If you are looking for a more talented, more up-to-date shoulder Doc then you are wasting your time. Dr. Hiraha performed a state of the art SCR procedure on my left shoulder 2 years ago when other Doc's said it was inoperable. Result, I have a perfectly functioning Left shoulder and arm with zero pain. Look up SCR and Google Dr. Hirahara and behold. You can thank me later.

Dr. Hirahara performed a massive rotator cuff tear repair with a speed bridge technique and ac separation surgery with the dogbone procedure in one operation. His office staff is helpful and friendly. He is short and frank in his discussions in his office visits as I’ve found in my experience Surgeons to be, and he does great work. He sends his patients to Results PT for physical therapy and they work very closely together unlike what I’ve ever experienced. The PT timeline is aggressive and more stringent than what I’ve researched prior to surgery. Results PT staff will definitely push you in your progress which is good. I was off all narcotic meds after day 3 including the day of surgery. I’m 5 weeks post op as I write this now and so far so good. I’m out of my sling most of the time now and will be 100% out in another week. Dr.hirahara is great nice guy seems to know A lot about his area of expertise. How ever your front desk assistant heather is extremely rude and is very difficult to communicate with. She also has a terrible attitude. I have called at least five times trying to get a call back. I recommend you try someone who is professional enough to hire front desk people that represent the care and time you put into your work and surgeries. I am 25 what 25 year old writes a review like this unless he or she truly feel wronged. I hope you understand It’s nothing personal. front desk assistants should have some type of customer service skills at least some the level of disrespect was ridiculous. I have been going to Dr. Hirahara for over 10 years and he is amazing! He has performed three perfect surgeries on my knee and he is cutting edge. I have heard his name praised all over Sacramento and I have sent several friends to him with much success. His receptionist Holly has been with him the whole time is also very good. Dr. Hirahara’s days are extremely busy but she handles the patients with welcoming efficiency. I will be going to him as long as I can and so will everyone I know that has been lucky enough to be his patient. I have been going to Dr. Hirahara for over 10 years and he is amazing! Recommended by th only doctor i trust, Dr. Hirahara performed rotator cuff surgery on one shoulder about 5 years ago Some one has yet to point to any kind of flaw.
