Very polite office staff, dr is a great listener and cares about his patients. Wait time is minimal and appointments are readily available

Dr. Shandling is a very kind and dedicated physician. He has really helped me get my AFib under control. For several years after my condition was diagnosed, I was seeing another cardiologist, who just kept telling everything was fine even though my AFib would randomly flare up. My sister insisted that I see Dr. Shandling for a second opinion. I'm so glad I listened to her. Dr. Shandling didn't give up on me. He tried different approaches and eventually we got my heart rhythm back to normal.

He listened to all my concerns and asked many questions. Then he performed a thorough physical assessment. He gave me a sample of a medication to try, as a diagnostic tool and ordered more tests. I feel confident he will be able to help me, once he has all the results from the tests.

Excellent caring, professional caring provider. I have recommended him and will continue to do so, his nurse, Debra, and the entire staff is outstanding!

Dr. Shandling’s office is professional and comforting. His office staff is kind and patient and positive in their interactions with patients. Dr. Shandling is a good listener. During my visit, he asked follow up questions, remembered specific details I shared, and expressed sincere concern for my well being. I did not feel rushed or dismissed. Instead, I felt valued, respected, and understood. Dr. Shandling is a great doctor, but he is also a great human being.

I've been going to him ever since we moved here from Ohio in 2013. Somebody told me to go to Los Alamitos to search for doctors. His name came up as an excellent doctor and he hasn't disappointed me in that respect. I would recommend him to anyone who asked me if I knew a great cardiologist.

Great doctor

Met Dr. Shandling for the first time. He spent almost 45 minutes with me, going through my history, explaining quite a few things, answering my questions, etc. I did not feel rushed at any point during the consultation. He is only one of 2 doctors I've been to that has spent this much time on an initial meet. It feels so refreshing to be treated with care.

So many times doctors send you out for tests and then you have to wait for them to get the results and then you schedule an another appointment to find out the results. This is not the case with Dr. Shandling. I recently had a stress/treadmill exam and he was personally standing there watching the monitor, checking my blood pressure, and asking me how I was doing. I received immediate feedback. I have been seeing him for a few years now and I highly recommend him. I couldn’t imagine getting better cardio care.

Very refreshing to have the doctor personally take your medical history and conduct the initial interview. Really helps to get the doctor/patient ball rolling. Staff was very pleasant and helpful Highly recommend Dr Shandling

Adrian Shandling is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had.He takes an interest in you as a patient,answers all your questions and prescribes the best medication. I am blessed to have have such a great doctor. I just can’t say enough good things about him. I hope to have him for the rest of my life.

Dr. Shandling is an outstanding doctor! He has cared for our family for over 25 years. He is proactive and makes excellent decisions for his patients. He is a specialist in cardiology, but our experience is that he doesn't just treat the heart, he looks and treats the entire individual. He has our highest recommendation!
