The office manager is a nice lady

Poor follow through regarding my care, difficulty reaching a live person on the phone, does not keep scheduled appointment.

The Office Director/Manager Dr Omais wife is what make any office visit or telephone call unbelievably unprofessional. She is rude, impatient, aggressive, vindictive and unprofessional in every aspect of the terms. This behavior appears to be directed at black patients and staff only as far as I witness but maybe she is an equal opportunity monster. She interferes with patients treatment and prescriptions. Dr. Omais is great but the office manager is single handedly destroying his reputation and practice. Dr. Omais has been my pulmpnary doctor since 2009, ask a question and he is straight forward with his answer. And is doctor friendly, if it was'nt for Dr. Omais I would'nt be here today.

Dr OMAIS is very concerned about the wellbeing of his patients. He’s very nice & listens to all of my concerns & answers questions.

This was by far the quickest and easiest appointment I’ve had with Dr. Abbas A. Omais. 10 minute wait time. Dr. Omais is always very thorough with me asking and answering questions.

I was referred to Dr. Omais from my oncologist. My care required me to go to pre-op at UM Regional Hospital in La Plata. When I arrived, I sat for an hour awaiting my paperwork from Dr. Omais office to be faxed. It never arrived, therefore I had to rescheduled the pre-op. Initially I blamed the office staff only to find out that Dr. Omais had not signed the medical notes that required his signature before they could be faxed. Other than that, I'm very pleased with his professionalism and care.

I like Dr Omais he very though, tell you what going on, explain everything from your test to your office visit. His staff very friendly, office and waiting room are clean. Wonderful and nice people

I really like Dr. Omais. He pay close attention to everything I say and is very thorough in his questions. He seems genuinely interested in his field.

I've seen Dr. Omais for years, and I have always been more than satisfied with him both professionally and personally. I have nothing but good things to say about him. Yes, he is always busy and that means sometimes (not every time) a bit of waiting (15-20 minutes). HOWEVER, I am perfectly happy to wait for him as he is worth it! He returns tenfold as he ALWAYS takes the time to ACTIVELY LISTEN to me and my concerns. He has also taken the same great care for one of our neighbors! Thanks Dr O!

Visited the office 4/4/2016. A referral was needed and purportedly sent the same day, On 4/25 I called to follow-up; was told an employee left and all referrals were backlogged. The referral was purportedly sent. I spoke to Dr. Omais directly; he wasn't aware of the problem but committed to call me personally on 4/28 to provide an update. No call received. Called on 5/9 and 5/10 to follow-up. Another call promised. Still no feedback. This medical service is the epitome of absurd.
