Alfred Lynne Brannen II

Left me wondering whether or not I was dealing with a doctor. What happened to "do no harm" The office called me and told me not to come. I was having chest tightness and some pain off and on. I had had a test with a handheld breathing device and I wanted a real test with all the equipment. I went to Brannen. After my visit, I was called at home and told not to come back if I was a former SRS worker. ?? I was having issues. He took my doctor's place because my doctor retired, so what the heck was he going on about? Needless to say, I did not! go back and I told everyone that will listen.

My father was admitted into the hospital 4 weeks ago and was told someone from the office would call him for a follow up in 1 month. No one called so after a week, my dad called and has been calling consistently for 3 weeks and leaving messages on the nurse's voicemail and still we have not heard anything. All we need to do is make an appt and its like an act of congress! Cardiologist follow up told my dad he has 2 spots on his lungs but wouldn't go into detail bc Dr Brannen is supposed to go over it during the follow up. Well, we can't get a follow up even scheduled. This office is ridiculous!!! Never have i ever had a problem scheduling an appt for a follow up from a hospital admission!!!! Poor customer service skills.

No stars. I was referred to this doctor. This Doctor refused to see me. They did not ask me, but told me that if I was going to file a claim against Savannah River site, that he could not see me. Yes, the office called me and told me this. I was going to see him because my breathing had changed and Primary suggested I go see him. NO, I would not recommend this man to anyone. No stars. My husband had a bronchoscope by Dr. Brannen and almost died. His pulse and blood pressure increased to a very high level and Dr. Brannen insisted he go home from day surgery that day instead of being admitted. The attending nurse verbally objected but he would not listen. We went to Emory when my husband was able to travel and they admitted him for 2 weeks for pulmonary issues. NEVER went back to Brannen!!

Terrible office staff. Nurses are incompetent and constantly make excuses for their failures. They don't return phone calls in a timely manner and Dr. Brannen has a demonstrable lack of interpersonal skills. Avoid this doctor at all costs!
