Was referred to Dr. Williams, and honestly I was tired of having to take my daughter to yet another allergist that was going to tell me the same dang thing. But, boy was I wrong. He was very upfront, I could tell off the bat he CARED ! He didn’t rush, he made sure all of my answers were answered, and I understood everything he was telling me. Dr. Adam Williams is a miracle worker! He prescribed the right inhaler and my persistent caugh of many, many years is gone!

Dr. Williams and his staff have been treating my seasonal allergies for years now. I have been extremely pleased with the service and results. This was my first experience with getting treatment and I'll never go anywhere else. I had a bad reaction early on to one of the shots, he noticed it while walking by the room I was in. Immediately jumped into action got me into a bed, got me started on some meds to counter the reaction and really took care of me. He was understanding and caring throughout the process. When I lost my insurance after COVID I was so relived that their pricing was affordable. I didn't want to stop treatment but was really worried I wouldn't be able to afford it. Dr Williams is amazing. He is very patient and kind. I've known him for many years as I have not only been a patient but have worked with him. I know first hand that he puts his patients first. I'm thankful that I have him to help me with my allergies.

Dr. Williams was very thorough with questions and listened intently. Genuinely caring. He did the allergy testing and made a diagnosis in which he prescribed medication for that has helped me immensely. I’m so happy I finally went to an allergist, and I’m so happy he was the one I went to! Thank you Dr. Purvis for recommending him!

I want to say how impressed I was by him today. He was kind, and humble. He clearly unpacked and understood my complaints with excellent communication and guidance. A combination of being smart and very personable and also not a bit pushy. Humble and kind. Thank you Dr. Williams!

I see all of these reviews about Dr. Williams being rude and arrogant, I completely disagree with these reviews. Dr. Williams took the time to listen to every one of my concerns and responded with respect and knowledge of my health issues. I would highly recommend him for anyone dealing with allergies or asthma.

This was my first visit with Dr. Williams. He took time to read the information I had brought in regarding my health history and focused on the questions and concerns I was seeing him for. I appreciated his intelligent, direct and logical approach. It was clear that he was very up to date on the information. At one point he went to his office and came back with two articles he had printed that addressed my situation. I left the appointment feeling heard and ready to move forward.

Called because I had a referall from my doctor and the doctor deemed me not a recipient to see him without even seeing me first and knowing my situation. Really irritating and rude when I'm trying to get to the bottom ofy allergy issues.

Dr. Williams put me on the defensive right away and asked why I was even there. As I started to explain, he interrupted me and I felt interrogated by his questions like I was doing something wrong. He dismissed me completely without even listening to what I really came to see him for...a full allergy panel to determine any food, preservative, and environmental allergies. He was arrogant and condescending. I left in tears and was so shocked at his behavior, I immediately let my PCP know as she was the one who referred me to him. Took my child for a cough. He said he would figure it out but gave up on the second visit.

I will start by saying that Adam was very professional and seems knowledgeable. My primary complaint is billing practices and cost. I had a new patient visit for a possible allergic reaction. The new patient visit was billed at $530 (contrast this to a new patient visit with a dermatologist that was just as thorough and helpful at $270). But my main complaint is that I was offered at my new patient visit to do a skin test where several injections are done on the forearm to check for a reaction. This was offered as a simple ad on to my current visit. I was shocked to receive a bill for an additional $1,120! Truly amazed that they would not discuss that this was such an expensive procedure. Dr. Williams listened to everything I had to say. He gave me useful information and made me feel much better about my situation. He was also very nice. I would definitely recommend going to see Dr. Williams!

I am surprised by the negative reviews. I really appreciated the time and effort Dr. Williams put in to try and figure out my issues with the visit I had with him. Most other doctor's I have seen here in Bend have just gotten me in and out quickly without taking the time to try and figure out what's going on. I have seen two different ENT specialists in Bend, with two different opinions. I figured I would try an allergy doctor and had better experience with Dr. Williams than I had with the prior two ENT specialists. Though my issues ended up not being allergy related, I really valued Dr. Williams time and effort to try and figure out what is going on. I highly recommend him. I went in and got tested for allergies and was told I don't have any. Still feeling terrible, I was sent to urgent care by his office. I asked to be tested for another drug but no response

Very disappointed in his lack of desire to keep current on literature, provide full scope care, and have a doctor to doctor discussion. As a provider, I don't know is always an honest and valid answer, but referring someone to Google, or simply stating I can't help you find answers and don't want to refer you or consult a specialist is not okay. When asked if he was an immunologist, he stated technically yes but if its anything outside of a runny nose or contact dermatitis that can't just be treated with allergy shots or antihistamines, I don't really do it. He was arrogant, had an opinion within minutes of entering the room without even discussing concerns, examining my rashes or pictures of hives, or med history, and instead collected a consult fee and stated to me I can't be helped. He suggested maybe just try to sleep outside and camp and try to avoid triggers. He really showed no empathy at all or professionalism. I have had hives and angioedema with throat swelling almost shut to an unknown indoor allergen, and his solution was go camping more often. Great staff and location to get you in and out for your allergy shots. Dr Williams is also a very good doctor and nice person to have overseeing allergy care.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Williams. I moved to Bend and while I had never experienced an allergy before, after 3 years with the Juniper, I was a mess. The sneezing, itchy eyes, dripping and the over the counter medication didn't really do anything with this degree of reaction. Dr. Williams, diagnosed me through a Tele-Medicine appointment and he was just fantastic...explained everything, knew what I was describing off the bat and tackled it with a 5-step easy plan. Cannot recommend him enough.

I agree with another reviewer... unbelievably arrogant and ill-informed, in addition to being obnoxiously condescending! But the real clincher... He said to me, with a totally straight face: " We don't have mold or dust mites in Central Oregon". :O Wha? BWAAAA HA HA HA!!!! ROTFL!!! Arrogant, opinionated, and ill-informed. This guy's biases and preconceptions don't allow him to greet you as a patient with fresh eyes. He's just another condescending Western male with an MD who thinks he knows everything, and too bad for you if you don't fit the very dated model he learned in med school 20 years ago. He formed an (off-base) opinion based on reading my chart for 10 seconds and not even bothering to speak with me about my symptoms--I truly couldn't believe it. And debated and argued with literally everything I statement I made about my health. Within 10 minutes, we were nearly yelling at each other. He then refused to consult with another specialist I see who is far his superior in knowledge and experience. It takes a lot of arrogance to get your degree from a nothing school in Oregon and then refuse to talk to someone who's a researcher at Stanford. But it's amazing how drs. here in the middle of nowhere assume they know more than people on the cutting edge of science. There are other practitioners these days who respect their patients' knowledge and experiences and don't demean them and treat them like idiots. I'd suggest you'd find one. We had our first visit with Dr. Williams today and was so impressed with the time he spent with my teenage son. Dr.Williams really connected with him. I appreciated that he took the time to learn about his long history of allergies, asthma, shots, medicine, etc. He helped come up with a plan I think my active son can follow while being realistic with my son on what he can expect.

It's important to me that my doctors understand the science behind their recommendations and diagnoses. Dr. Williams clearly does. In addition, he spends enough time to hear what you have to say, listens well, and gives excellent advice and feedback. His staff are equally competent and helpful.

Very friendly. Takes the time needed with patients. Very unusual in this day of production style, numbers driven medicine. He solved an issue that I have been dealing with my whole life and no doctor had yet solved. Would highly recommend. Great staff too.
