I had two Boston Scientific stimulators that failed for various reasons. I have the Nevro, placed by Dr. Colodny and it is amazing. My feet don't hurt anymore. I am hopefully returning to work soon and it has been wonderful for my physical well-being and my emotional well being. I have a life again. I can't believe it but it works without more pain. Go to Azalea Ortho! He is never on time, Precision Spine admin is a disgrace of a medical facility. No one calls you back, they don't do paperwork correctly, and you have to wait over time you scheduled for a doctor. I have had two injections by Dr Calodney, both took forever to schedule. In the past two months I have had two surgeries canceled because his office didn't do the correct referrals even when I called 4-5 days ahead of the surgery to remind them. It has cost my family hundreds of dollars of time off work because they are terrible at everything. If your insurance allows a different doctor go there. Go to Azalea Ortho! I have a question. When you’ve had injections, therapy, back surgery, stimulator and all that failed, now my next option is another four hour back surgery. Do you ever say mayb the patient needs a controlled dose in a pain pump verses another $100,000 back surgery. And I may add because my first surgery helped for two years now saying failed back surgery. I’m tired of surgery’s. I’ve undergone three foot surgery’s a full knee replacement and back surgery in two years. I don’t even want that. I need a answer. I can’t do another surgery not now. I’m only post op 5 months from knee replacement. Please help with my concern. I have a question. So sorry about the one star review folks, as you can imagine I managed to do Dr. Calodney justice but failed miserably with my stars. But folks his the best in all ways from the operation to the office visits. When I'm in THE LARGE waiting room I see so many happy faces. I sai in a very cold room for 3 hours. When he did come in it was to tell me he doesn’t prescribe pain medication. I saw him 6 years ago and he is the doctor who started me on pain medication including morphine for my multiple back fractures. He said all he would do is insert a spinal cord stimulator. I explained that the last spinal surgery I had left in in neuroICU for 21 days and 3 extra emergency back surgeries to stop the spinal fluid that was pouring from my surgery. My neurosurgeon recommendation that I not have further spinal surgery because of the dura being like a sieve. DrCalodney waved that aside And flat out refused me any other treatment. He said SCS or nothing. I declined and he said he would refer me to a pain management doctor for treatment of pain. A week later I finally after numerous calls received a call from the newly referred doctor. He does not order pain medication either. Should not Dr Calodney know who does and doesn’t offer pain medication? That would have been another $35 just to be told NO. I sai in a very cold room for 3 hours. Obviously if your problem is hair loss, you need to see another doctor, but, if you need neurotomy ( much longer relief than steroids injections) for lower back or neck pain, Dr. Calodney with >> 10,000 cases is the experienced guy you want to see. His group is “independent” of “UT-Heath” and those Mothers: Doctors are not pressured to refer to him and there is no “built in” referral system. It is great job and “word of mouth” that keeps him as busy as a chicken without a head. I saw Dr. Calodney for neurotomy ( much longer relief than steroids injection) of lower back. He is extremely experienced and has great manners.

I have been seeing Dr ArronCalodney for probably 20 years, and I think he is a fabulous doctor that always pays attention to my concerns. I will continue going back to receive his expertise of help. I have a lot of of admiration for this great doctor

I went to Dr calodney with MRI reports showing I have 4 herneated disc in my thoracic and had a 360° fusion at L5 S1 I live in pain every day the only thing he did for me was percribed me a tube cream that was for open wounds I didn't have any open wounds I'm no Dr by no means but that was a joke

Worst experience of my life! I waited over 2 hours to see Dr. Calodney and then saw him for less than 10 minutes. He was more concerned with talking to his scribe then talking to me. 3/4th of the time it was him talking to his scribe. He would not allow me to shut the door. It was stuffy but everyone could hear my business. He was rude, spoke over me, interrupted me, was mono tone the entire time, and did not seem to care at all. I have been in pain management over 3 years and moved here recently, only reason I came to this office. He told me that they do not prescribe pain medication there, that is not what they do there. Yet I had to pay for a urine test. Then I tried to explain to him that I have been on medication for over 3 years and could he at least give me withdrawal medication. It took me 5 times before he left me even finish my sentence. Then he proceeded to tell me withdrawal medicine I don't know what that is. Really??? Give me a break all doctors know what it is!!! Thank goodness for the doctor I transferred from who helped me get withdrawal medicine. They seriously thought this guy was in the wrong for what he did! He did not give one thought or concern for me and what I would be going through. He decided I did not have the condition two neurologist have said I have plus other specialists I have seen, all before even looking at my past doctor notes and imaging that was fax to them and put in my file. Yet he could do the same blocks I was getting at my last pain management doctor. Although. he doesn't think I have the condition so why approve the blocks makes no sense! No thanks on the blocks. If this is how you treat your patients I don't want to be your patient. I called and spoke to someone about my appointment and was treated once again without any care or concern about how I was treated in my appointment. I have never been treated so badly before! I will definitely let everyone I know so they will not be treated as if they do not matter. Worst experience of my life! These are fabulous Professionals. They don't get any better than this in Medicine.

I enjoyed my visit with Dr. Calodney. He was personable, very nice, & explained everything well. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The offices and restrooms were clean. I highly recommend Dr. Calodney.

I was referred to see Dr Calodney by 2 other physiciansAt first Dr Calodney was interested in my case. However once a spinal cord stimulator was implanted he lose interest in seeing me, even if I had a scheduled appointment. This last time I was told he didn’t need to come in, as the X-ray the PA ordered was fine. I had so many questions but he didn’t come in so he could address them. I suggest that anyone looking for a pain management doctor, choose someone else.

For the first time in several years I have no pain in my legs. Had to thank Dr. Calodney with a hug. He gave me back my quilting and other activities that were so missed. I thank him and the Lord for the pain relief.

Third visit this year for right knee. PRP in Dec, drain and cortisone shot in Feb, and another PRP today. Thought that was too much considering it was out of pocket and not covered by insurance. Doctor and nursing staff had good bed side manner and hospital was nice. No other issues besides aggravation of the needed multiple visits. Had PRP done in 2016 and it was successful for the next 12 months so I have a positive experience to compare this to.

He is excellent and I have recommended him to several people.

I am a BIG fan of Dr Calodney, he prescribed treatments that gave me back my life. My back was so bad when I first went to his office, and his procedures were right on my problem. I was able to walk without pain and could do things at home that I could not do before his care.

I was referred to Dr. Calodney by my pain doctor in Houston. Before meeting with him, my complicated case was reviewed by his PA and staff who attended me prior to seeing him. They were all very thorough and knowledgeable. My time with the doctor was very informative. He offered some great suggestions regarding treatment and medications. I went away with a really great feeling about my visit. I was given a personal contact to use for any questions I may have and she is wonderful! Great Doctor!

Been going to this doc for many years. At first was pleased, but past 3 years, he seems to be all about money & procedures they can do. I have a pump that has to be refilled every 3 months with morphine, had it 12 yrs, told them felt like it was no longer effective & want it removed, but, no, We can try a different med., can't take it out , you'll be in too much pain..,still on morphine.Treated me like an addict when I had to have pain meds for dental surgery. Every visit pee test-$300!

Went to see Dr. Calodney with lower back pain. He diagnosed me with Spondylosis and Spondylolisthesis. I had a total of 3 shots over a period of 2 months and I was back to my old self....Pun intended.

He is one of the most pleasant, knowledgable, professional, and caring physicians I go to. He can treat more than just one condition of severe pain. He takes his time with you especially if you have questions for him. When he performs procedures on you he hardly hurts you with his gentle touch and he always explains what he is going to do. He doesn't have you come in for useless visits. If it's something his PA can take care of, than you see one of them. If you need to see him though, you can.
