Extremely long wait time in a cold room with a hard plastic chair, closed door, and no body wrecking on me or reporting progress. Then he spent no more than 4 minutes with me, didn’t listen to my concerns, ordered a test that was not warranted, ordered physical therapy without an adequate diagnosis and made continued unwarranted references to my age.

Dr Kauhane left Straub & our whole family is disappointed, he is the best doctor we ever had. He is now with an urgent care clinic & rotates to each one. Wish he could still be our PCP! The doctor we were placed with is absolutely the worst :( looking for a good provider within our network.

On 2 separate occasions he prescribed the wrong medication for my conditions. For example he prescribed a Zpack for upper respiratory symptoms for my intestinal problems. The hospital emergencty room caught this error. My appointments were usually 2 hours late. He was friendly. Seems to listen to me, but after a few days calls me back in for another appointment to discuss issues, but why didn't he discuss with me the first time?

Dr. Kauhane is an exceptional doctor. He takes his time and listens to what the patient needs. He is a great exampke of how doctors ought to be. He is very caring, kind, and compassionate. His knowledge about holistic and integrative medicine is a plus, as well as his sensitivity to other cultures. I would highly recommend him to others.

Dr Kauhane is caring and kind. Always willing to help you in anyway..He always listens to your concerns and doesn’t make you feel like rushed or just another patient, he shows that he really cares about you.
