Missed too diagnose to potentially fatal lung conditions. Did not review the chest CT images.

I recevied a letter from this office stating I was being discharged and I had 30 days to find another pulmonary physician. I called and spoke to the office manager which I could tell wasn't going to speak to the doctor about my call but that is okay as I have back issues and couldn't have slept on that godawful sleep study bed another night if my life depended upon it. I mean how many sleep studies do you need a year? When I was unable to walk for 6 minutes would they insist I try it again in 2 months. If I have COPD bad enough and a bad back that I can't walk for 6 minutes and my conditions haven't changed for the better then what makes you think I can do it 2 months later. Duh! Thank-you I now have not only a great pulmonary physician but his staff are quite understanding and informative. The only time a doctor has dropped me as a patient but it ended up being a blessing in disguise. Thanks office manager. Also I agree that the doctor & his PA Amber Queen are caring of the patients but the office staff is where there is a breakdown I even had to have my husband drive me down as no one would answer the phones quite a few times when I called. I work at an assisted living doing appointments and scheduling, this is the worst doctors office staff, I have ever worked with they don't call you back and half the time they don't even answer the phone it just keeps ringing and ringing.

Love Dr. Elmaghraby but his Palm Bay Office not worth going to...since he no longer comes there and the staff can’t or won’t service his long time patients maybe it should be closed. Had sleep study at Melbourne office along with annual breathing test in October and getting my results from his replacement in Palm Bay in November. Needed new CPap and have been back to the Palm Office with PA and Doctor at PB calling office when told to and getting no result I am now offering this recommendation as a 10 year patient of Dr. Elmaghraby and a 10 month patient of whomever is in the Palm Bay Office. If you can’t get into Melbourne and see a real specialist, go somewhere that cares. Dr. Elmaghraby is one of the BEST .. I really didn't realize how important it is to see your Pulmonologist until my COPD has worsened..l would cancel my appointments and not make a new one or if l was in the hosptial and he came to see me and told me to come see him in 2weeks for a follow up appt. Guess what l would cancel .. I am so GREATFUL and want to THANK YOU, Dr. Elmaghraby for taking me back as your patient....With that being said l promise Dr. Elmaghraby and his staff l will not miss nor will l cancel an appointment ever again .. Over the past six months, Dr Zaki Elmaghraby has proven to me that there is a standard in the medical field, and we the consumers should settle for no less. Elmaghraby is a shining example of what a doctor should be and he sets the bar very high. My family first met him in the ICU of Palm Bay Hospital where he was the critical care doctor for my dad. Over the course of six months, my dad was bounced around into different facilities due to a variety of needs and Elmaghraby was there for most of it. He followed my dad wherever he had rights to practice his field of expertise as a pulmonologist. I have got to say, he lays down the line exactly as it is. He will explain the situation you are in and there never is a sense of urgency from him that would make you feel rushed. He takes his time so that you understand what is going on. Dr Elmaghraby believed my dad wasnt going to make it but I believe he was just as surprised as we were to find out that his improvements continuously exceed all expectations. My favorite thing about Dr Elmaghraby came from this past week. My dad was released back home after 6 months of nothing but hospitals. Just two and a half days of being home and back to the PCU my dad went. This visit actually happened for a good reason and it uncovered a lot of helpful answers to my dads extremely complicated case. However, since ICU is Elmaghraby's area, we didnt think we would be seeing him in PCU. I think I've seen the guy more times than his actual assigned doctor. Seems like he is helping and consulting from behind the scenes. It just really shows that he cares and functions incredibly well on a team. Any hospital is lucky to have him and any patient is lucky to be his patient - that is to say, if you have to be patient in the first place.... Staff is way overworked, and don't listen to instructions. I have met the doctor only once and that just to shake his hand. Very disrespectful, even if they do try

He is a wonderful doctor, unfortunately his office is in chaos, and there is literally never a moment when things run smoothly.

Went to the office a total of seven times, only saw Dr. Elmaghraby once, and that was on the first visit. I liked Dr. Elmaghraby and liked the plan he had laid out to treat me. Unfortunately his staff, and allowing his PA to handle test results, is the reason I can only provide one star. I was having trouble breathing both before and after an cardiac ablation. Dr. Elmaghraby set me up for a pulmonary function test. The results of the test were provided to me by the PA, Robin, who said I had asthma, mild intermittent, uncomplicated. I was have breathing problems constantly so I found this diagnosis a little hard to understand. She put me on an inhaler and I asked how long before I would notice a difference and was told 2 to 3 days. After a full week and no difference I called, as Robin had suggested, only to be rebuffed by the office staff. I did have another appointment the following week with Dr. Mihindra who added another inhaler and set up two additional tests, a sleep study and a 6 minute walk test. The tests were scheduled two days apart the following week, in the meantime I still had trouble breathing, and now using two inhalers. I had no results provided to me from the sleep study but the 6 minute walk test was halted after two minutes because, i was told, my oxygen level dropped below 90%. Because I had an appointment the following week with my electrophysiologist I asked if the PA could please call and provide me some preliminary information on the test so that I could pass it along. I got nothing. The following week I received a call from an oxygen company wanting to deliver oxygen to my home. What? I received no diagnosis, no one at the office explained anything to me about having oxygen installed in my home or how I was to use it. I called the office and asked to speak with Robin, again I was told no, she does not call patients. That tells you a lot about what this office thinks of patients who have difficulty breathing. In any event I did have another appointment scheduled two weeks later which I originally thought about canceling but decided to go simply to get the diagnosis from the sleep study and the walk test. I met once again with Robin for the diagnosis and somehow my asthma suddenly turned into COPD. I questioned her about the problems I had with the office staff trying to get through to her and she said flatly "I don't call patients, I'd be making 25 calls a day". Once again a pretty lousy attitude to a patient. I told Robin I would be getting a second opinion. My new pulmonologist has confirmed my thinking, I never had asthma and the COPD at this point is questionable. I stopped the inhalers over a month ago and frankly my breathing is actually getting better. I had turned down the oxygen delivery so one really has to wonder how the tests were conducted. Oh, and as far as my blood oxygen is concerned, I bought an oxymeter right after the walk test and have never been able to duplicate the readings from the office walk test. If you are meeting with the doctors and have minimal interface with the PA and office staff you may make out a lot better. AMAZING!!!

Dr. Elmaghraby is a great guy and a great doctor.

Doctor Elmaghraby is a very great and professional with me every time I see him. I have been seeing him for around 3 plus years. Also all of his associates are outstanding Nd friendly when I have a visit or even over the phone. I do recommend everyone that ask me who I see to go to him!!!

Love Dr. E & his staff! Very friendly and always trying to accommodate my needs! Wouldn't go anywhere else for respiratory issues. Great bedside manner. You can tell his patients are very important to him.

This office and its doctors are always so busy tying to get patients taken care of as soon as possible. I have never delt with a medical office that does not make patients wait weeks to see either a Dr or a PA. They are always in great moods, and the doctors are amazing. I have actually witnessed patients treat these girls so awful and they always respond with such class and profession. They always go over and beyond to "TRY" to please all types of patients (even difficult ones). I would never trust another group of docs with my family. Dr.E treated my mother for 10 years. He has excellent beside manner and is genuinely concerned about his patients well being! I highly recommend him to any and all who are seeking a physician for their pulmonary and sleep needs! He is by far the best in the area!

My father had been very ill for a long time. He suffered from emphysema, COPD, and lung damage due to exposure to asbestosis which brought him in to see Dr. Elmagrhaby. Dr Elmagrhaby and his staff treated my father as if he was their own family. Dad was comfortable going to his office; never minding going there as he did to other doctors. Dr Elmagrhaby changjed dads medicine and changed up several things the previous doctor had put in place. This man was a God send. Thank you.

Dr E is one of the greatest doctors I have been to. After suffering from a nagging cough for over 10 years that no one could diagnosis or treat, he fixed me up. I can now go out and talk on the phone without the fear of a coughing attack.

Dr. Elmaghraby, his PA's, ARNP's and staff are amazing. Anytime I need something they are help me to the best of their ability. Dr. Elmaghraby is a very knowledgeable physician. He has helped me tremendously with my COPD needs.

Very likely, this practice is the ONLY pulmonary/sleep practice I would trust with myself or my family.

Doctor was fine to work with, of course out of seven visits I only met a doctor twice. Office staff and the PA couldn't care less about patients. The PA and receptionist told me flat out they don't call patients. The PA, in particular, seemed to take offense to the thought of calling patients because, in her words, "I would be making 25 calls a day". Find a doctor that treats you and personally provides the diagnosis to you. And, the PA did mis-diagnose me.

Wish I had gone to Dr. Elmaghraby sooner. My sleep apnea condition caused me to develop Afib, which after a year of trying to keep my Afib under control with medicine, I finally had to get a heart ablation performed. The ablation was done at the Mayo in Jax (w/ Dr. Kusumoto). Best experience ever with a hospital. All is well now, heart beats fine and my CPAP and dental sleep appliance have my Ahi well below 1.0 every night (was around 39 when I had my first sleep study).

As a patient, i'm extremely complex in a multiple comorbidities. I met this Doctor while hospitalized, after being bounced around,was having to drive all the way to Shands. He was a wonderful Doctor,I felt for first time in a while I not only had hope, I had someone who would treat me as an individual,not a disease. One of his first lines were ,I don't see an expiration date! Where I was being passed off due to the lack of knowledge with pulmonary hypertension. saved my life!

A+Doctor, as a caregiver,I needed support & reinforcement,We were treated as a team! I have great respect for a Doctor,who treats a patient 1st,& includes family in care, never rushed,His way of doctoring is different,but so effective.meaning a PA is part of visit.the whole staff works as a team,which office run smooth!Im blessed that my wife has best care in his hands.if U ask for a call back u get it.if u need to be seen,ur seen or some plan of care done!Thank You 2 All staff.i highly recommen

I've seen numerous doctors all over the state trying to find one that cares enough to try and find out what is wrong with me. He is number "ONE) in my book out of over 90 doctors. Most of the doctors I saw at Shands Mayo Clinic Jacksonville fl and Miami favorite saying was " your just to compleacated, need to see a psychiatrist " but not Doctor Elmagraby. He's been my doctor for over last 10 years and saved my life 2 times. He always has great bed side manor with an extremely big heart.

Wish I could rate Dr Elmaghraby a ten! He correctly diagnosed my issues (misdiagnosed for years by another practice) & prescribed a plan of treatment. He & his staff are amazing and regularly go above & beyond often, & always step up to meet critical needs. I wish every doctor could (would) offer this level of care ! My only less than perfect rating is that parking can sometimes be challenging.

This Dr.'s office is so amazing! They always get my grandmother in at the drop of a hat. They handle everything so fast. Dr. Elmaghraby is so sweet and gentle with my grandmother. He take the time to explain everything, even goes as far as to draw her pictures, to better help her explain. I would recommend him to any person with a lung or sleep issue. The BEST in town. His collegues are amazing as well. Staff is always so sweet and professional.

This was my first visit.I would like to rate the Doctor however I got tired of waiting to see him. I was in the waiting room for an hour waiting for my appointment with no feed back from the staff. If I left a client waiting for an hour I would not be surprised that I lost their business. When I finally asked the staff why I had been waiting for an hour they said they were backed up a little. This Doctors office appear so on have no customer service standard and takes their clients for granted
