Great staff! Doctor Geissele did a great job and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing back surgery.

Dr. Geissele is awesome. I was very apprehensive about surgery but he was truthful and helpful and did a great job on my surgery.

Everyone was excellent Nice Friendly and caring The Dr. Listen to me rather than just diagnose After listening to me he was very thorough in his opinion of what was going on and his treatment plan! Thus far an excellent Dr!

Dr Geiselle is an excellent orthopedic surgeon specializing in neck and back issues. Highly recommend him and EmergeOrtho. I live in Gastonia and drive the extra distance because the other well known orthopedic practice in the Charlotte area never seems to want to SOLVE problems just throw treatments at it that my medical history has proven don’t work! Dr Geissele is a wonderful doctor; very knowledgeable, professional, congenial and has a great sense of humor. He has the knack for telling it like it is, all the while making you feel at ease. Very thorough. One of the best doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Great bedside manner. Told me honest truth and gave me good options on what could be done to help me with my issue.

Everyone is so nice and caring.

Worst decision I’ve ever made to have this quack operate on me, has a sacroiliac fusion surgery, after telling him 9 months after surgery i was in worse pain than ever and wasn’t able to work,he refused to help me with my long term disability policy! Then kicked me out as a patient!went to another doctor and discovered one of the 3 metal implants was misplaced and none of them fused causing me permanent chronic pain! That cannot be revised! Stay away from this BUTCHER!!!!

I saw Dr.Geissele for ongoing problems possibly associated with prior orthopedic surgeries by other surgeons in another state.He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and above all he listened carefully to my concerns.I did not feel rushed at all.A series of testing was planned with follow up when he has received the results. Awesome down to earth surgeon that cares about what he is doing. Doctor Geiselle has done what I have been trying to get corrected for years on my low back,(12 years) to be exact. Professional, friendly, and efficient. Did not have to wait. Dr. Geissele was experienced, and thorough, he examined my x-rays, listened to what I had to say, answered my questions, and started a conservative treatment plan, before jumping into costly extra testing and procedures. The doctor was very considerate and very patient with me and the staff was very nice

Dr. Alfred Geissele has an impressive background and knowledge base that I very much appreciated.

Excellent surgeon/Physician...and excellent Drs/nurses and staff in the practice...Been going there for many yrs..

I came in this morning to see My Dr for surgical f/u Dr Geissele is the best!! As soon as I left the office, the pain came back. It’s not his fault! It’s just one of those things! Thank you Dr Geissele and staff! Special thank you to Karla! Every one is wonderful staff.

Dr. Geissele was very thorough and strived to come up with a plan for my recovery. He stated, “Let me figure out what is wrong.” That lifted a weight off my shoulders, because I am always trying to search for answers on my on!! He explained his theories about my condition, and I felt good about what he had to say.

Dr.Geissele is the most caring dr. I've ever been too. He will spend time answering your questions, & makes sure you understand everything he's explaining. Dr.Geissele did my fusion years ago, & I recommend him to anyone that needs an ortho dr.

Dr. Geissele performed my surgery many years ago and I have recommended him to everyone I know who has needed an orthopedic surgeon. He really is the best. I still go to him for any issues I have. You won't find a better doctor.

I absolutely love Dr. Geissele. I suffered for years before seeing him. He listened to every word I said, and sent me for an MRI. 3days later I was back in his office and surgery was scheduled. Oct 2019. By January I had reinjured my L5 and needed a fusion. Feb 2020 he fused my L5 S1. I love that he is down to earth and listens. Hes about to do a Si joint fusion on me and I just can't wait. I seen the PA the day I went he was great in explaining the options and checking this out . Have heard great things about Geissele look forward to meeting him and getting this surgery over with . This is the best dr he is so kind and caring for his patients. If I ever need neck surgery again I really hope he is around to do it . He takes the time to listen to you and never rushes you . 5 stars isn't enough for him . Very very pleased with him and the whole staff . A1 in my book . One of the many things I like about this doctor and his staff is rarely do you ever sit in the waiting room or exam room longer than 5 - 10 minutes before you are called on. When you are in pain this is extremely important. The staff are above and beyond in the caring and efficiency areas. Dr. Giessele is a wonderful surgeon, and takes the time to explain your procedure in easy to understand language. I highly recommend this doctor and his staff. Seldom do we walk out of a Doctor's Office and think we got our monies worth. Dr. Geissele is one of those Doctor's that you feel so confident he understands what you are feeling and what he can do to help with your condition. He listened then he explained my situation carefully and straightforward which I really appreciated. He took up a lot of time with me, leaving me with satisfaction of the direction on a cure. Dr. Geissele is a wonderful surgeon. In my follow up appointments after surgery, he listened very patiently to issues I had. If I ever needed surgery again, I wouldn’t hesitate at all in choosing him for my surgeon. Very nice guy!!

On February 6 2017 , Dr Geissele performed surgery my back I had a previous surgery In 2008 that had failed. He corrected that and added 2 more cages. I have to say that Dr Geissele is by far one of the best back doctors I have ever seen. I had been telling my Dr for 3 years my back was hurting really bad and was having numbness down my right leg but they wouldn't believe me. I finally got them to do a MRI after being treated poorly for 3 years and that's when the collapse in my disc was seen and I was sent to Dr Geissele. I was then told I was going to need surgery. I ended up having a full fusion and 2 decompressions. I couldn't have imagined going through that with any other Dr than Geissele. He has the best bedside manner and always listened to everything I had to say and every concern I had. We’ve been using them for years. Dr. Geissele has treated all of our family members at some time or another. We always receive the best care from him and with this practice. We love the friendly staff. They always explain everything in detail to make sure we have a good understanding of what is happening!!

Did my surgery several years ago, very compassionate and understanding. Would definitely recommend him for anyone needing surgery on spine.

Dr. Geissele is a God Send. He did my Lumbar Fusion L4/L5 L5 S1 18 yrs ago. Never had any problems or pain after that. He has also done a Cervical Fusion at the C5/C6 15yrs ago & also a Spinal Laminectomy at L3/L4 11yrs ago. I have DDD Degen Disc Disease. I would recommend my friends to Dr. Geissele.

Dr. Geissele takes the time to listen to me and address my concerns. He never acts rushed to see me gone. He has a fantastic bedside manner in his office & the hospital.

I first saw Dr. Geissele in April 2017. It was amazing to me how clearly he identified my medical issues and helped me understand my treatment options. I saw Dr. Geisele get things done when no one else could. He is very understanding of everyday situations that contribute issues with treatment plans. I would highly recommend to anyone in need of an orthopedic Dr. His kindness and compassion are way above average and in my opinion, he goes above and beyond the call of duty of standard practice!

They will not see you even if you are a child if you owe any money. They put money over children and they are the ones who did her surgery!!!! Horrible people!!!!

I have a spine condition that I found out by another specialist that has been going on for so long that it's starting to cause irreversible nerve damage. They wanted to put surgery off for 5 - 10 years. That's ok too. I contacted the Laser Spine Institute and set up my operation that's much cheaper , less invasive. Also, if you owe them any money that insurance didn't cover for their high priced services, you can forget being seen. He has done 2 back sugerys on me in the past. They lasted a good while. He doesn't surgery on you , it' what you what & what's for the best. He's well mannered @ takes his time with you. Don't like seeing PA.

I was in severe pain for several years from sciatica but was terrified of having back surgery. My Dr sent me for an MRI and then to Dr Geissele. By then I had weakening in my right leg from nerve damage and the pain was worsening. After he reasoned with me that the surgery was necessary due to spinal stenosis we scheduled surgery. That was 7 years ago and I knew, immediately, that the surgery was a success! I haven't had that kind of pain since that day! I am so thankful for Dr Geisele!
