When diagnosed with wet macular degeneration and you're informed that the best treatment, initially, is to receive injections directly into the eye, fear consumes a person. Such was my concern, as I had gone to a reputable clinic and experienced the "little pinch" monthly. Family circumstances changed and I investigated and located Dr. Tarabishy. Not only is he brilliant, but very concerned, and let me say that in his care, I experienced no pain, no pinch, no discomfort. His staff takes the time to numb the eyes with drops. As expected, only blurred vision for a few hours after the injections. Should you need treatment for your retina, let me highly recommend Dr. Ahmad Tarabishy. He's the best there is.

Dr. Tarabishy is a five-star retinologist working alongside a five-star staff. All are passionate professionals providing excellent treatment coupled with compassion. Look forward to my pain-free, monthly treatment. Very highly recommended.

The staff was caring professional.The Doctor was amazingly caring explain every process. And reffred me to a cornea Doctor .They called to schedule my Follow up too.Great place!!

I called on Sunday due to an emergency with my left eye. In less than five minutes doctor Dunn called me back. He patiently heard the description of my situation, asked some questions and proceeded to give an appointment early on Monday. Office personnel were caring, thorough and prompt with their service. My first visit and what a great experience !! Dr. Tarabishy was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. The same for the entire staff too ! Being a medical professional myself, this practice is textbook perfect. I recommend it highly !

Dr. Tarabishay went out of his way to take care of me. He drove over from working in Lakeland to see me after being diagnosed with a retinal detachment from my Newsome Eye doctor (Dr. Fazio). He and his staff were caring, honest and took great care of me. He explained all my options thoroughly and I couldn’t be happier with his care.

Over 3 years ago, Dr Taribishy took me on an emergency basis and saw me within 24 hrs for an Ocular Occlusion. He put me through a battery of tests and then explained to us exactly what happened and the best treatment which was monthly retinal injections. I was terrified at first; however, his demeanor helped me calm during the injections. Actually, it is easier than getting blood taken! He has also treated me for Iritis and I am glad he was around to help me get through that painful experience. An outstanding Doctor!

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Tarabishy! I had emergency surgery same day and he and his staff were wonderful!

This doctor is incredible. Very helpful, explains things well and in light of a very scary ordeal guided us through it perfectly. My husband had to have emergency retinal surgery and I wouldn’t have another doctor do it. I truly believe he saved my husband’s eyesight. We were recommended to him after an emergency occurred and he handled it immediately. Even during this Covid business. Very impressive doctor!

Great friendly staff, reasonable waiting time & knowledgeable Dr.

I am so glad I got to meet Tarabishy. He is so knowledgeable and cutting edge. I have my eyes back because he recognized and resolved all my problems. His entire team are fun and professional. Tarabishy is smart and fun as well. I can't think of a better way to better eyes than this!!

Dr. Ahmad Tarabishy, in a nutshell, saved my vision. Two years into continued treatment I am enjoying remarkable success. This man has a gift and a true desire in achieving the best outcome for his patient. So grateful to have Ahmad Tarabishy in my life. The best retinal surgeon!

The staff was very professional, friendly and organized. Dr. Tara was very thorough and informative.

Dr. Taribishy is a gentle and informative doctor. He is highly recommended. His staff are all great and understanding. Our driver was late in picking us up so Star, the general manager stayed with us until our driver came. In fact she said she would take us home if the driver didn't come. We were thankful that the driver was late as a UPS delivery of medicine came while we were waiting. Can you imagine what might have happened to that medicine if no-one was there to receive it!!!

MY EXPERIENCE WAS POOR. I NEEDED EMERGENCY SURGERY ON MY RIGHT EYE AS I COULD NO LONGER SEE. THEY SCHEDULED ME FOR EMERGENCY SURGERY - HIS OFFICE MANAGER EXPECTED ME TO HAVE THE SURGERY AND THEN DRIVE TO LAKELAND THE NEXT DAY SO THAT HE CAN DO HIS FOLLOW UP VISIT - THEY SCHEDULED ME AT THE HOSPITAL FOR SURGERY AND ON THE DAY OF THE SURGERY CALL ME TO TELL ME I HAVE TO WAIT FIVE DAYS UNTIL THEY RESCHEDULE ME AGAIN FOR SURGERY IN A SURGICAL CENTER BECAUSE NOONE GO TTHE AUTHORIZATION I NEEDED TO HAVE MY SURGERY IN THE HOSPITAL . THEN WHEN I FINALLY HAVE THE SURGERY I WAKE UP DURING MY SURGERY - AND THEN I WAS EXPECTED TO GO TO HIS OFFICE ON THE SAME DAY AS THE SURGERY HE SHINES THIS BRIGHT LIGHT INTO MY EYE MIND YOU MY SURGERY WAS AT 7 AM AND HES SHINING THIS BRIGHT LIGHT IN MY EYE CAUSING ME MIGRAINES HE THEN SENDS ME OUT OF HIS OFFICE WITH MY EYELID COMPLETELY DROPPED NOTHING TO COVER MY EYES WITH NO SHADES TO PROTECT MY EYES NOTHING AND HIS OFFICE MANAGER ALSO DID NOTHING ! HORRIBLE !

Every time I visit Dr. Tarabishy I am more impressed with his knowledge and concern for his patients. I would highly recommend he and his as associates.

I had much difficulty getting an opportunity to ask detailed questions to Dr Tarabishy and was told by his staff that if I had to ask questions, they would put me in the waiting room for hours because I was holding up other appointments, even though I politely asked at previous visits to speak with him more than the 2 min he normally gives a patient. He also prescribes a course of treatment without telling you what medicines he uses, whether he is using silicone needles, etc. Can't recommend.

Excellent retinal specialist with enough personality to connect with his patients. Sometimes the wait times were a little long, but, because of the nature of retinal emergencies, anybody who was waiting understood. He and his staff are respectful, caring and top notch... Highly recommended when it comes to retinal problems.

I found out in late 2016 that I had a macular hole in my retina. I went to one doctor who made me feel anxious and uncertain. I researched and found Dr Tarabishy. His direct and honest approach reassured me and he is up to date on the latest methods, which don't necessarily require patients to stay 'head down' after the operation for days/weeks. I didn't have to do that and the hole was repaired. The office staff are very kind/considerate. Highly recommend him for retina issues.

I went to my eye doctor who diagnosed a torn retina at 1 in the afternoon. By 5, I had an appointment with Dr Tarabishy, examined and had laser surgery to fix the problem. Great staff and Wonderful service!! I would give more than 5 stars if I could

I went to dr tarabishy after 2.5 years of not seeing right he pinpointed the issue which was very rare and took action right away my vision is now improving and I will recommend him to anyone that needs a retina specialist I'm very happy with the results he and his staff are very helpful and knowledgeable I am so happy I went there
