Dr. Adel Mehanny Bichir

Dr. Bichir has been my kids doctor until they was 18 and is now my grandbabies doctor, I can not put into words how great of a doctor he is, he leaves his phone on all hours of the night and is there for you day or night. The best pediatrician around.

Absolutely amazing Pediatrician and Staff. We recently relocated after not having a pediatrician who will take their time and listen to concerns with my daughters brachial plexus injury and horners syndrome. Upon arrival I was very pleased with the atmosphere was the head friendly and staff were very inviting. The pediatrician himself was extremely knowledgeable about things that even I didn’t know and spent more than enough time in the room with us engaging with my daughter and examining her. We did our round of monthly shots and I left feeling very informed and comfortable for next months visit. Dr Birchir was amazing. Office staff was very rude. Would still be going there if not for the staff. My daughter had a lot of UTIs. They were supposed to send her sample to be cultured and never did on one occasion. But still billed for it. Their billing is very sporadic and not consistent which I found very frustrating when told I had a late bill that I never received! The office staff sometimes was amazing. But mostly they seem to have a really bad attitude over the last couple years that we went there, and hardly ever professional. Again Dr Birchir was amazing, And very attentive to his patients. He was the random pediatrician to see my son at Baptist Floyd. I remember he was a nice man and seemed competent. His office staff never billed my insurance for his two trips to see my son. I got a bill for "Baby Spalding" which I thought was a scam. I contacted his office eventually but his front office staff basically said tuff luck and wouldn't even allow me to speak to the doctor about the mishap. I offered to pay half the bill, but my portion would have been much less than that if they filed insurance. Nope, no contact, ever. Then I get a notice from GLA because they sent it to collection. I'm going to pay it but he'll get to have this review since he and his staff refused to take any share of the responsibility. He was the random pediatrician to see my son at Baptist Floyd. Dr. Bichir is fantastic! He is absolutely hands down the best! My kids love him and the staff! He is always available to answer questions or help us after hours. He truly cares about his patients and it shows.

The wait was terrible the staff is very slow and rude will not return !

Dr. Bechir is thorough, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The office is beautifully painted and they take great care of my children.

In five and a half years we have zero complaints. He personally answers the phone after hours. My son loves the nurses as they are always super sweet. We have never had a problem getting an appointment around the time we needed one. We have never had to wait more than a half an hour in the waiting room though it is usually faster than that. He is very open-minded on how you see fit to treat or medicate your child. He answers all questions and has never rushed us through an appointment. In five and a half years we have zero complaints. Dr Bichir is a wonderful doctor. He was great with my son. We took our son here for a year before we moved. He came highly recommended by some friends of ours. Easily the best pediatrician we have ever had.

Wonderful doctor highly recommend he came to the hospital at 7pm after he got off work to see my newborn, open Saturdays wonderful wonderful. Miss you Dr. Bichir and Staff we moved out of state but I highly recommend this doctor and his staff.

Dr Bicher is great! He’s so sweet and kind to the kids. He will answer the phone at any hour. If you see him outside the office he remembers your child and will say hello to them. His staff is very friendly and will assist you in any way. I love that he has an office in new Albany and Corydon. I’ve never had an issue trying to get in his office the same day. I've taken my boys to see Dr. Bichir since they were born, have one who is 6 and the other is 3! Dr. Bichir is a great doctor, his experience, welcoming manner, and wonderful team have helped us through some of the roughest times. Dr. Bichir is an incredible doctor and one that I would recommend to anyone looking for a pediatrician for their children He and his staff are always so easily accessible and do their best when a child is sick to get them scheduled in quickly. Dr. Bichir is very knowledgeable and caring with his patients and always answers every question. I wish there were more doctors like Dr. Bichir as he is truly an asset to his profession and our community. There aren't enough stars as he's simply the best!

Dr. Bichir is very down to earth and really makes the kids feel welcomed. I've always gotten in the same day with sick kiddos. Personally I like the more relaxed atmosphere.

We have been going here for six years. Thankfully our children are rarely sick but if we have needed a same day appointment they have been amazing for it. The staff has always been friendly and professional. Which is great especially when I have had my mommy freak out moments. I appreciate Dr. Bichir's down to earth approach.

He is simply the best. My husband went to Doctor Bichir when he was a baby, and now our 1 year old daughter has been going since she was born. I love how "there is no such thing as a stupid question", and he addresses your every concern. He is very gentle and sweet to the kidos, and the staff is just lovely. If your little one is sick, he will always get you in the same day, sometimes within the hour! He is great and has a lot of great experience. He is simply the best. He is an awesome doctor and his staff is super friendly. I have been going there for 2 1/2 years, since my first son was born, and do not have a single complaint! It's easy to get an appointment quickly. If you have a sick child they will get you in that day sometimes within the hour. They offer Saturday office visits, which is another big plus! Best of all, if he is not in the office calls goes straight to his cell phone. No matter what the question is or if its 2am he will call you back promptly. He is very good with my children and even plays with them. He actually listens to my concerns no matter silly they are and addresses each one.
