Dr. Abhijit Kulkarni

Dr. Kulkarni found the source of a problem that I had been having for years. He is very thorough, professional, explained things so I could understand them, and compassionate. I had to be admitted for pain control. He took the time to stop at the end of his long day to check on me.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Kulkarni for over 14 years. I would highly recommend him. He is extremely caring and thorough.

PITTSBURGH, PA AREA: I had to research and locate a gastroenterologist as I was restricted by insurance. This gentleman was professional, understanding, knowledgeable, and kind. He went out of his way to ease my concerns and respect my wishes. Would highly recommend and I have been a healthcare professional for many years.

During my recent office visit with Dr. Kulkarni I was very pleased with the amount of time and effort he invested in my appointment. I was very satisfied with the care and medical advice I received. Dr. Kulkarni discussed my medical issues and next steps, taking time between topics to make sure I clearly understood each matter of concern. He listened to each of my concerns and was able to provide answers to my questions. I would recommend Dr. Kulkarni to others.

Wonderful and caring physician. Was referred to him by my gastroenterologist who could not determine my issue. Extremely knowledgeable but explained things in a language I could understand. Took time to answer all questions and made sure my issues were addressed. Recommend him highly.

He's rude and does not listen to patients. He is not professional and runs out the room. He also makes really childish faces.

Dr. Kulkami made my whole experience at AGH so comfortable and assuring from the Emergency Room through the procedure he performed to my after-care and recovery and release. I am not a person who frequents doctors andS I was put at ease right away with Dr. Kulmarni. I do not have any apprehension or worries with the follow up procedure he has to do I know I am in the best hands of a wonderful doctor. Since I was just released from the hospital today, I can't answer the questions below.

Dr. Kulkarni is very nice and competent. Any procedures, test results, questions, and concerns take over 10 days to get a response. Staff does not return calls. I do not think Dr. Kulkarni is told that patients are calling or have concerns. When you are sick and having issues a return phone call and answers (no matter how insignificant to the staff) is appreciated. Scheduling is a nightmare.
