Been a patient of theirs for years and have zero complaints. Very kind people, wonderful front desk workers, very dependable and reliable. Some people just don’t want to pay, and as a result... leave bad reviews?

I would NOT suggest these people. Took 2 weeks to tell me "NO". Yeah, just NO, without an explanation. And absolutely wouldn't budge. The lady wouldn't even double check. I NEED a psychiatrist near by and this was the only one available.

I spoke with a woman Name ILLENE, It was the most horrible phone call I ever made. Even if she wasn’t that she had no regards for a person having a crisis that needed help. When I first called and heard her disgusting uncaring voice I knew there would be a problem. She scheduled me an appointment about 2 weeks out claiming that was the first available and I was fine with that, she told me should would mail me out a reminder and some papers that needed filled out and I received them late. It wasn’t until the day of the appointment after the actual appointment time that I remembered I had an appointment. Mistakes happen. Not just any mistakes, a mistake made by a person who is severely depressed and was laying in a bed staring at a wall. Apparently there is a policy where you can’t miss an appointment or you won’t be able to be rescheduled. Illene advised me of this and told me she would speak to the Dr and to call her back Monday. I called and again she led me on saying she didn’t get around talking to the Dr and that she would call me back... she never called a couple days later so I called her, only for her to uncaringly tell me the Dr had declined to see me which i totally don’t it even believe she tried. I cried to her on the phone and told her I needed help, literally cried. She’s an evil, disgusting individual. I don’t even believe she tried to help me by speaking with this Dr. and if she did shame on this Dr for caring about an appointment slot rather than mental health. Dr. Ivanov is amazing. Highly recommended

The front office staff is excellent. Eileen is kind and understanding and really goes above and beyond. Dr. D is a tremendously knowledgable and capable clinician. He is also compassionate and gives each patient the time they need if necessary. Dr. D is the type of Doc that everyone suffering with mental health issues deserve, but unfortunately psychiatrists of his skill are few and far between. The front office staff is excellent. This place is a joke. The doctor went away for a month and I scheduled an appointment 6 weeks in advance before he left for after he got back. They didn’t even call to confirm or remind me and I missed the appointment being that it was scheduled 6 weeks prior. They proceeded to send me a letter saying they can no longer see me because I missed ONE appointment. Then they threaten and say they’re going to send my account into collections if I don’t pay them in the next 14 DAYS. Mind you I pay $107 EACH VISIT OUT OF POCKET. Then they charged me $75 for missing the appointment!! ONE MISSED APPOINTMENT!!! They are so unreasonable and all they want is your money!! Would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE. This is a place people go to for mental health and they’re just ok with kicking people out and leaving them to find help elsewhere. This place is a joke. Dr. Emil Ivanov is excellent! He is professional, educated, and very easy to talk to. I would highly suggest using him. I have never had Any issues with billing or appointments. Has helped me very much.

I tried to schedule an appointment and they said they would call me back on the next Monday. I didn't hear anything so I called again on Thursday only to be told that the doctors told the receptionist that I couldn't schedule an appointment and I couldn't know why. I asked if they were allowed to tell me if it was my insurance, just the doctors schedule- anything! and was told that I couldn't know. It was just strange. Thats fine, I just wish they would have told me so I could have looked for other doctors in the meantime. In the end, I think this place is very unprofessional and don't care much about the people coming to them for care. I wouldn't recommend. Dr. Ivanov is kind and caring. He was very patient with me and spent ample time with me. I did not feel rushed or that I was just a number. I have felt dehumanized with other psychiatrists, but Dr. Ivanov did not make me feel that way in the least!
