Dr. Alfred Earl Mcnair JR.

Dr McNair is extremely knowledgeable in his profession and has an excellent bedside manner. He explains what he is doing in terms that I can understand. Him and his staff is always professional!!!

He has been my doctor since early eighties, and it’s 2023 now and I still have him as my doctor. Three times he has literally saved my life from Crohn’s complications. I Highly recommend him.

Dr. Mcnair in my opinion is a wonderful, competent doctor. He shows the individual respect and allows them to participate in decisions concerning their own health and accepts deviations from the "norm" without pressure or ridicule to conform.

Waited over 2 hrs to see him and didn't get 5 minutes with him he had a conference call he had to take , Dr was not concerned at all !! Cancer patient

I have been a Patient of Dr. McNair for 25 years. He knows me inside & out-lol. He has treated me with respect, dignity, and a willingness to go the extra mile for my health. Angela & Melissa, two of his staff members are extremely on top of following up with me to ensure I’m following the plan. They always return phone calls the same day. I truly am great-full for Dr McNair & his team. Front office staff are also very professional and nice to deal with.

When I need care I can depend on the whole staff to be caring, efficient and respectful. I would recommend this group of doctors, nurses and give them the highest rating.

Dr Mcnair has been my doctor since I was 27 years old, I’m now 66???? He’s been used by God to save my life numerous times . His wife also was one of my favorite nurses when she worked at o s hospital back in the day???? I can’t say enough wonderful things about them both. I just pray I never loose them . I have had excellent care,and the whole staff makes you feel comfortable and loved,willing to answer all your questions and concerns.I have been going to Dr MCNAIR for about 16yrs, during that period was also cared for by The One And Only Dr. DILLON,WHO ALSO assisted in my progress with a at the time HepC and we had exhausted all medications for treatment. I waited patiently, for 10yrs while my Doctors built me up Spiritually stronger than I was before joining this God picked Group of Men and Women with one focus doing the best they could at the Time with the god inspired gifts that they had received from day one, at the beginning of their lives. I say this because I have seen with my own eyes humility at work at it's best threw these men. Thank you Dr. MCNAIR,DR. DILLON,DR. Honestly the most generous, sincere, compasionacom & unselfish Dr I've known in all my years (&they are many) He listens intently & is dedicated to finding the problem, otherwise refers to another who can. I trust him completely & yes he sees many... This review is about HIM, Dr McNair... Personally, I wait for my appts with him, CHOOSING to knowing if it was an emergency he will find a way to help me (which HAS happened). Wonderful Doctor who actually gets to know his patients and treats them well !!

This doctor was the reason my father chose to have his gastrointestinal operation in Ocean Springs. My father had to have an emergency operation in Ocean Springs Hospital. He NEVER showed up for a visit to see my father during or after his procedure. He spend 5 days in the hospital for a gastrointestinal surgery and this doctor NEVER saw him. This is the 2nd worst clinic I've ever had to deal after coastal family. His nurse Rachael who I left several messages to please call me had the worst attitude on the phone the 2 times I did talk to her and afterwards she never returned my call and because of that , nothing got resolved with my doctor who sent in the referral and the insurance company. Therefore my procedure that was supposed to happen on December 5th never happened. The nurses at this clinic have got to be the worst at handling things . Whenever you ask them a question they say that's not their job or they can't help Or better yet they tell you that contact your other doctor it's there a problem,,,,only to find out that She's just being lazy and doesn't want to do her job. So basically the nurse's will keeps giving you the run around at this clinic. Thanks a lot Rachel for causing me to miss my procedure back in December. Also thanks for never contacting me back to reschedule any kind of an appointment or set up a new procedure you're such a awesome employee....NOT. I have been seeing these doctors for 22 .Yrs. I started with Dr McKee with help c and severe stomach problems. I went through the 2nd type of treatments for hep c. I nearly died.I continued to see him, and he started telling me very stupid things. I asked him what drugs was He on? I walked out still very sick and then I switched to Dr Loenburg. He took excellent care of both me and my daughter. We also seen Dr. Dillon he also treated us extremely well. We have also seen Dr. Mcnair. He also has treated us with love and care. I had to have a gastro pace maker put in.the pain and nausea was and now still is, is critical. I have to take so much stomach meds and have to take something just to be able to use the bathroom. I have gastroparis and it is now attracting my pancreas. Dr McKee took me off of my pain meds and muscle relaxers. He bold face lied to me. My daughter had to have a feeding tube put in and had to cut her poleri. Cut out. She suffers from the same things I have.she has been deathly I'll for 3 weeks. She has lost close to 20 pass. She can't keep anything down.she is weighing less than 90 dps right now. I brought her to merit health and the emergency room Dr. Wanted to admit her, but Dr. Turnkey said no. I tried to call him to give him her history. He wouldn't even talk to me.that's absolutely in executable.I'm y daughter is dyind and he is the doctor on call.. I can't get someone to help me take care of my child. Some of these so called Dr's should have there license pulled for not taking good quality care of there patients. Ive seen Dr. McNair and he is a great doctor ! However, it's ridiculous that it takes months to get an appt and when you do, you wait for hours. i do trust his care but the wait is not worth it. No need for a doctor to feel the need to see that many patients in a day. One can not provide QUALITY healthcare to that many patients in a day. Just the opinion of a nurse Ive seen Dr. McNair and he is a great doctor ! Dr McNair is a caring and invested Dr. He has been treating me in excess of twenty years. He is an excellent diagnostician. There are times I have had to wait for him but that is usually because an emergency or complication.

Dr. McNair is a really good doctor. He is compassionate, knowledgeable, and has a nice bedside manner. I would recommend Dr. McNair to family and friends.

Overbooking. We arrived at 8:30 PM for my mother's colonoscopy and we still here at 1:50 PM. This is totally unacceptable.

Dr. McNair was an outstanding doctor. I have never been to a medical office where they were so attentive to my every care and need. As everyone must understand the procedures that Dr. McNair gives are rather delicate and he is willing to take the time to work with you and figure out the problem. McNair kept my husband waiting for a procedure for over 4 hours!!! McNair was not even at O.S. Hospital--he was at a different facility. He KNEW he was overbooked, didn't care at all about how much he was inconveniencing patients or families. I am so angry at this point, I could spit nails. If you want to be treated with courtesy and consideration, take your business to some other doctor. This doctor thinks his time is the only valuable time on this planet--yours simply doesn't count.

Had never seen nor met the man before my first appointment. Saw him after my friend from work (medical profession) recommended him. Pleasantly surprised with first, his nurse, then him. Not at all rushed. Took time for thorough exam and Q&A. VERY much liked getting results from scopes, before leaving surgical center. Report was typed and included multiple color pictures of colon, etc. taken internally during colonoscopy and endoscopy. Will continue my Crohns follow up here, not Gulfport.

Dr. Mcnair has been my doctor for several years now and I can't imagine going to anyone else. His knowledge and general concern for his patients is outstanding and I always feel I am in good hands.
