Dr. Aamir Hashmat

The Dr and staff are ok not super pleasant. However they have no respect for people's time my appointment was at 12:25 and finally got in to the Dr at 2:15pm if we all did this for our jobs we would be fired. They need to find a better away to get their patients in and out on time.

Place annoys me every time. They will not answer the phone so you are warned.

Had an appointment scheduled for a nerve conduction study but when I arrived they said they had no record.. talked to the office that had scheduled the appointment and when they called Dr Hashmats office they were told they didn’t log me into their computer. I was told I couldn’t be worked in and they were very rude about it. Sat for a couple of hours to see if they got another fax from my doctors office and they kept telling telling me no and they wouldn’t schedule appointments until the afternoon they were busy. He doesn’t listen to his patients. He makes up his mind what the answer is and totally disregards what the patient tells him they are experiencing.

I went with my husband after a referral from our primary doc. The wait was not long but the person who checked us in did not identify herself so we dont know if she was a nurse or not. She was sweet though. Then the doctor did not introduce himself to me or talk to me. While questioning my husband he answered a phone call and told the caller he would call back in two minutes, which let us know how much time he planned to spend with us. He was condescending to my husband and showed no interest in him as a person. He told us he saw no problems so I hope he is knowledgeable. But if there had been a problem we would have gone to another neurologist I went with my husband after a referral from our primary doc. Carried my elderly mother to Dr. Hashmat for nearly a year. While he is certainly a well qualified and capable physician, his demeanor and 'bed side manner' is very cold and condescending. However, the final straw was the lack of respect for his patient's time and customer service. Our final appointment was at 10:15. We arrived at 10:00 and waited for 2 hours before deciding to leave. He was very helpful. Took time to listen to my background information about my migraines. Explained my new treatment options. We decided what we thought was best for me. When I went back two months later, he made needed changes and I have been doing great ever since. He has always been funny, patient, and kind! The problems I’ve had with my insurance, his staff has worked hard to fix. Due to me being a teacher, they have been wonderful at working my appointments around my schedule! I’m very glad I came here!!

By far the rudest doctor I've ever seen in my life. She is judgmental, gives dirty looks, and overall just makes you feel horrible about yourself. Do not go see this doctor.

Spends no time with the patient. As a physician, he would cut me off when I tried to ask a question about the care of my family member and then threatened lack of documentation of progress so insurance won't pay. Rounds at the door surrounded by a "team" who don't introduce themselves. His arrogance compounds the problem. Shame on Anderson for hiring a poorly skilled neurologist when they need a qualified PM&R physician who has the clinical skills and bedside manner required by inpt rehab.

The scheduling is terrible. I went in for a consult the first of September. I went fur labs and nerve study a week later. Today is Oct 10. I have yet to see the doctor for a follow up to give me my results in my brain, lab work, or nerve study. The nurse says he's booked. Wow so I guess I will be clueless and in pain. Never again!!!! Will be going elsewhere after I get my results. Whenever that might be maybe next year!

Dr.Hashmat, I saw him for my 1st consult, big laugh, Dr Hashmat took a total of 10min giving an exam. I've had MS for 20yrs and he didn't ask one subjective question. I've been through very rough times since 11997,bed for 5yrs and a wheelchairs up to 9yrs had to learn to walk, which wasn't fun. Fell numerous times breaking bones in my feet, femur and tibi and fibula. Still have trouble walking. That's not including blurred and double vision, numbness in hands & feet. Horrible Dr! COW

He spent a total of 10 minutes with us. He questioned every medication I was prescribed by my primary physician. He never once addressed the reason I was referred there. Zero bedside manners. Sent me out the door with another migraine medicine and said I will see you in a month. Actually no you will not, I refuse to go back.
