Zaher Shebib

Dr Shebib is a conscientious and caring doctor. He took great care of me when I wound up in the hospital from a very serious kidney infection. Highly recommend.

My visit with Dr. SHEBIB himself was very nice. He has excellent bedside manner, compassion, as well as professional. His nurse was the same.. fast forward 1year and a telephone visit later with his PA and thats a whole other story. I have NEVER been treated so poorly in my life by a medical so called professional. She provided her conclusion based on test results i never took, and considering she has never seen me personally, she was confident in her diagnosis and insulted me when I told her she was wrong that I have a second opinion. Needless to say I was in tears when I finally hung up on her. Its sad when you feel hopeless and the people you are suppose to be able to turn to and it is their job to help you find a solution call you crazy rather than help. dr shebib has been great in helping me fight this bacteria infection in my hand. Great Dr ??

He is a Dr at S.E. Memorial Herman & does not listen to the patients. He's has no empathy & straight up lies about patients health trying to get my husband with a herniated disc & pinched nerve in his spine to "go home & SUCK IT UP." We have health insurance so it's not like he's getting free service.

I found him to be very capable, knowledgable and compassionate. Average wait times. No problems.

only gave 5 stars because it wont let me give more! Dr Shebib saved my life, when other doctors had no clue what to do to help me any further. If u have to wait a little bit to be seen, he is worth the wait! and if he is running behind, assume someone else needed extra attention, as you would like him to do for you! if he doesnt look at u, so what?! his job is to fix the things wrong w u in ur blood work, cultures, etc.. i have seen him for going on 15 years now, and more than not, he is reading your results & making his determinations. i live in Huntsville, and i pass dozens of ID doctors on my way to him, for a reason! if u have a complicated infection, or medical history, he's the guy you want in your corner! now, i consider him a friend, as well as my doctor. we spend a minute talking about art, and painting, when i see him now. my other half, my kids, my grandkids, as well as myself all thank the Gods for him coming into my life when he did, and saving my life! Great bedside manner. Always very easy to work with and straight to the point. I would recommend his team to anyone.

Dr. Shebib has seen my husband multiple times in the hospital. We found him to be a very thorough as well as caring doctor. We have never seen him in his office but only because he is not on our Insurance Plan. Absolutely wish that he was. I noticed one of the reviews complained about wait time in his office. I would never use that against a doctor. GOOD doctors are busy people and I can see how it would be difficult for them to keep an exact schedule. I ended up with an infection late this summer and I had to have IV meds. I have seen Dr. Shebib a few times and each time the Doctor, his nurse and his pharmacist took very good care of me. I recommended Dr. Shebib to my neighbor and they did not have anything negative to say either. As for wait times, any Doctor has a wait time. Those that don't are the exception and not the rule. This is a very busy office hence, infectious disease.

Horrible. Waited over 1hour and 45 minutes. And when I finally was seen, Dr. Shebib spent less than 5 minutes with me, when I told him why I was there to see him he yawned twice. He might have looked at me in the face once, then told me what the treatment was & the nurse would be in next & walked out. Needless to say I will never be back. His front desk lady & nurse were very nice. No one ever apologized for being late or running behind. There were people sitting in the hallway on the floor waiting to be called in. The staff upstairs and at the infusion center were amazing. Very thorough in showing the process, great communication. I've actually already referred a patient to him.

Horrible, waited over 1.5 hrs. He spent less than 5 minutes, did not ever look at me in the face. When I explained why I was there he started to yawn. I would not recommend him to anyone.
