Our immigration exam went well. I see lot of negative reviews so I was worried. We had all our vaccines in advance, we just had to have TB test and STI screening. Unfortunately these would cost money as the doctor won’t bill insurance as this is not covered, I called other clinics and they said same. I would recommend to look at the forms and have all vaccines before you go for immigration exam, this will save money and time, I think this is where lot of people are not happy but unfortunately doctor can’t do anything without vaccines. Anyone can get vaccine at PCP office mostly free or get at county health centers, I am guessing they are free as well with most county health centers Our immigration exam went well. Dr Patel is a great doctor. A little too blunt at times, he does not sugar coat things & he does schedule follow up visits, but it’s not for no reason. A follow up is to assure you get the care you need. My previous doctor dismissed my concerns, Dr Patel has improved my mental and also my physical health in 3 visits. He’s been our family doctor for a few years now, and has been wonderful with both of my parents, as well as myself. Great staff, always very friendly and welcoming! If you’re having health issues I recommend Dr Patel; my father went to the same doctor for 7+ years and complained multiple times. After seeing Dr Patel once, he discovered my dad needed a double hip replacement. Just ask for Leah to draw your blood/give shots ???? Dr Patel is a great doctor. My pcp retired and I went to Dr. Patel looking for a new family doctor. He was horribly rude. Had no interest in listening to my issues and was aggravated when I tried to ask a simple question about my thyroid prescription I’ve been on for years that he insisted on changing. If I could give him zero stars I would. This man is the worst health care provider. He treated my dad years ago, and my sister, who is a nurse, would accompany him. As long as you go along with whatever he says, you are fine. But ask a question, especially as a female, and you are treated like trash. Fast forward to today, and a close friend was seeing him. She asked a simple question about her lab work...and he told her she needed to get another doctor. She had medications that were going to run out in 4 days and he told her thats her problem, find another doctor. I don’t know what the heck is going on that this man is still able to practice medicine, but beware. He doesn’t care about you or your medical needs. He is a very good doctor! also he never rips off people’s money. its his duty to be sure to care about patients and he does his job great.

Thank you for helping my husband with our immigration exam. To anyone considering going here, take the reviews with a grain of salt. I have no clue why he has so many bad reviews. He was prompt, helpful, and kind to my husband.

Needing a medical exam for immigration? READ READ READ the reviews!! Listen to these people. My husband and I just left his office. So far we've paid over $1000 and still no papers. Do your research and do not fall for the scams.

My fiancé just had an appointment and was treated extremely poor by thIs physician, who repeatedly stated “do you want to die” because of his high blood pressure. Highly Unprofessional and rude staff. He is very greedy and threat people. He ripped off my husband with more than 500$. Well, I want to start from here. My husband visited him for immigration exam. He charged him 425$ for an exam and then he said he does not take insurance. He charged 500$ for insurance and refused to give codes so that we can claim to insurance company. HE Told my husband that if you want your papers just do whatever I say. He did not give any vaccination, did not even check heart beat. Just charged money and sent him to quest lab and then told him you are clear . Come after 3-5 days for picking up your exam result. I later found that he billed to my insurance which I never asked for. He gave me vaccination and charged extra money and billed to insurance company as well. Great Dr, has been my family Dr for years

Good doctor. Can be a little rough around the edges but really cares about his patients. Highly recommend him!

He is direct and blunt. And that kind of attitude rubs people the wrong way. But I found that he really cares about his patients and requests the follow ups so that he can treat your issues. Once he has your issues under control, the followups become less frequent. My previous doctor couldn't have cared less about my health.

Dr Patel is a very goood doctor and no he doesnt push pain pills but if u want a doctor to help u he is the one if he cannt do it he will send u to tje one who can and he cares about your health yes hes hard to understand but he knowes what hes doing

May be very direct, which may come off as rude, but I like him. He really cares about his patients. If you're looking for someone to coddle you and give you pity look for someone else.

This review of 5 stars is bogus. First of all I want to make clear that I don't care about pain medication although when I went in I was in pain. I did not ask for pain medication. I did ask for a referral to a neurosurgeon, blood pressure medication and thyroid medication. I have a herniated disc and have been through this before and at 52 years old I know my body better than he does. I was taken off guard by his accusations of trying to get pain medication, I couldn't speak to him because he kept talking over me. I wasn't given information I needed, what was my blood pressure. That's what I needed to know. The response was they will not give me that information until i come for my follow up. He has my history of records for BP and thyroid. His treatment of me was rude and unacceptable. It's the money, he wants that follow up appt. He's not getting it. Will call an ambulance and file a complaint. This review of 5 stars is bogus. Rude Rude Rude and not a bit of compassion and comes in the room and sits at the computer and starts clicking and refilling your medicine and never ask how you are doing and spends 2-3mins with a patient and why you are waiting for him you can hear him in the other rooms being rude to them this will be my last time going this month.

I recommend this doctor to no one. He is rude condescending and disrespectful towards his patientsHe took my 84 year old mother off of her blood thinners knowing that she has a history of blood clotsTwo weeks to the day she was in the hospital With blood clots in both legs and in both lungs. I even told him she had a history of blood clots. I was told it didn't matter.

I only went to this doctor because of my father. I am still debating if I want to keep him.
