I will say from the moment I stepped in, the kindness I felt was overwhelming, the staff went above and beyond making sure I felt as comfortable as possible. They reminded me of what doctors, and offices should be. Or shall I say say once-were. A doctor who has such a huge heart, and his wife superwoman and staff- its a rare thing to come by these days. Where each and every patient matters.

Dr Kerpe diagnosed me with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which is an awful genetic incurable and progressive disease. He is one of the ***extremely rare*** and ONLY EDS physicians outside of the ONE hospital in Chicago. I was absolutely shocked that Dr Kerpe actually knew that I had it just by reading my medical history which was even BEFORE meeting me. I am so thankful for his kindness and knowledge. When I got home, I cried tears of joy that I actually had an answer as to why I was so ill for so long. Unfortunately, due to him being (understandably) inundated with EDS patients, he is unable to take on anymore. However, he is willing to assist your PCP with EDS related care & advice. He perhaps can diagnose (without taking you on as a pt.(as he did with me)) but I cannot confirm this. He use to be so friendly and care about his patience and treated them like family and always tried to help now NOPE his face is in the computer and his mind is on MONEY when he says he doesn't get much money from you because of our insurance when we cancel that so unnecessary and unprofessional he never really listens to what you have to say and if you have weight on everything is because of that he is totally crap he needs to get out of this profession because he's doing no one any good im terrified what he tells other people PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE you have been I want if you want somebody loving and that really cares for you look elsewhere

I am so thankful for dr kerpe and his full staff, they are so extremely accommodating, very friendly, amazing people, if you’re looking for a doctor he’s the one.

Dr Kerpe is a great doctor. He’s a down to earth guy and takes as much time as necessary to address my concerns and explain treatment options.

I've been a patient of Dr Kerpe for about 15 years now. He continues to provide exemplary care with a personal touch not found much these days.

Great personal involvement. Dr. Kerpe will spend as much time as you need to answer your health questions and offer alternative medicine choices if you prefer. I have been going to Dr. Kerpe for over 20 years and I have even driven back from other States to maintain him as my primary care physician.

The staff is always very pleasant and more importantly very compassionate and kind. Dr. Kerpe and the nurse practitioners are extremely competent, are excellent listeners and are brilliant at providing detailed explanations for suggestions and for results and for future therapeutic plans. Dr Kerpe literally saves my life after I had been released from the hospital (not Northwestern) with a DVT after serious errors were made in surgery. I called Dr Kerpe when I got home And described my symptoms he told me to get to CDH immediately and called the proper doctor to have him waiting for me. De Kerpe recognized from a call what two doctors did not see in front of them. I had surgery at CDH and owe so much to Dr Kerpe. He knows how to save lives and that is what is important!

He over charges his visits and does not do a good exam. He spends his time on the computer instead of doing the exam. He has a new medical assistant who drew my blood and bruised me so bad and hurt me. I don’t think she is experienced at all. For a complete physical, I think it should have been more than a 10 minute exam.

Best doctor i ever seen

Dr. Kerpe is hands down the best doctor a patient could hope to ever have. He cares and listens and takes his time with each patient. He is on top of his game and knows how to manage your care. After moving to Colorado and trying to find a doctor after him has enlightened me further on just how unique and talented he is. To have him as your doctor is a true gift. He is one of the finest doctors I have ever had.

Have tried for years to help my aging parents. Three of us siblings with our hands tied and despite our best efforts we cannot get support from this physician. I do not believe he is the right doctor for seniors, particularly with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease. We are trying desperately to advocate for my parents. He sees them for a short visit a couple of times a year and thinks they are fine. We see them daily and they are not fine. 80 year old mother with dementia is DRIVING!

Always cared for as if I was family.

A wonderful physician who is concerned about patient care and communication. A refreshing change to the current corporate model.

Dr. Kerpy is great and is still my doctor for 6 years. I like best his sensitivity to patient needs and what we can afford. He recommends lower cost traditional medications. I never see a line of pharmacy sales agents. He has tried new meds on me, so I know he stays informed. Email is on record but not something patients can actually use. I have had to recite the last 18 mos history and correct entries often. He doesn't recall histories and often does not sleep enough/at all due to his rounds.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kerpe for over 10 years. I have never found a physician who is so willing to take the time to listen to my concerns. It is clear that he genuinely cares about the well being of his patients. His clinical staff is excellent as is the office staff. I can’t imagine going to another doctor.

Dr Kerpe is amazing! After bouncing around for years trying to find a dr I like, I was very happy to find him. He really looks at the patient as a whole and is very thorough. He doesn't rush you and really listens. The office staff is very friendly and his nurse is also incredible! They work very well together.
