Dr. Nemat took care of my father at LB Memorial Care for one month. He was our knight in shining armour! He accepted my 91 year old father into Accute Rehab a week after cervical surgery on C2,3,4 & 5, during COVID and had his team work with my Dad daily for two weeks until we were ready to go home. He would give me all the updates and although short on time, he was kind and I knew he was thorough. My Dad loved him. He totally took care of us and prepared by Dad to be self-sufficient at home.

My mother had Dr Nemat while in rehab. She was not recovering as fast as expected. Dr. spoke with my family about the need to maintain successful patients to achieve a statistical high level of success. He asked that we move to another facility. He was “cooking” his high numbers. The day before my mother was moved, Dr Nemat checked on her. When I went to ask a question he became angry. He told me he was too busy and had to see many patients on a list he was waiving. I feel he was just making the visit so he bill medicare. The patient’s status was unimportant to him.

My mother was in Long Beach Memorial Hospital Rehab. Dr. Nemat was very anxious for us to leave because Mom had not made sufficient progress from their Program. He said it adversely affected the Rehab Dept. success averages that the Department was judged on. On our last day, before transferring to another Rehab Facility, Dr. Nemat checked on my mother. When I asked a question he became agitated and told me he did not have tine to give me an answer. He waived a list of what he called patients he had to see saying he was too busy.

Dr. Nemat has been heading a team of specialists during my father’s post open heart surgery rehabilitation. We feel his expertise and kind manner have greatly contributed to my Dad’s recovery.

I have severe back issues and was referred to him by my pcp. He not only kept me on the same dosage of meds for 2 years no matter how much I said it wasn't working, but he also told me I'm inoperable and 'DOOMED' to feel this way the rest of my life! Needless to say, I found a different doctor..but also found out I was operable, and had surgery, I an now recovering. The only good thing about that place is the front desk staff. She was a doll, but he was a HORRIBLE doctor
