I suppose if I was dieing and had no other option, I would see Dr Laktonen... but I would certainly not rely on her opinions or diagnosis . Quite frankly, I am not impressed with narcissist minds and people who get pleasure from shaming others. I do not appreciate being lied to and treated as if I'm not important. Money seems to be Alberta's only reasons for her decision making.

I went in with classic symptoms of Rheumatoid Arthritis. I spent 6 months begging her to test me for RA and she flat out refused. She kept saying I had a vitamin D deficiency and I needed to lose weight (my BMI is in the healthy weight range) all she did was up my vitamin D and recommend weight loss programs. I finally went to an outside doctor and they tested me for RA - sure enough, I've been seeing a Rheumatologist for a year and my symptoms are completely managed with medication.

She was rude and condescending, a trait I have never experienced from a professional MD previously in over 60 years. Immediately jumped to drugs and found it difficult to discuss other, more holistic options...she appeared to have made her mind up and issued a prescription for medicines, which I promptly tore up and threw away. Her notes on my record were insulting and did not reflect the actual conversation but apparently what she was thinking about my condition.
