Very good doctor. Made sure we understood every step of the procedure.
Dr. Alkhas operated on my mom, an extensive and complicated procedure, with many potential risks involved. Being a healthcare professional myself, I have encountered many physicians, surgeons and other medical experts, and I can say that Dr. Alkhas is unique because he demonstrated exemplary mannerism, professionalism, empathy and patience. He was extremely sincere, knowledgeable and reassuring. As a child who treasures her parents, I felt so fortunate to have found him, because I could tell my mom found comfort in him, trusted him and her face would light up after he talked to her. I will forever be grateful to him for going above and beyond and for ensuring his patients received high quality care and were safe while under his care. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!

If you need a gynecological oncologist this is NOT your guy. He treated my sister for endometrial cancer. Every single procedure she was suppose to have while hospitalized was delayed. Instead of putting her on a surgery schedule day after day he put her as a “add on” till it got to the point that they couldn’t do anything. My sister didn’t only have cancer she has advanced MS. She was tied to a bed and restrained day after day. He could have called in hospice to sit with her it he left her alone. In those 18 days they were able to do two CT scans and that’s it. 18 days it took to do that! He told us we had time, he told us she couldn’t come home under any circumstances with a NG tube. He had the opportunity to use a peg tube instead but wouldn’t schedule the IR department. Never is a NG tube suppose to be left in that long. He sent my sister home with the NG tube and she died 36 hrs later. The entire time we had with her was trying to comfort her she was terrified of being restrained
