From start to finish I had a wonderful experience with preparing for cataract surgery, undergoing that surgery and with post op care and checks. The personnel in the office were professional and demonstrated care in the preparation and providing services afterward. Dr Friend was explicit in setting expectations, answering questions and the surgery went splendidly. The team in the surgical unit were also very professional and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Friend and his team.

an amazing experience from start to finish - very nice and pleasant staff - Dr Friend was caring, professional and gentle - I am thrilled with the result of my surgery (cataract) - his demeanor at the office and in surgery was very comforting; he was engaged in conversation and listened to questions and answered all questions - I would absolutely trust him with anything he advised - a total 10!

I am 60 years old and have been to my share of ophthalmologists. In my opinion Dr Friend truly the best in his field. He’s a different caliber of doctor hands down. Highly recommend him. His staff is great also

Dr Friend is a courteous, professional and experienced opthamologist, a Provider of excellent service. His courteous/ friendly office staff is a reflection of his practice. Dr. Friend recentlyperformed laser cataract surgery on both of my eyes and I am so happy and satisfied. It was uneventful and painless, even though I was very anxious about doing it. I made the right choice in choosing him and I have no reservation in recommending this excellent doctor to everyone.

Dr. Friend is an outstanding ophthalmologist. His examinations are thorough and precise. He explains procedures and conditions and patiently answers all questions. Dr. Friend’s “bedside manner” is very reassuring. He is very kind and makes me feel very comfortable.

The staff represents the overall expectations of how one is treated in the doctor’s office. I cringed that I originally had to spend time with some one at the desk who was obviously very sick. Their office manger was unprofessional and their billing department doesn’t communicate very well. I guess my appointment went ok even though I was supposed to feel better. They tried to sell me a medical procedure that was not covered by insurance but I settled for the first option covered by insurance

Dr Friend performed laser cateract surgery on both of my eyes. He is a wonderful surgeon with great skills. Prior to each surgery and during every annual visit he takes the time to go over everything. He always ensures that all of my questions and concerns are answered. But the real sign of my satisfaction is that I've sent my wife and brother to see him and they are now regular patients of his, and they are very happy with his services.

I had a great experience at this practice with Dr. Gunzburg. I also met with Dr. Friend initially and he was helpful.

What can I say, what a great staff always happy to help you and always with a pleasant smile. Dr. Adam Friend I am sure is the best opthamology surgeon in the country. He has done surgery on my mother and she is so happy with him. He has also done surgery on my one eye and will do surgery on my other eye in the next few days. He is so professional in what he does and very concerned about his patient. What else can I say about him and his staff, they are the best.

The only thing I can say is outstanding from start to finish. Dr. Friend answered all my questions and made me feel at ease about the whole procedure. The staff at his office and the Bergan laser center also were outstanding, Juan walked me thru a lot of the testing and was very professional and also outstanding in getting me thru all the necessary testing. In closing I would highly recommend Dr. Friend and his staff to anyone who might have any problem with their eyes. Thank You very pleased.

Dr. Friend is an exceptional doctor with great skill in diagnosing eye disease and preforming surgical procedures. He also takes time to inform his patients and make them comfortable. His staff is also friendly, helpful, professional and knowledgeable. I can definitely recommend Dr. Friend, his associates and staff.

Meeting Dr. Friend was a blessing. I trust him and highly recommend him. I felt like I was in good hands.

I am a long withstanding patient of the office of Dr. Friend and just recently I had cataract surgery of both my eyes. From beginning to end of the whole process I had an incredible experience. From the the professionalism in the office to the care and happy atmosphere in the surgical center I was completely relaxed and felt I was in the best hands possible. Everything was explained in detail and I was always treated as an individual not a number. I highly recommend this practice .

I did not know what to expect after surgery, It was amazing to me how clear & bright everything was!

Went for a second opinion. He was highly recommended and is a very nice doctor and a great staff, but unfortunately he missed the tumor that was growing in the orbit of my left eye. Two weeks later another doctor found it, removed it and turned out to be malignant. Ended up going to Sloan Kettering in NYC for treatment.

He is an expert in his field. He is very thorough, caring, and compassionate - making sure his patients get the best care for their eyes and their sight. He will answer any questions and spend the time necessary to make a patient feel comfortable.

Dr Friend is a true professional you are treated with respect and the best of care he spends the time to answer all of your questions. My experience was amazing I highly recommend Dr Friend and his staff for all of your eye care needs.

I wouldn't trust my eyes to any other Dr.
