Dr. Abdullah M Yonan

I went back and forth between 2 and 3 stars. I’ve been to this office twice now and been seen once. I would rate the front office staff a solid zero. Two visits to the office and I’ve been berated to the point of feeling uncomfortable and anxious. I really didn’t even want to come back after the first time. It took me 2 mos to finally make the 2nd appointment. This time I was seen. Dr Yonan was abrupt, but they were also on time. I understand you can’t have it both ways, taking longer than needed in your appointment and also staying on schedule. I will say I felt confident about Dr. Yonan from this one visit. But again, more badgering and poor treatment from the front office when I tried to schedule my follow up. They are very arrogant, snippy, and belittling at the front desk. No communication skills at all. They sent me to Simon Med for an x-ray and my nerves are still jumpy. I wish there was a way to see Dr. Yonan but bypass the front staff. They make me not want to come back at all. So I’m left considering how attached am I to Dr. Yonan at this point? Maybe I should seek another, more polite office sooner than later so my discomfort with returning doesn’t interfere further with my care. On a side note, they couldn’t be nicer at the SimonMed.

Dr Yonan and Camille Conger are great. The problem is the front office staff. A medication was sent in for me that was well over $300. I called multiple times and left messages . Two weeks later I received a call back. When you go in the girls up front are more concerned about watching videos on their phones and discussing plans then they are about helping patients. It’s awful.

This is the best man, best doctor I have ever met.

This whole practice needs to be shut down. I was discharged before I got my first appt. They were annoyed that I called 3 times for medical advise. My referral didn't come in yet and they let me go. Well that was the only plus side.

Dr yonan helped me with my sleep apnea and kept checking on my as i wend through the process

I have never experienced such an unprofessional, rude person as Dr Yonan. I was admitted to the hospital after he asked me if I wanted to go. You’re the doctor you should know!! I was having shortness of breath, chest pain and hard to speak. This specialist told me to drive myself which I did and was very difficult not to mention, scary. During my 5 day stay, I seen Dr Yonan twice. First visit, he stood in the corner of my room picking at his fingernails and told me my problem was anxiety. Of course I’m anxious when I’m fighting to breath. Second and last visit, he didn’t listen to my lungs but told me to walk around the nurse station without any assistance. When I got back to my room, I was gasping for air. He told the nurse I can go home. When I asked what was wrong with me, his answer was, “you are psychosomatic”. When I asked him to clarify, he said “it’s in your head” and walked out. The nurse said she has never heard a doctor be that rude. I am reporting him to the board and also my insurance. He gives the medical field a bad name and I am paying him for the verbal abuse. Not ok and I went to him asking for help. It will never happen again from this inconsiderate person who took an oath to help any and all patients, be professional and treat each person in a caring manner Please do not put yourself in that situation. Bad news is, this man did not wash his hands in my presence either visit to my room or after picking his nails which have tons of bacteria. Where did he get a license????? Dr Yonan has been my Dr for about 15 yrs. He is very professional. You do not find DRs like him that listens and that cares for his patients like him.

I have been with Dr Yonan for five years as I journey down the scleroderma trail. Our first appt, he took both my hands in his hands and explained what I needed to know about the possibilities. He is so kind and caring. Never feel rushed. Pulmonary tests are done in the office and the technicians are wonderful in their explanations. I am in good hands.

What a horrible doctor. My mother was referred here by her primary doctor due to an xray of her lungs that needed to be addressed by a specialist - scarring of the lungs and collapsed sacs. When the Dr saw my mother he didn't even take the time to look over any of the files or paperwork and told her that she was fat, wasting his time and all she needed was to breathe deeper. Don't even waste your time seeing this pitiful excuse of a doctor. His ability to practice should be revoked, and we are contacting all avenues to let them know how horrible he is. I have been going to Dr. Yonan for 3 years & i would not go anywhere else,he is very conscientious,understanding ,respectful & above all-very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Yonan.

Dr Yonan is very knowledgeable, thorough and kind. He is never rushed and always answers all my concerns. I’m so fortunate to have him as my physician.

i saw this doctor for the first time today, i found him friendly, insightful and engaging. the best part was that he was willing to listen and at no point did i feel he was rushing me for time.

I was given a new medication and by day two I was choking on my cough. Within three days I've broken out in hives all over. I have called since the day after seeing him to speak to his Asst. (now five consecutive days), left messages and HAVEN'T RECEIVED A CALL BACK! Oh-the med cost $400 and isn't covered by ANY insurance!!! I'll never go back and am downing cough drops and Benadryl for the hives. Find an office that gives a darn!! I was given a new medication and by day two I was choking on my cough. Dr. Yonan is a wonderful pulmonologist! On my first visit, he thoroughly explained my condition and answered all of my questions. He put me at ease right away and left me feeling quite hopeful and that I was in good hands. I have never felt rushed or that he didn't have time for me. I highly recommend him to others!

Absolutely horrible. He made assumptions without even taking the time to get a detailed history. I will never go to him again nor will I recommend him to anyone. I will tell everyone to find someone else. There are better qualified doctors with a better bedside manner.

I will never go back there again he's very rude very arrogant and he does not listen I would not recommend him to anyone if he was a last doctor on this Earth

I was referred to Dr. Yonan after a visit to the Emergency Room. I was given three options as to the diagnosis by the Emergency Room doctors....pneumonia, Valley Fever, or that nasty word, malignancy. Needless to say, I was in a deep panic. Dr. Yonan put me at ease at our very first appointment; he took time with me as a patient, answered all my questions, and above all, reassured me. He is knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend him to anyone.

A true gentleman with a profound, confident, and professional approach to my needs. He is serious but not without an appropriate sense of humor. I rarely wait longer than a few minutes before being taken in for exam or visit. I have never felt that he is rushing the visit or giving me less time than I need for the visit. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a highly compitent pulmonary specialist.

Dr. Yonan was very pleasant, informative, knowledgeable and helpful during my visit today 7/27/16. I am very pleased with him as my pulmonology physician. I highly recommend him!
