This Dr is amazing - he is kind and compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. His staff is amazing and they are so accommodating. Took my 84 yr old MIL here and they were wonderful with her.can’t say enough about this Dr and his staff! Would give 10 stars is I could!

I had surgery with Dr Guirguis Jan 2013, I can only say the compassion, expertise, and care I received were more than I could have possibly imagined! Dr G went so far as calling me at home the night after I was discharged to make sure all was well, and it was. He went above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced with any other physician. Reviving my diagnosis were words I never thought I would hear (I lived a healthy lifestyle, I exercised ddaily) I’m not a reviewer but I do know and feel in my heart that Dr Guirguis was the right physician for me, and I only have nothing but gratitude and thankfulness for his expertise, care and follow up!

I was introduced to Dr. Guirguis via a referral from my gynecologist. She said he was an amazing surgeon and person. She had also been his patient so I felt especially confident about consulting with him. From my initial meeting with Dr. Guirguis until my surgery in May of 2021 and subsequent follow-up, I found him to be compassionate, competent, and relatable. He answered all of my questions and I truly sensed that I was in good hands. Just before I was headed into surgery he assured me that he would be operating on me as if I were a member of his family. 2 months post op and couldn’t feel better and happier I was referred to Dr.G. He and his staff are so kind and caring and made you feel like a family. Thank you so much for everything you did for me.

It has been an up and down 6 weeks. Dr Guirguis was very professional, answered all my questions and made feel very comfortable. Thank you and I am so glad I was referred to you by my FP and Gynecologic physicians. Definitely recommend him!!

Dr Gurguis is not the type of doctor who will walk in , tell you what you have and how to treat it, then walk out before you can utter a word. I am 65yo & my ordeal started a year ago, a long road to ending up in Dr. Guirguis' office. After numerous CT scans, ultrasounds, MRIs & a D&C requested by my MD Mike Lynch, along with my Gyny Lori Leipold they sent me to Dr. G. After an hour of him explaining to me that I had 2 spots on my left ovary, 3 on my right ovary, a small mass in my uterus & a hot dog size thing on my one fallopian tube, I needed a complete hysterectomy. Dr. G reassured me that he was 95% confident it would all be non-C. He did my surgery on 09/10/20, told me NO C and I went home the same day. My surgery was done robotically, which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. By day 3 post-op I was really feeling pretty good, moving & getting around. By day 7 no pain at all. In fact, I never needed to fill the narco, nor the motrin that I was given prescriptions for. I had five small incisions which appeared "glued shut," along with what appeared to be a piece of "plastic tape" over each for protection. My last scab fell off at three weeks and the incisions are healing incredibly nice. Dr. Guirguis has the best bedside manners, he's kind, knowledgeable but most importantly he is highly skilled. May you never require his services, but if you do....I TRULY RECOMMEND DR. GUIRGUIS. You'll feel calmness and you'll feel safe in his hands. Thanks Dr. G to you and your wonderful staff. I appreciate all your comfort and great way of expalining everything and taking your time with me during one of the most difficult times of my life. As a healthcare provider I am very cognizant of how other providers administer care . I would highly recommend Dr Guirguis to any family member or friend in need. He is a great surgeon and explains things very well . He is very knowledgeable and has excellent bedside manner .I felt very safe and comfortable under his care at all times- I typically get very anxious when seeing doctors and dentists so that is saying a lot. Dr. Guirguis is by far one of the BEST doctors I ever came across. No Doctor has ever made me feel comfortable like he did. I had a 17cm cyst on my ovary. The cyst along with my ovary and Fallopian tube had to be removed. He made sure he told me everything step by step on what he was doing, the recovery process and aftercare. Dr. Guirguis is a great doctor. He makes you feel comfortable and informed. He's gentle and easy to talk to. I'm glad I was referred to him by my gynecologist. He did a surgical procedure and everything went very well. I'll be returning to him whenever I need to!

I do not have enough kind words to say about Dr. Guirguis.  I had saw some negative reviews about him and almost chose to go another route but I'm glad I chose him. Dr. Guirguis made what was a very scary medical journey run so smoothly. He took the time to thoroughly go through diagnosis,  options,questions and concerns and made sure I understood completely the whole process. He showed so much compassion throughout my ordeal wanting to provide my want of keeping my fertility while keeping me healthy and although in the end my fertility could not be saved I could tell how bad he felt after. Dr. Guirguis is amazing! From the moment I met him he was kind and patient and took the time to really talk me through the process of my hysterectomy. He answered all my questions and spoke to me as if we were friends and not just a patient he just met. His bedside manner is what made me feel comfortable in his care. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who needs the care he provides.

Dr. Guirguis is a beautiful soul - a kind, invested, and gifted surgeon. He's a wonderful human being who cares about people, and who has the gifting, skill, and desire to make a difference. He surveilled me for over 2 years - ordering the tests every 4 months to make sure I was stable - finally I agreed to have surgery. He and his team are honest and forthright - they give the information and explain thoroughly. He's a great surgeon and a wonderful doctor overall. I have such peace in the decision I made to have surgery; it seems to have given him a level of peace as well. I dragged everything out, and never did I feel pushed or bullied . . . he and his team simply explained and gave me the best information they had at their disposal. I appreciate Dr. Guirguis' compassion and honesty; his openness and direct answers even to the tough questions. Dr Guirguis Gynecologic Cancer Institute did not feel like a Cancer Institute. He began to sell me on the idea of having a life ultering operation where my insurance would pay him $$$ (Thousand) I would miss work and go through a painful recovery and he justified his recommendation by drawing pictures. Yes you read correctly drawing BS pictures. Not ultrasound pictures with factual information and science , instead he drew pictures. I was feed alot of BS sprinkled with rudeness driven by his insane methods . Not someone I recommend. When they say stay clear of his crazy side this is just one example of nsanity in motion. .

Here we go again. Patient leaves an informative report of bad behavior from GCI again. " They are very rude, avoid, avoid, avoid. Go anywhere but here" Guirguis lives in his own reality. Guirguis trys to impress by drawing pictures , where are the real pictures generated from ultrasounds?? Guirguis and his staff have been reported to show agression, be extremely rude, and offend women. Do you see an apology? They do not care. It is about Guirguis's pocket book 1st Just read that crazy Guirguis and staff believed that threatening a patient with police force was somehow helpful to reduce pain. They said to an elderly couple if you do not leave we will call the police. They lady was in serve pain reached out for help. The help they thought was best was to threaten her. Can you get any more crazy? These people are the lowest of the low. No class or grace

There is nothing "Nice or The Best" when Guirguis threatens patients. There is nothing "Nice or The Best" when Guirguus kicks trusting patients out of the very office patients trust the most. There is nothing "Nice or The Best" by saying if your down on you luck and can't pay us then we will reschedule you appointment and then women can't get the care they need due to money and greed. This policy is noted on their past website. There is nothing "Nice or The Best" by pressing women to have sterilization surgeries that they do not need. Nothing about this man is "Nice or the Best" unfortunately.

He was good in the operating room, and a little nutty out of the surgical room. I did see the review from a daughter that the crazy people at GCI wanted to call the police on her Mom & Dad because her Mom needed help and was in relentless pain. She asked for support and help, the GCI responses wias leave or we will call the police. Once they have your money they do not seem to value aftercare. Pure craziness, but if you know in advance how nuts they can be ,it is helpful. He was good in operating room. Just made sure I stayed clear of his crazy side of calling the police on people because they ask for help when they are in Relentless pain. I think those were the words the daughter used. Stay clear of their and his craziness and you will find a good surgeon. He also tends to ramble and it Iis difficult to follow his thought pattern as he tends to have a flight of thoughts all at once. Just guide him as to what he needs to focus on and he should be ok. His temper began to show but you could tell he was working hard to control it. I would not describe him as nice but would say he is a good Surgeon who likes to be in charge and talk about himself.

I could not possibly express how wonderful Dr. Guirguis is. He has treated my mom's ovarian cancer for 6.5 years after multiple other doctors said there was nothing they could do. He is brilliant-always one step ahead of the latest treatments, has extraordinary bedside manner, he is calm and compassionate and makes sure you have and understand all the information you need to make informed choices. There is no better doctor in this world than Dr. Guirguis.

A good Doctor , a good Man, a good Human being, knowns that the biggest sin a Dr could make is to abuse trust, abuse power, abuse the female body. A great Doctor knows they are smarter then no one , and better than no body. A good Dr is decent and truthful. All lessons Dr. Guirguis needs to learn. None of these traits were ever displayed when he failed miserably treated my Mom.

This is a difficult message to write but I need surgery; I was looking for a good Surgeon and came across Al Guirguis's profile and was greatly disappointed by the Guirguis supporters, who do not know him like they think. I worked indirectly with him and listened to him while he took part and lead in premeditated bullying and inflicted pain and suffering on some people. The strange thing is he appeared to know these girls well beyond the guidelines of a Doctor, but used his professional skills to try to hurt them. The real mess is he looks and acts so nice, which we are also seeing in the news, those portrayed as being nice may not be so nice after all. Same with Guirguis. I often think of the girls that he hurt. I hope they and his other victims are Ok. What I heard was medical business fraud. This man is not great by any means he is really unethical. Be careful of this man.

Very much so, Dr. Guirguis is excellent, he saved my life. I have been in remission for 9 yrs. When I first met him at Rush he looked me in the eye and told me the facts in layman’s terms. He honest and most concise. An expect in his field.

want to thank the classy women who recognize that over inflated reviews are misleading and false advertising of superiority of services and expertise which is not in accordance with IPR. It can also be noted if Dr. Guirguis is promoting such behavior and sensoring reviews to make himself look flawless that is also a big issue.. At the end of the day the women calling out flaws in his care, behaviors and actions are helping inform others of care that has caused alarming harm . The women who are misleading other women that this man is somehow superior over other doctors and he is somehow different should go get help . Thank you classy women , you understand rules that these people think they are above. I do think this Dr. Is sensoring reviews to promote himself unfairly. Excellent bedside manner ! Very knowledgeable and pleasant and explains things very well. He is trustworthy and he and his staff are very professional. I can get quite anxious with doctors / dentists so I’m very picky about how I choose physicians . Dr Guirguis is very professional and has personable and is able to put you at ease when discussing procedures. He is one of the most genuine and pleasant physicians I’ve met in a long time . Without hesitation I would recommend him to friends and family.

I had a hysterectomy a week ago. This can be a very emotional and stressful time for a woman but because of Dr. Girgius's spirit and humility, I am able to recovery to my full potential. Dr. Guirguis and his team are all amazing. From the first meeting in his office to determine next steps, through pre-surgery tests, and surgery, the entire experience has been positive, caring and extremely professional. I highly recommend Dr. Guirguis and his team.

Women are standing up against threats of police force in a Dr's office. They are standing up for their rights not to be threaten by a Dr. They are standing up to let others know Dr. Guirguis's actions endangered their well being and life. Dr. Guirguis has harmed women. He should get an academy award for acting like he has no idea why he is being called out for abuse of trust and causing harm . What Dr Guirguis has done to women is disgusting. He choose abuse of power not kindness and hurt. 1st thing he needs to do is acknowledge his wrongful actions have hurt. He says he is a Christian Man than he should prove it and reach out to all those he has harmed and acknowledge his wrongs. This game of poor me. I am perfect and have no idea why I am being called out, only a fool would believe. Women do not stand tall against abuse unless they have really been abused. The fact that Dr. Guirguis won't admit his wrongs shows how deep seeded his ignorance and sickness is. This man was abusive and dangerous, now he needs to stop the game and apologize to all those he has hurt. He did not display kindness, compassion, or thought leadership. He was egotistical and darn right mean when he took full advantage of women for his pleasure.

In short, he is the most incredible doctor. If you have Ovarian Cancer he is one of the best doctors in the country. We are forever grateful that we were lucky enough to cross paths with him and to be able to become a patient of his. He is surrounded by great people, his staff and nurses are so wonderful, especially Nina. Thank you for everything you have all done and continue to do. Best Doctor EVER! My mother was diagnosed with Uterine cancer in December 2019. As a family, we were initially shocked, scared and clueless. By God's grace, we were referred to Dr. Guirguis and his team within a week's time. There has been no looking back ever since. My mom and I met with Dr. Guirguis twice prior to surgery where he went over pages of medical reports and test results. He hand drew a diagram of the female reproductive system and explained step by step of what will take place during her procedure. My mother was diagnosed with Uterine cancer in December 2019. As a family, we were initially shocked, scared and clueless. By God's grace, we were referred to Dr. Guirguis and his team within a week's time. There has been no looking back ever since. My mom and I met with Dr. Guirguis twice prior to surgery where he went over pages of medical reports and test results. He hand drew a diagram of the female reproductive system and explained step by step of what will take place during her procedure. Dr. Guiruis saved my life

Dr. G said we needed to schedule a major surgery, so that I would feel better . He said if I did not have surgery it would cost me my health. I moved forward. When I got my bill I thought they made a mistake. When I called the billing lady said , your surgery was elective the insurance company won't pay so we billed for a mandatory procedure. I felt really taken advantage of. I had surgery that was elective that I did not need. The Dr was unaplogic. Gosh I would have never imagined a Christian man taking such advantage.

Outstanding doctor. I am so grateful to Dr. Guirguis for his excellent care. I’m am alive today because of him.

By hands down the previous writer must mean .Dr. Guirguis and his partner kept their hands to their side while a lady sat suffering, who was then threatened to leave his office, they were to busy and did not feel like seeing her. Easier to threaten her to leave then to help her. I think the writer meant to say hands down the worst Dr's who are not afraid to harm. That ladies is the truth . Dr. Guirguis saved my life! He is the most compassionate, skilled and professional physician I have ever had. I had been referred to other physicians who wouldn't take my insurance or who treated me with disrespect. I was so upset by the time I saw Dr. Guirguis, I thought maybe it would be better to just die. But he was kind and considerate. He explained all my options and promised to give me the best care. His whole office staff are warm and caring folks who helped me through surgery, chemo and radiation. I am now cancer free for two years. Please ignore these ridiculous bad reviews and go see Dr. Guirguis, you won't regret it!

My Mom is an elderly lady, kind , and gentle, she is smart and well spoken but she does not hear well. Dr. Guirguis became agitated when he had to speak louder. He left the room and did not answer her questions. What happen to the kind compassionate Dr. we read about in the reviews? The Dr. who would answers questions and is kind? The family tried to ask that question. The staff member told us he sensors the reviews on Vitals and on Google. You are not allowed to write about miss treatment because he takes it down. She said he uses those sites as advertisements . The man we meet was not even close to the reviews. So women writing reviews for advertisement purposes are not helping those who need good old fashion care. He did more harm than good..

This review on google was helpful. This office is very aggressive towards patients. The fact that Dr. Guirguis and Dr. Lowe ( founding partners of GCI ) would authorize techniques to be used against patients like Dr Neubauer used is very troubling. No lady should ever be abused, intimidated, or bullied in a Dr 's office. The google review under Dr. Neubauer is alarming the review reads : Dr. Neubauer refused to see my mother today in office for unrelenting pain. She had a man come out and threaten to arrest my father because they didn’t have an appointment to be seen. We are doing everything in our power to make sure her actions do not go unnoticed. Shame on you neubauerYou took an oath This is unacceptable. It is a shame and unfortunate that GCI would use these tactics to scare innocent trusting patients. A Doctor should want to help and if a lady is in need they took an oath to help. Something is very wrong at GCI and Dr. Guirguis and Dr. Lowe should never authorize aggressive behavior against patients. .

He said he respected my right to choose; however all the options he gave me and all paths led to surgery. Surgery by the way I did not need. He talked about all the surgeries he has performed if one does the math all paths led to millions for him. Women in the reviews talk about what a savor he was, but was he really? I found out later that being so young and having ovaries removed can lead to heart disease later in life. One option he did not give me. So is he really a great Dr or does he take the easy way out and the most profitable for himself and perform the surgery? That question in my case was the answer. Surgery not needed all paths should have led to other real options. He differently has experience doing surgery not sure that is a good thing. He makes you feel lucky to have him, noted in so many reviews (but really) is he lucky to have you?

Dr. Guirguis is one of the most personable doctors I have ever seen. I've seen several doctors through the years and usually you can tell they are in it for the money and can care less about the patientsm. Dr. Guirguis makes sure he addresses every single detail no matter how small. Truly a doctor with a heart of gold.

Dr. Guirghuis is the most compassionate, professional, knowledgeable gynecologist/oncologist I have been privileged to be treated by in my 70 years. He became my doctor when I came to Good Samaritan Hospital in excruciating pain with a 35 pound mass in my abdomen. His skill as a surgeon is amazing. Not only was he wonderful with me but he calmed and informed my family, making an incredibly terrifying situation manageable for all of us. I was truly lucky that my mass was benign but if cancer had been my fate, Dr. Guirghuis would be the one I would want to guide me through that care. He respects me and my family, being honest but ever-optimistic while caring for me. Whenever he speaks with any of us, one becomes absolutely certain that my current and future health is his top priority. Our only problem now is to figure out a way to show him how much he is appreciated. If you are facing a serious gynecological health issue contact this amazing physician! I truly geel God guides his hands!

Dr Guirguis and PA Nicole are excellent. They thoroughly explained everything regarding my health issue & answered all my questions. 2 close friends who were with me at the hospital when I had surgery were very impressed with Dr Guirguis. Dr Guirguis was everything but a great OBGYN/ Ongonglis . He spoke about region. not science. His techniques to get you to agree to a costly surgery are unquie most Dr's have integrity. Did not find that to be true with him .

Dr. Guirguis was incredible, professional and above the "corporate doctor". He was a referred to me by my regular gynecologist. I'm 58 and still was having my period and they wanted to check to make sure no cancer or other issues. I came to his office and he checked everything, and gave me options. Asked if I wanted to have my husband present. Totally respected my rights and my privacy. My husband was with me when I chose to get a hysterectomy. He suggested a number of tests before the procedure to make sure it was right decision. There was no problem at his office my other doctor's office had trouble getting paperwork together. After tests were done, I went through with having the hysterectomy with the robotic arm procedure. Everything went very smooth. I was practically healed after just a few weeks. It's now been 2 months and I have been fully healed. Everything was alright I had a few abnormalities, but there was no cancer. His staff were also very professional.

He is extremely patient and understanding. He has a remarkable team and were very helpful to all of my concerns and questions. I will recommend Dr. Guirguis to anyone in need of his expertise.

I LOVE Dr. Guirguis professionalism and how he connects to the human spirit. He was patient to explain in details 14 pages of medical reports that lead up to my recent surgery. In addition, Dr Guirguis hand drew a diagram of my anatomy explaining what the procedure would look like. As a result, I was able to make an informed decision concerning my body and healthcare. Also, my family shared that they LOVED how immediately after surgery Dr. Guirguis provided comfort by patiently explaining the procedure outcome and sharing ways to care for me post surgery. I thank God that I was so blessed to have been referred to Dr. Guirguis to become my gynecologist. From the very first appointment with him, he was very upfront, informative, and very sincere in the ultimate care for my wellbeing. After reviewing my medical history, he sent me to have tests to see if and how he could help my situation. I was sent to Dr. Guirguis by my Primary Care Physician, due to a very large tumor I had on my left ovary, and some fibroids I had in my uterus. I was very nervous about having a male gynecologist at first, but upon my first visit, Dr. Guirguis made me feel comfortable and safe. He thoroughly explained what was going on in my body, and what the plan for surgery. He sent me for all of the possible preventative tests to make sure nothing else was wrong. He was the EPITOME of professional!!! On the day of surgery, he thoroughly explained things to my family, and was reassuring! Also, me being a woman of strong Christian faith, I found his faith and encouragement comforting! The surgery went well, and I ended up having a total hysterectomy, but it turned out ( as Dr. Guirguis had told us previously) to be absolutely necessary. My recovery is going extremely well, and I owe it to Dr. Guirguis! I would highly recommend Dr. Guirguis to any woman dealing with gynecological issues!!!

I waited 20 minutes in the waiting room, then 27 minutes in the exam room. I truly think they forgot about me. There were no other patients in the office, I finally got dressed and left without being seen. This was a yearly visit to check my cancer status, unacceptable.

Dr. Giurguis is a GREAT doctor like none other. He provided wonderful care during a recent surgery. Prior, he took the time to explain in detail 14 pages of medical reports from imagines-tests that I had preformed. Doc even drew a diagram in details to further explain what the surgical procedure would look like. He patiently answered all my questions allowing me to make an informed decision concerning my body. Immediately following the surgery, my family shared how Dr. Giurguis patiently explained to them in details the results of the surgery and how to best care for me post surgery. Dr. Guirguis and his team's bedside care was like none I've ever experienced. They took the time to sit with me and further discuss my healing and care. They were always encouraging and positive. I met Dr. Guirguis 7 years ago and if it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be alive today. He is so thoughtful and caring. Dr. Gurguis was very thorough and detailed about what each steps would be. My surgery was very difficult and he literally saved my life. He is so encouraging and positive every time I’ve seen him.
