Dr. Zachary Clark Bayer

I went to a "lunch and learn" event where Dr. Bayer was the presenter. I was so interested in what I heard, that I went to see him and was tested for cognitive function (I'm a senior citizen). Dr. Bayer is pleasant, insightful, caring, patient, and I plan to continue to see him ongoing.

My sister has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. Dr. Bayer has thoroughly assessed her, kindly encouraged her to make plans for how and where she will want to live when she can no longer live on her own and unable to drive her automobile. In an effort to help her retain independence, Dr. Bayer has offered a number of valuable suggestions. Dr. Bayer's extensive training and kind thorough manner of dealing with a difficult transition is most helpful to my sister and to me.

Upset by him first visit and had to go back. Not pleased with testing as he left the room several times without explanation. I do not trust his findings as I have been tested by my psychiatrist in depth. He is more concerned about the money than his patient's welfare. Says he takes Medicare and Tri-Care as full coverage for his services, but bills for services not covered and doesn't tell you. Was shocked when got $130 bill he said wasn't covered and I owe. Do Not Recommend

I highly recommend Dr. Zachary Bayer. He is very knowledgeable about the effects of brain injuries and the resulting adjustment challenges to behavior, mood and thinking. He is very detail orientated when it comes to NeuroPsychological Testing and he takes the time to explain the findings and recommendations to his patients. He has a perfect balance of knowledge, skill, compassion, professionalism, and expertise. If you or someone you love has had a head injury, this is the doctor to see!!!
