Dr. Albert Galdi

Bad, he is the worst any one can encounter he never listen to the patient and made his assumptions and created detrimental prescription!

I have been seeing Dr Galdi since I was 17 now 46. He is nothing but the best.

I went 11 months after a concussion, and gave my post-concussion symptoms of increased migraines, almost constant headaches, bad noise sensitivity, and word retrieval problems. (Also had memory and organizational problems, but the concussion effects prevented me from recognizing that) He adjusted my migraine meds, laser focused on my sleep apnea history, and ordered a sleep study. No other treatment or referrals. His notes left out the headaches and noise sensitivity, and didn't connect the symptoms to the concussion. After sleep study, then compliance with CPAP, and increased noise sensitivity/no changes in other symptoms, I called for another appt. THREE months wait! So, 2+yrs after concussion, I see him, state my problems, and he again focused on sleep, ignoring everything else. He didn't have my sleep history, (my pulmonary Dr. got it in 8 minutes) and refused to do anything until he reviewed it. His notes left out ALL MY POST-CONCUSSION SYMPTOMS except the migraines. No treatment. No referrals. I never returned. My NEW primary referred me to a post-concussion specialist who finally provided appropriate referrals: PT, speech therapy, a Migraine Center, an audiologist, and a neuropsych exam. (Which, BTW, identified cognitive deficits resulting from the concussion) Not only did Dr. Galdi fail to accurately document my condition, (affecting my ability to receive compensation from at-fault driver's insurance for permanent injuries and inability to return to nursing) but he also significantly delayed treatment for my painful, disruptive, and life-changing symptoms. Seek treatment from a practitioner who owns their own sleep center at your own risk. Yes, I had sleep apnea, but that's not why I saw Dr. Galdi. Yet, with all the information and studies on concussions, post concussion syndrome, and their treatment, he chose to only diagnose and treat me for sleep apnea. He is am amazing doctor. He is very professional and very knowledgable.

If a "zero" rating existed that is what this so-called dr. would receive. Misdiagnosed my problem for over 10 years, never had any relief and I mistakenly trusted him. Now I have a permanent disability that could have been avoided if correctly diagnosed. Terrible experience, terrible office staff - rude, disrespectful, unhelpful. Do not see this man. Find yourself a real doctor.

I saw Dr. Galdi about 11 months after a concussion for my increased migraines, noise sensitivity, and word retrieval problems. If he had bothered to ask, I would have told him that I had memory problems too. He made a change with my migraine meds, laser focused on my history of sleep apnea, and ordered a sleep study. He only documented my migraines and noise sensitivity, and didn't connect them to my concussion. He didn't order any other treatment. After CPAP, and with increasing noise sensitivity, I called for an appt. Three MONTHS before I could get in, so it was another year. This time, he AGAIN focused on my sleep disorder, despite my CPAP compliance. I again stated my symptoms. He only documented the migraines. He didn't have the CPAP history, and refused to proceed without it. I never returned. I finally saw someone ELSE who treated me appropriately. Referrals to PT, speech therapy, an audiologist, a migraine clinic, and a neuropsych exam. NEVER see a Dr. who owns a sleep center!

He is great.

I found it odd that they don't give you much help with scheduling tests. A hospital is suggested but you have to make many calls to find out which department and fax number, then call the doctor's office back with the info so they can fax the orders. This was after they first gave me the phone number for a place that doesn't even do the test. Once we needed a DNA test done and I was told to call medicare and ask if they covered it. They expect you to be their office staff.

he would not lisiten me to, talked down to me the entire time and told me my neurological issues of 14 years was in my head. I won't be going back

Dr. Galdi diagnosed me with Parkinson's. He was very meticulous and complete. I appreciate that he took his work so seriously. I am a biochemistry and chemistry teacher and had completely reviewed movement disorders. His prescription plan for me was well supported by the literature.

I have never been so impressed with a Dr. in my life. He came out to meet me and take me back to the examining room himself. After he did his testing I asked many question which he answered for me but a few days later, of course, I had many more. I called and his nurse said he answers the phone during his lunch hour. I called and he answered the phone himself and I was able to ask all my questions. I told Dr. Galdi at the time that his was the most patient friendly office I had ever been to. I highly recommend him. In this day and age to find a Dr. who is so knowledgable, really listens and genuinely cares is a gift. I have never been so impressed with a Dr. in my life. If you want to spend time on the phone setting up appointments for tests, something the staff should be doing, finding out the doctors office needs to fax the order for said tests to the testing facility. What a waste. My wife was told to get a CT scan. We did so, and Dr. Galdi told us to call Johns Hopkins another time we found the doctor gave us erroneous information on protocol. Something he or staff could have found out by calling Johns Hopkins themselves.

Dr. Galdi is very knowledgeable, thorough and caring. He is one of the few doctors that I absolutely trust. Dr. Galdi returns my phone calls the same day. The staff is also wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Galdi.

Dr. Galdi is not the warmest person, but his knowledge is unbeatable. He knows an incredible amount of information on my condition and really stays on top of up and coming medications and treatments. He has been my Neurologist for more than 20 years, and I won't go anywhere else. I have tried other neurologists, but none have come anywhere close to his level of knowledge on my condition.
