My visit yesterday with Dr. Twigg was absolutely wonderful. He is so thorough and so very very polite and non-rushing. He was just great. You seem so relaxed and confident. He’s a keeper

I've been struggling with transient, acute lower back pain since 2018. Most of the time I have no pain, but once or twice a year I have extremely severe events that have significantly degraded my quality of life. After an initial and followup appointment with Dr. Twigg I feel like my concerns and issues were completely ignored. I was handed a single page printout with generic back exercises. I explained that I did over a year of physical therapy and pilates, and that my worst episode of pain and disability was immediately after that. Dr. Twigg has been very empathetic and responsive to my orthopedic issues (hip deterioration/replacement and neck back pain) . He provides very constructive guidance and clear and thorough information (MRI interpretation) on the sources of the problems. He's a very intelligent and lovely individual to work with and I can't recommend him more highly!

I was referred to Dr. Twigg by my Orthopedic Doctor for hip pain. Dr. Twigg is the best! He really listens to you.

I have been seeing Dr Twigg for over 3 years and he has changed my life. The injections he does in my spine and back have given me my life back. He is amazing and his staff is great!

If you want steroid injections, this is the doctor to see. If you want other options, I would not recommend Dr. Twigg. He never gave me options and would not prescribe any pain relievers for me when the first one did little for me. I wasn't looking for opiates, just something else to relieve my back pain and arthritis. He told me he couldn't do anymore for me and gave me a list of other pain doctors to try. He actually did me a favor because now I have a wonderful, caring, pharmacologically knowledgeable pain doctor.

Dr Twigg worked me through a pain management process that was thoughtful and successful. It relieved me from pain for 6 months.

I have had stenosis of the spin and have been treated successfully. Appointments were set almost immediately and the Dr. Twigg and his staff were professional. My pain has been managed well over several years.

Very patient with my elderly father. He listens and carefully discusses treatment options. Dr. Twigg encourages lifestyle changes and exercises that are a long term solution, rather than rushing into recommending injections or pain medications. I would strongly recommend him to anyone.

I don't know what the irate poster is talking about. Dr. Twig is a good and compassionate Dr.

Apparently Dr. Twigg is able to give the injections safely, without hitting the nerves. Worked like a charm. Needed the injections two years later when I moved again. Still travel from West Virginia to see him when needed, he listens, asks questions, offers options and always fixes the problem. I have been a patient of Dr Twigg’s for many years, and all four of my children have seen him for sports injuries. Expert, efficient, and compassionate care. He prescribes the most conservative treatment that he can. I truly believe that his care has kept me out of the operating room. My children were back to their activities, with physical therapy, and above all, the correct diagnosis. I have been an RN for 35 years and cannot recommend Dr Twigg highly enough.

Had the pleasure of meeting Dr.Twigg and his staff the other day. Staff was great and made me feel at ease. Dr. Twigg did a great job making sure I knew what the issue was and what he was going to do. I was nervous about a needle near my spine, they made me feel comfortable and relaxed and in the end the pain was minimal. All that worry for nothing. Injection helped some, I knew it might take 2-3 injections for my issue. I will be going back.

Dr. Twigg is amazing. He listens and genuinely cares about his patients. I injured my back years ago and he was my primary specialist that followed up with my care. I was grateful he was there to take care of me.

Please don't go to this doctor! He misdiagnosed me twice! The only reason I went to him to begin with was that I could get an appointment the same day - a big warning sign right there!

Dr. Twigg is kind and listens. I have seen him intermittently for nearly 5 years. If you want an alternative solution to surgery and an open mind, go see him for pain.

worst doctor I have ever experienced. has no compassion for the pain that his patients are in. do not go see this doctor if you're in pain because all he will do is give you a set of exercises to do instead you out the door
