Update: after months of no answers, walking into their office WITH my referral to be told the person who works them isnt there, they wouldnt take my paper to put on file, and my pain management office trying to also contact them, we give up. Going to try speak with Tricare to have this office removed in favor of one that actually treats people like people. Utmost unprofessionalism. Absolutely impossible to get a hold of. Have a referral for a second opinion for multiple disc replacements and they won't answer the phone, return text messages, or respond to their website appointment inquiry as they state they will. Have been trying to get through for weeks now and have received nothing but automated text messages telling me to go to the website which leads to nothing. Having moved around and gone to many doctors over the years as a military family, this is the first time we have ever had the runaround like this from an office before. Absolutely ridiculous.

Explained everything in detail, so that I could understand what was going on.

Dr. Mesiwala is always top notch. I appreciate how quickly he responded to my needs.

Treated professionally. Process explained thoroughly, as was printed instructions and directions. Pre-Op and Post-Op personnel were considerate and thorough.

He assessed my spinal issue immediately. And the recommendation to fix my spinal compression. I am exited to get my surgery.

Dr Mesiwala is incredibly personable and he and his office staff are very prompt and responsive with any scheduling or questions. Very Professional!

Terry dr Mesiwala assistant is super friendly and helpful, she makes sure I get what I need every time in the office. She is courteous, and very professional. For my preliminary visit, I saw Dr Rueda, he was on time and did a through examination. The office staff was excellent, making sure I received the xray & MRI prescriptions.

Dr did surgery on my daughters back I was very pleased with his work he did beautiful stitches, very clean . He respected my issue regarding blood. I really respect this Dr. Ali H Mesiwala. ????

Dr.Mesiwala provided me with a L5S1 disc replacement. I am impressed with the results from the surgery. I am back to the active lifestyle I am acostom to. I am back to golfing and off roading.. I would recommend Dr. Mesawala very highly.

Dr. Mesiwala is a brilliant physician. I am a survivor and have been in his care for over 8+ years. If there was one thing I'd say they could work on it would be the appointment setting/admin things. That's not on the dr though. He's great and I'd definitely recommend him!

I did my research prior to my surgery, I came across some horrible reviews and past lawsuits… I prayed about the surgery and found myself afraid, but Dr. Mesiewala had the best training and was the most thorough. I appreciated him explaining everything. He removed over 15 years of arthritis build up which prohibited me from enjoying the cold weather and functioning without pain. The staff was amazing and made the whole process easy and comforting. After the procedure (Discectomy) I felt immediate relief and would recommend it and Dr. Mesiwala to all friends and family.

my experience with dr meiiwala was awsome before my surgery i was in alot of pain i was on crutches due to a cyst on my vertabre and constantly in alot of pain when i had my surgery done it was un believable there was no more pain no more crutches and i was up walking the next day thank you dr wesiwala you did an awsome job!!! and thank you to the staff members they were great and very kind they made me comfortable

I had major back surgery over 2 yrs ago by Dr. Mesiwala with rod & pin of 5 disc in lower back. The pain is just as bad as before surgery and in some cases worse. I wish I never had it done. He made me feel that if something wasn't done I'd end up a cripple. I feel like a cripple now. Get a 2nd & 3rd opinion!

I was so happy and relieved to know there are options for me shall I return back to the United States one day. He reviewed my MRI and told me what my options are. Dr. Mesiwala was so worth the hour and 20 minutes to see him . He's very relaxed & very confident , humble ,kind& compassionate. I'm usually very anxious about any surgery and I can't wait to have my discs replaced . A friend of mine coincidentally had the same exact surgery and is 100% better & loves Dr. Mesiwala. Dr. Mesiwala did my surgery recently oct 13 and surgery went well. Dr. Mesiwala is caring, knowledgeable, very confident on what his doing. Before surgery I had left side weakness and as soon as surgery was done my weakness went away. I am so happy and relieved. Highly recommend to others. Worst follow up ever, only cares about getting approval for surgery not patient well being. I received full fusion for scoliosis in nov17 and they refused to see me after surgery, I've had to live with this surgery with no help from this office. But like I said, only care is getting approval for surgery.

Dr. Mesiwala and PA Michelle Lancaster were very cordial and explained the surgery procedure expertly. I had chronic acute sciatica caused by a fractured vertebrae. After more than 2 months of insurance company protocol, I was finally able to have surgery scheduled with Dr. Mesiwala. In one hour of surgery, he eliminated the pain entirely. I am so thankful to Dr. M for his skill and expertise; and so thankful to PA Michelle for the excellent way she mentally prepared me for the surgery. The other nurses in the operating center were very kind and courteous, as well. I would highly recommend Dr. M and his staff. So thankful for their help.

Staff is very courteous, I have had multiple contact with Dr.'s surgerical scheduling staff (Donnie) and Dr.'s PA (Michelle). Both responded to my many calls during my pre surgery including explanations and Med renewals. I have been in debilitating neck, shoulder and arm pain for many years. Finally Finding severe arthritis in my neck along with disc deteriation and nerve compression. Now that the problem has been identified, I look forward to Dr. Mesiwala's surgical skills to help my problem.

After YEARS OF SEVERE SI JOINT PAIN, DR MESIWALI PLACED A NEUROSTIMULATOR TO INTERCEPT THE PAIN SIGNALS. Although , it has been about a year playing with the settings....I am finally pain free of bi lateral SI joint pain. Am now seeking his services to eliminate my lower lumber disintegraded disks, with artificial disk replacements. After that, then comes replacing my disintegraded cervicle disk. Wonderful Surgeon, no one else will I ever trust with such delicate procedures.

Fabulous surgeon! You must ask him to slow down when he’s talking to you. Glad he has an assistant to take notes during patient consult now! Took one whole week to move a request for authorization for CT scan out of his San B. Office, then less than 24 hrs. to get insurance approved and appt scheduled. Hmmm... what’s the problem with that? Otherwise, caring considerate staff, relatively easy to get appt. He is brilliant, innovative, a pioneer in techniques to improve neuro/spine health.

Dr Mesiwala is a very good Dr but his staff is going to ruin his business and reputation. I called to have my files moved to Rancho Cucmonga and have the Dr extend my handicap placard. The girls in the Rancho office said we will have the Dr call you back, we are now on the 3rd week and nobody has called me. The PA at the SB office said they don’t give longer than 3 months on a handicap placards. So I had spinal fusion and a lapanectamy and have to suck it up and walk. Never saw Dr since surger.

This review for my wife Pam. She has been a patient of Dr. Mesiwala for several years. She has severe nerve damage in her lower spine. Without Dr. Mesiwala, she would not be able to walk or sit or stand. Her nerve damage has controlled her life. Thanks to Dr. Mesiwala, she has been able to resume most of her daily activities. He has performed at least 4 or 5 surgeries to correct her spine. He has always been there for her every step of the way. He is attentive and she has always been very happy with this great surgeon I understand the frustration others have commented on regarding the appointment time etc. There have been in the past, instances when the lag time in for an appointment has been a problem. However this problem is being addressed, as well as Dr. Mesiwala has extended his appointment hours to correct this issue... Dr.Mesiwala performed my back surgery in January 2018. Before that day I could not walk without pain and numbness in both legs after a few steps and had very painful sciatica. After surgery I went home the same day after the procedure and a CoFLex implant. I am now able to walk and no pain or numbness,every now and then I only get a little stiffness . I write this to commend him and his staff for their prompt service and courtesy.They were very supportive. Pain I lived in before meeting this Doctor was unreal! Now I sleep...stand...walk...sit...run...and live because this "genius man" knows how to "heal the bones." He's invented restorative apparatus to correct issues that couldn't be resolved previously. He's a genius alright! Straight up-straight out brilliant!!! And, he's a kind hearted soul. One...not two sides...many hours in operation...healing now, years later...(if I keep the weight off...don't lift anything heavish)...I'm so healed I can help others. He restored my life. As a surgical nurse I had a first hand view of Dr. Mesiwala ‘ s work in spine surgery. There was no question he was my surgeon of choice. I was having sciatic pain and then numbness started in my legs. His office staff worked with me very courteously and returned calls when they said they would. My surgery was done in the early morning and I was home by noon. A month after the surgery and implant,I no longer have any sciatic pain, my balance is back and I am pain free.

For years, my pain mgmt. Dr. always said if he needed surgery, Mesiwala was his guy. When i needed surgery, i got lucky and he took me on as a patient. He is honest, enthusiastic, and somehow made me feel safe on the gurney on my way into the OR.(I freak out about surgery) Medical care in the US has changed in the last 10 years, and not for the better, but Dr. Mesiwala is one of the few remaining that I think really truly cares about his patients vs his bottom line.

I am very satisfied & grateful for the excellent service & surgeries he performed on me. Even his staff & assistant are awesome. I wouldn't go to any other neurologist/surgeon.

On April 10 2015 Dr. Mesiwala performed my disk replacement surgery, inserting the ProDisc L. I was stunned when Dr. Mesiwala told me that I would be able to ride again in about 30 days, and that I would feel immediate relief from my back pain immediately after the surgery. Well, I am a believer. I left the surgery center a couple of hours after the surgery, and after the pain medication wore out, only felt pain at the surgery site, not my back. 2 days after surgery I was able to feed and care for my horses (moving slowly, being careful not to bend), and 30 days after surgery I was back in the saddle. Horseback riding and training is my life, and thanks to Dr. Mesiwala, I am still living that dream 19 months post surgery. Had cranectomy done in April and 2016 , great Dr luv honesty and confidence in himself, only thing I didnt like is how long it took for my paperwork to be taken care of . It might be because I am a iehp member but thats ok. Everything is mch better now even lost some weight since I am able to exercise and get going without feeling dizzy. Oh my goodness... Dr Mesiwala is "Fabulous"..... I was having "Migraines" since I was 10 yrs old... I am now 60.... The last 5 years they have been every day and pain, oh my.....This doctor put the stimulator in my back to at least help with the pain..... I am so very comfortable with him... Was scared to death, but the way he shows he really cares, helped me so very much.... I highly recommend this doctor to anyone....HE IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so very much!!!

My experience with Doctor Mesiwall was amazing, today is two months after my L3-L5 fusion, my surgery went well. Now I can get up in the morning withoutv pain, walking 35 minutes without stoping or sitting. Overall I got my life back.He is a caring doctor and I would recommend him to everyone I know.
