My back issues were diagnosed with L5S1 disc problems and associated with back pain and lower leg discomfort. I was unable to walk less than a half mile and could no longer golf. I had a fusion of L5S1 in March 2019 and was walking up to two miles per day with no pain after 2-3 months , started golfing after 9 months. Dr Papavasiliou is very caring , spends time explaining and doesn’t rush to do surgery before exhausting other ways to relieve pain. I have recommended him to friends who have used him!

I was so happy to have been able to see Dr. Papavasiliou, as he came very highly recommended. I’m only a few days out of surgery, but so far, so good. I had been suffering from lower back pain that had become very excruciating over time. He was easy to talk to about my condition and very willing to help without delay. Thank you Dr. P.

Dr Papavasiliou has been treating me for 15 years for major lumbar and cervical issues. I was unable to walk and was falling constantly and he performored a decompressive laminectomy@ L4-L5 and results could not have been better. 2 years later is was having a similar problem in my neck which also needed immediate surgery. Dr. Papa performed a Disc fusion surgery which entailed removing diseased discs and using donated bone fragments to replace them and secure C4-C5 with a titanium plate. Procedure was an incredible success! I go on multiple long walks with my dog every day as well as lift weights 5 days a week. I completely owe my quality of life to Dr. Papavasliou !!!

When I explained the need for a light back brace, he said he didn't believe in them...that they were a crutch. That was over 2 yrs ago. My primary said he saw the need for one. Spinal Stenosis is moderate to severe. I just cancelled him today, Sept. 14, 2017, as my doctor.

Dr. Papavasiliou is an excellent surgeon and has a wonderful bedside manner. His PAC Keith is also great and very responsive to any concerns that I had/have pre- and post-surgery. I had my surgery 5 weeks ago and have felt so mush better, Previously I could not walk to the back of a grocery store without my Feet and calves being numb. Now, I am able to do so. I few days ago I had absolutely no pain in my back and legs, and now I still have some pain and weakness, but I am sure it will get better

Dr . Papavasiliou and his assistant, Keith were absolutely wonderful every step of the way. And the surgery was a great success!

He showed me my MRI and explained exactly what was wrong and suggested alternatives to treat it. The results of my choice of treatment has been successful.

I highly recommend Dr. Papavasiliou . After going to Chiropractic and PT, Dr. Papavasiliou knew exactly what my problem was after viewing my MRI. He made me feel at ease and confident that he could help me and HE DID. I am now pain free and able to do all the things I love doing. I feel I have my life back.

I had a fracture in the bottom vertebrae of my spine and Dr. Papavsilliou performed surgery on me and corrected it. I am very leased with my results and would recommend him highly. He was most competent and knowledgeable and explained in fine detail everything that he planned to do in advance of the surgical procedure.
