Dr. Ajay Kumar Nangia

I had a very large kidney stone and Dr Naggia took care of me. Excellent bedside manner. He was very warm, concerned and kind.

Dr. Nangia's medical knowledge and attention to me identified my prostate cancer early enough to have a good outcome. I have the whole rest of my life to be grateful.

Dr Nangia is the most real Down to Earth doctor I’ve ever met.

I would literally give no stars if I could. I was referred to this provider for further testing on my fertility. The provider acted like I was an annoyance to him and told me to take some vitamins and basically I was a lost cause. Yeah avoid this dude at all cost.

Procedure went well, Dr. Nangia was nice, but I must warn people of my experience of the billing department. I paid for the procedure in full, out of pocket, immediately after my procedure. A month later I received a bill for $140. I called, and after waiting on hold for 30 minutes, and having someone in billing argue with me for thirty minutes, the instructed that Dr. Nangia's office sent over the wrong paperwork and that I didn't owe anything. The next month, a bill came for over $200 for the same procedure. Same conversation, same argument, same result. The billing department agreed that I owed $0 and that the wrong paperwork had been sent over by Nangia's office. The next month, a bill for $400. The next month, a bill for $800! The same conversation each time. This month, I received a letter from a collections agency for a new amount of $700 but for this same procedure. I called the billing office again, and they said the same thing... The doctors office sent the wrong paperwork. I've spent about 12 hours on hold and having countless employees from KU Med Center argue with me and tell me I was wrong, only to eventually agree that the error was on their end, and never apologize for their argument. Dr. Nangia and the KU Staff were nothing short of amazing. I couldn't recommend them more. Dr. Nangia is a doctor that truly cares about his patients and it shows. There is a reason he is top rated and within 5 minutes of meeting him it showed.

He made a quick diagnosis and scheduled the recommended procedure in a very timely manner & even moved it up when it was interfering with additional timelines my wife and I had. They were expecting me when I showed up. However, they didn’t have a clue why I was there. I had to redisclose everything to them. I also had to log on to my medical records because he didn’t have the proper information in his records to assess me? He said. I showed him everything, got him everything he needed, was sent in for a lab test and was told that lab result would be done in 5 days. So at the 5 day mark I called to get my results. All day they told me lies. “Oh the doctor will call you” “He has surgery all day tomorrow” “he writes a letter and mails the results”. So I wait another full 5 business days so that’s actually a total of 14 regular days and 10 business days I have been waiting and trying to get results. I called today only to be told “well we usually wait two weeks to write the letter and then send it out. I said “it has been two weeks!” She said “well let me see if the letter has even been written”. The returns with “well we don’t even have a letter written yet so I will be in contact with him and let him know you are “VERY EAGER” to get your results.” Someone tell me why I am to be explained as “very eager” when I have done nothing but follow their advice and timeline to get results. This place it worse that going to a free clinic next to a crack house. I’m not exaggerating. 1 simple lab test, 14 days later, and I’m being made a mockery of by the doctors admin assistant Danielle. So Dr. Nangia, and Danielle I will stop being so eager and patiently wait for you all to stop lying to me and do your jobs. They were expecting me when I showed up. Dr. Nangia has been one of the best physicians I have gone to.

Dr. Nangia performed a vasectomy reversal on my husband. I had a positive pregnancy test within 6 weeks. He was very kind and helpful. I highly recommend him.

Worst service I have ever had when I comes to billing. Time of service I told them I will pay all up front three months later I get a bill. Will not use this doctor again.

I went to get snip and clip. This was the most horrifying thing i have done in mylife. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed. It took 15 min to do the procedure. I would recommend him to anyone that is going for this operation. Just remember you will be in pain after. Good luck.

I would recommend this surgeon to family and friends. He has a great bedside manner and is a superb surgeon.

Dr. Nangia handled my case with extreme caution- I am a Punter in the NFL for the Kansas City Chiefs. I had a very limited window on when this procedure could be done, in my opinion he performed it perfectly I never missed a practice or workout session.

Dr. Nangia saw my son for a suspected testicular torsion. It was a scary situation. We were able to get an appointment quickly. Dr. Nangia took the time to examine my son and explain the biology of what was possibly happening. He urged us to contact him right away if he felt any changes, and he would make himself available for emergency surgery. Thankfully, we didn't need the surgery, but I felt we were in good hands had that happened. Very caring doctor.
