Their reputation is stellar. Dr T makes a very serious treatment extremely easy to tolerate. So glad Dr. Tabassian is my doctor. He is the best!

Hey great place to go to when you have to check on your eyes they make you feel comfortable the doctor I had was great he explained to me what was going on and would have to be done I was comfortable with him.

Such a nice place if you have to get your eyes tested. Staff is very friendly and Dr. Tabassian was very thorough with my issues and plan including diet, vitamins and keeping an "eye" on certain things. Highly recommend.

Dr Tabassian is very knowledgeable, professional and personable. He gives patient as much time as needed. You don't feel rushed like he wants to move on to next patient. He answers all questions in terms that you can understand. If he cannot answer the question he will find the answer and get back with you. I am very pleased with his service and I actually look forward to my visits with him

Staff and Dr Tabassian are always a pleasure to see.

This practice has no interest in helping their elderly patiences. My parent show up for an appointment and didn’t have his insurance card on hand due to not receiving a copy from the insurance company. The front desk staff had no interest in helping my father to call and obtain a copy of his insurance card. This call takes 15 minutes to complete. I also spoke to the manager of the practice that also had no interest in aiding in make a call and help. They will not see my father without a physical card. They are very rude and very rude professional. The staff including the office manager lack human decency and courtesy. For a practice that claims to be working for their patients health and well-being. Have not performed on that duty. My parents ended up leaving the office because they were so upset about the situation. I am a certified medical assistant and now a business owner. I am well-versed in both front end and back end of a practice as well as owning my own business. Also I am very disappointed to know that the medical field has not advanced in human decency courtesy and overall patients well-being. Dr Tabassian is the best! Being a diabetic need to keep special care of my eyes and he is my specialist doctor. Has a great personality and a good sense of humor. The dude is crazy smart it explains everything very well. Had my right eye laser guy him a few years ago and just did my left eye today. Top-notch highly recommend. Prompt, skilled, professional, and personal attention to my retinal emergency

Dr. Tabassian is very knowledgeable about eye problems and provides excellent care to my mother who has been coming to him for years now! His bedside manner is really one of the best I've ever seen. He has a lot of older patients and he is very patient and kind. He takes whatever time is necessary to help you feel comfortable with his treatments and explains your health information in a manner that is not rushed and is very understandable.
