Dr. Alain C J De Lotbiniere

To start the Dr greeted us directly in the waiting room. The most pleasant down to earth Dr ever Gave a full exam. Looked at my MRI results and gave me three possible treatments The fist two were only temporary fixes, plus my current was medication (which eventually will not work) The last option was surgery. He thought that was the best option for me. I was NEVER pushed to do anything from him. He has done over a thousand of these surgeries with 99.9% successful. Within two days I called him and went for the surgery. I’m now 6 weeks post op. I’m no longer on the meds and doing Outstanding!! This Dr IS a Top Gun surgeon!!! Plus he has a great personality and makes you feel at ease I can’t say enough good he’s off the charts as being the best of the best !!!

He left me paralyzed and incontinent. He's too old to be operating and was 69 years old when he performed a somewhat routine operation on me with catastrophic results. Unfortunately, I am not the only one whom he's paralyzed. My life has been altered irrevocably as I am now forced to wear Depends and cannot leave the house without fear of an accident. It has been a year and a half and I'm still struggling to regain use of my arms. Think twice. And then think again. I certainly wish I had.

Bedside manor is above reproach. He fights for his patients. I was to have surgery and the insurance company was dragging its feet and Dr. Delotbiniere personally got on the phone with the highest ranking medical person at Aetna and fixed it. In less then a year my scars have faded to almost nothing. I have recommended him to any and all that listen.

Gamma knife surgery performed for trigeminal neuralgia...relief. Very pleased with results for an extremely painful condition for which medication had to be increased over 5 years with ultimate side effects.

Due to a traumatic brachial plexus injury, I was in constant severe pain. Medication had almost no affect (600mg/day). I am now 100% pain free, thanks to the DREZ procedure done by Dr. deLotbiniere.

I met with Dr. de LOTBINIERE about 2 weeks ago and we decided on the Micro Vascular Decompression surgery for my Trigeminal Neuralgia. The pain was so severe I couldn't eat, drink or talk. Dr. de LOTBINIERE saw what terrible pain I was in and moved up the surgery by 4 weeks. The surgery was a success and I have my life back. The only thing that exceeds Dr. de LOTBINIERE'S compassion is his surgical skills. HIs office staff, especially his secretary, Bonnie, are wonderful. He is the best.

It sad that my daughter is suffering in pain and we can't see Dr. De Lotbiniere because he doesn't accept her insurance . I have read so many great things and how people are now living pain free while she cries herself to sleep every night :'(

I suffered Trigeminal Neuralgia for 10 years until insurance decided to pay for my surgery. I was 57 in that time (2010.) and my first intention was Gama Knife, but Dr. deLotbiniere adviced me (since I was in excellent shape) to go to MVD! Surgery and three days in hospital were an excellent experience, and since then, I live my life in full, without any problems... Dr. deLotbinière is a great person, and his optimism helped me to make a decision and I am grateful for that. Thank you...

Dr. d Lotbinière is amazing, he cured my daughter of Trigeminal Neuralgia, gave her life back when other ‘Specialists’/famous medical centers couldn’t.. Her MRIs showed no vessels near the nerve so not a candidate for MVD. Years of suffering and cyberknife radiation before we found Dr. d Lotbinière Dec ‘16. He viewed the images and saw they were low resolution! A new MRI showed an artery in contact with the nerve stimulating it w/ each heartbeat.! He operated Feb’17, and she is cured of TN 1&2!!

I had the unfortunate experience of having my 1st back surgery with Dr. deLotbinere. My last visit with this surgeon I was told I’m “THE PRINCESS & THE PEA” because I still wasn’t feeling well. Since then I’ve had 5 other back surgeries to “fix” the first one. Everyone has different experiences with drs. Since then I’ve been to NYC specialist which I wish I’d had done it day 1. Im only in my 40’s and I can’t do many activities that I used too. I hope this helps.

I took my Mom to Dr. deLotbiniere for a neck pain consult. Dr. deLotbiniere is competent, experienced, knowledgeable, confident, and generous with his time. He listens to the patient. He does an exam. And most of all, he's friendly, outgoing and generous of spirit. To be perfectly honest, you end up walking out almost WANTING to have surgery just to have the experience of being treated by him. I'd add that my Mom is 94 y/o and he was extremely compassionate and considerate of her.

Dr. deLotbiniere cured me of the debilitating headaches that I had been dealing with for 7 years. The level of care he provides is second to none. He puts patient care before money. The facility is clean and the staff courteous. When choosing a facility for my surgery he looked at what would be most convenient for me not him. Dr. deLotbiniere is always thinking about what is best for the patient. I can't recommend him enough or thank him enough for giving me my life back.

Dr. de Lotbiniere is the best doctor I have ever met. His bed side matter is incredible. He told me exactly what to expect . The good and bad. I appreciated his honesty. I can honestly say Dr. de Lotbiniere saved my life. I went to many specialist in the best Hospitals. I even did over night trips trying to find relief. I suffer from CRPS. If you have this . You know how bad it can get. Dr. de Lotbiniere is at the top of his game. I wish all doctors could be like him. Pure Dedication.

We were not impressed. It was obvious the dr had more important things to do than meet with us. His advice was out dated and old school
