Dr. Alexander M Bonakdar

I have dry eyes and kerataconus that Dr Bonakdar cured for me. He solve all my problems by prescribing and fitting me with scleral lens. I love them. I no longer have dry eyes! Not only that my vision is now 20/10. Thank you Dr. and Alejandra! I hope other people with my problem seek you out so they can find relief like i did. My lens are comfortable all day long and sometimes i wish i didn’t have to take them out at night. :)

I recently moved from New York to California. You know how stressful it is to find good doctors, especially a qualified and experienced optometrist, when you are new in the area. However, I was lucky to find Doctor Bonakdar. The building was easy to find, the parking was very convenient, and the office was very nice and clean. His receptionist was very kind and helpful. Waiting time in the office was minimal since collecting patients' information was genuinely designed online, and I did it from home instead of filling out so many forms in the office. Doctor Bonakdar was very nice and also detail oriented. My job involves working with computers all day, and Doctor Bonakdar explained all the details about how I have to take care of them during working hours. All the tests and exams were implemented smoothly, along with some level of explanation. As a person who works in tech, I would say the whole session was informative, educational, and amusing. Five stars is the minimum I can give to this experience.

Took my father here. Alexander Bonakdar, OD treated my father very rudely because English is his second language and had difficulty following instructions during exam. No patient care skills. Never seen this level of unprofessionalism with any medical provider.

love it here and would highly recommend to anyone. Very nice environment and Alejandra is just great! She is very friendly and accommodating Dr. Bonakdar is also great. He is extremely knowledgeable and informative and explains things to you with clarity.

i had a stroke and was seeing everything double. it was very difficult for me to drive and do daily tasks. I went to few doctors and they told me to wear an eye patch that's it. I was looking for a solution and one of my coworker recommended dr alexander bonadkar. not only he treated my double vision i was able to see and driver. I cannot describe the feeling. sometime we take things for granted now i am very thankful. now i visit every 6 months for regular eye check up. i am very happy that i met someone who is very experience and knowledgeable. i had a stroke and was seeing everything double. it was very difficult for me to drive and do daily tasks. I love coming to this office unlike my dentist. Easy going office with a good frame selection. I love my bifocal contact lens I wear all day long even though I have severe dry eyes. The doctor prescribed scleral lens for me and I have been super happy with the fit and comfort. The receptionist Alejandra is great and makes sure that I dont fall behind on my annual eye exam. and they se habla espanol, and that helps with my wife who doesnt' speak english well. After coming in on super short notice they took amazing care of me!!! Need your eyelids cleaned due to oil build up?! Come in for a blephex treatment they are extremely reasonably priced and will make sure your eyes are better before leaving. They don't just perform the treatment by itself they also educate you and walk you through what is going to happen. I felt very taken care of and secure with Dr. Alexander and am going to come back in 6 months for another cleaning!
