Dr. Mencias was extremely engaging and empathetic. His bedside manner is courteous, compassionate and professional. I appreciated the time he took to ask me questions and explain my condition. Highly recommend his care!

Went in thinking I would be scheduling hand surgery and came out learning results could be achieved with therapy. Was very impressed with him and time he took to explain things.

Yesterday I had a PRP procedure. The nurse made 9 unsuccessful attempts to draw my blood then Dr Mencias got it done. I asked him if the procedure would be painful, he said No. In actuality it was more painful than when I was shot in the back in VietNam. He deliberately lied! I would never trust his words!

Dr Mencias has been absolutely fantastic treating my hands and arms post car accident. He has done everything he could to help them non-surgically first, he is caring, compassionate, listens so well to my concerns. When he finally determined I needed surgery on both my arms, the procedures both went perfectly. I cannot recommend him, Joann, and his nursing staff (plus OT at SB Ortho), enough!!! Highly recommend, you will be in excellent hands!!

Dr Mencias did a wonderful job on repairing my fractured wrist after an automobile accident. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Mencias did my carpel tunnel surgery and cubital tunnel surgery yesterday. The only time I saw him was two weeks ago in his office. He did not talk to me about anything before surgery he came in and put a big "X" on my right arm and that was it. I just don't think it is to much to come in say hi ask if I have any questions or worries. As far everyone else at allied surgery center they were amazing especially my post op nurse Angie.
