This office is so welcoming. It’s obvious that Dr. L is passionate about what he does. He takes the time to answer questions and do his job thoroughly. We always have a good experience.

My eyes, my eyes… I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t do as bad as I thought. Skeptical at first, to go inside the clinic, but the helpful information and examination, eased my anxiety. I cannot wait to go and pick up my glasses!!!????????????

Great staff Good care

The optical staff is amazing but your receptionist Blanca, is not. I’ve come in a few times and have given the benefit of the doubt thinking she is having a rough day, (even though I’ve had only morning appointments) or I have been irritated and taking things personally….nope! She is just a grumpy person that secrets bad energy. Not the nicest person to see as the first face of this great health facility. She has also misinformed me twice so far on the few times I’ve came in. Not great phone etiquettecy as well. I would advise another cheerful and helpful person or do some serious coaching. I’ll drive to Fillmore to avoid her. The optical staff is amazing but your receptionist Blanca, is not. The ladies at the front desk where very on top of things and I was in and out with in 30 minutes.

I've been coming to this place since I was 8 years old. I'm 31 and bring my own children here now. Always a positive experience and friendly staff.

I have been going to Dr. Leukenga for years. He takes the time to explain all the tests and results in a way I can understand. He thoroughly investigates any concerns and treats accordingly including referral to specialists. I highly recommend him if you are looking for an eye doctor.

Had 8:30 appointment with Dr Morgan Ruiz. Great appointment Dr Morgan is very good at explaining procedures and testing. I never feel rushed with any questions I ask. Very thorough. Was helped by Lupe in selecting frames. Was accommodating in trying to help me in the selection of frames. She went over extras billing etc and once again I did not feel rushed. Excellent and professional service. The doctor is very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions, I did not feel rushed. The front desk staff is also great. Very good customer service.

First time ever getting my eyes checked up, got a lot of information and ended up ordering glasses. Very easy and fast process plus the staff are super friendly and makes the process so much better

My husband has unusual issues with his eyes. The doctor took the time to explain clearly why these issues exist (a stroke in one eye) and proceeded to spend the necessary time to address them.

Office presents well. Staff are efficient and friendly. Dr. Lukenega is pleasantly professional and clearly experienced. Has an excellent ‘bedside’ manner, is thorough, and someone in whom I have confidence. Appreciate his care. MD Sparkuhl, MD

This is my 3rd time to use this office. They are very thorough and helpful in choosing eye ware. All the staff is kind and professional and Dr. Leukeanga is so knowledgeable and does not rush through the exam. I highly recommend them.

Professional eye exam, great staff and a large selection of frames for a one-stop shop nestled right in the heart of Fillmore California. What a find!
