Went to see Dr Parikh for a 2nd opinion work up on my Dad's cancer. Very good Dr listens and is patient, and uses his skills. Very honest. There was no surprises when it came to my Dad's whipple procedure that was not successful because my Dad's cancer had grown on main arteries and he called off the surgery. He said he could have went on and completed the whipple, but there was no sense in putting my Dad through that. I really appreciated his honesty and expertise.

Excellent surgeon.... Did total gastrectomy on my wife and will do my daughters. Very kind man with that cares about his patients

Dr. Parikh and his team did an amazing job caring for my father before, during, and after his whipple procedure. He addressed every concern we faced and gave us the capability to feel hopeful in our father's fight against pancreatic cancer. He worked beyond the requirements of a surgeon to treat our father with the utmost care and exceeded our expectations. If you are in need of a surgeon, we hands down recommend him. You will not be disappointed, and your loved one will be in good hands.

Dr. Parikh is a remarkable surgeon. He saved my life. He also has a bedside manner that is so important to cancer patients. Truly a great man, who happens to be a surgeon.

My mother in law has been sick for over a month and in the ER twice while waiting on a simple call back from this doctor. They were suppose to reschedule her surgery over three weeks ago and won't even call her back. Being in the medical field this is very disappointing for a provider and Vanderbilt!
