Dr. Youram Nassir

I can write ten page review here if I could and praise Dr. Nassir and his team of nurses. Dr. Nassir saved my mother's life. We went there for a second opinion and had no idea that my mother's stomach would explode any moment. We were not informed how serious her condition was. Dr. Nassir gave me directions what to do and in a day he was able to save my mother and prevent the imminent danger she was in. He is amazing, God-given talent and compassionate person. I wish him and his team of nurses all the best, they are very professional and caring. I am grateful to God that we were able to get to Dr. Nassir's office. May God give you strong health Dr. Nassir, you are the best.

Where do I begin? Dr. Nassir is such a knowledgeable, patient and above all he is the most caring Doctor that I have ever dealt with. Coming from Kaiser it has been such an amazing weight off my shoulders. Him and his staff literally go above and beyond for their patients. If I could put 10 stars I would. I cannot describe how grateful I am to have met Dr. Nassir. I had an emergency, they took me in on the same day and stayed late on a Friday to ensure I was taken care of. He even texted my fiancé the following day to see how I was doing. I would highly recommend him to all my friends and family. He is a doctor whom works from his heart. I’m admire him, and his work staff. Everyone is so outgoing and friendly. My Fiance had some health issues and lost a lot of blood. The doctor she was working with was not giving good advice and was taking short cuts on every corner. We were Referred to Dr. Nassir by her new OBGYN. Him and his team were very professional and friendly. He identified all the problems and gave her a IV with Iron in it. The old doctor was recommending a blood transfusion which we wanted to avoid doing. He stayed late and took excellent care of us. I couldn't recommend him and his team enough, these guys are people I would trust my closest family and friends with. Thank you so much!!

WOW is all I can say. After meeting Dr. Nassir, my family knew there was no other option. He took his time to explain every detail of our family member’s diagnosis as well as what their plan of care would be. He truly is not like any doctor, or human, out there. DrNassir&Staff did Chemo treatment Stage 4 Cancer for my husband from Feb-Sept in 2015. Then extensive surgery in Oct 2015 done by Dr. Nicholas Nissen. Both doctors and staff were exceptionally caring and sensitive. They were always concerned about my husband’s well-being. Today year 2023 my husband has been diagnosed with NO cancer. I so appreciate everything they did during that horrible challenging time. I forgot to mention in Jan 2015 by another physician specialist my husband was told he had two weeks to live. We were glad we got a second opinion.

Dr. Nassir is the epitome of what a doctor should be - knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, dedicated, attentive, discerning, trustworthy, and virtuous. After other doctors left us with little to no hope due to my grandfather’s diagnosis, Dr. Nassir spent hours with us going over my grandfather’s medical history and diagnoses, and set up a plan for his treatment. We started out with other oncologists telling us my grandfather has “very little chance due to his age;” After several months under Dr. Nassir’s care, my grandfather is doing so much better it almost seems like magic. Dr. Nassir’s personal approach to each and every patient is unparalleled and we cannot praise him highly enough. His staff is absolutely wonderful, with each and every individual there working to make both patients and families comfortable and informed. The uncomfortable feeling of having to micromanage every detail of your loved one’s care often felt with other medical professionals due to inattentiveness, etc, absolutely vanishes the moment you step into Dr. Nassir’s office. Though it is absolutely devastating to receive a oncological diagnosis, Dr. Nassir and his staff grant hope and serenity along with their proactive care. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I wish there were more doctors like Dr. Nassir. He is an incredible human being, a very knowledgeable, intelligent, and caring doctor with the goal of truly helping people. He put my mother through tests so rapidly to find out what is wrong with her, he called all needed doctors and labs personally to expedite the situation and we were able to get a diagnosis (turned out to be cancer) within a few days of visiting him; a process that usually can take months. I would like to talk about my experience with cancer and seeing Dr. Youram Nassir. I was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Squamous Cancer of the rectum. I had so much fear and all I could think about what how I could this have happened to me. I was told I needed to see him as he was the best Dr to help me heal from this disease. I came to see him and he informed me of what I had, how we were going to treat it, and informed me that if I did what he said I was going to be ok. He has a very loving and caring soul and I trusted his intentions. I followed the 6 week treatment plan and 8 weeks later I am recovering rapidly. I came under Dr Nassir’s care for a very aggressive version of lung cancer. I came to cancer with 30 years of Type I diabetes and 20 years of HIV/AIDS. From my 1st meeting in my room after surgery all the way through the months of chemo and beyond I’ve only known the best medical care, sincere concern and safety having had Dr Nassir carrying me through. I’ve been in medical care my whole life but Dr Nassir gave me his all. I cannot recommend him enough. He cares.

He is and exceptional doctor, knowledgeable, passionate and more importantly, very emphatic with the patients. The way he cares about you gives you a feeling that he is your immediate family member! My father is getting his care for Bladder Cancer treatment at Dr. Nassir office. he reviewed my father's files since 20 years ago since he migrated to the USA and prepared a full report, he checked every single health issues, and I mean it, every single one, before he makes a decision. My story and my wife Rosa Valenzuela we came recommended to Dr. Nassir my wife levels of Hemoglobin had drop to 6.2, We when to UCLA Harbor as soon as we got there she was taking in to ICU where she was giving a 2 pints Blood transfusion the DR. said that if she wasn't bleeding from an ulcer or from her stool there was only one thing Leukemia and after she got the Blood transfusion and as soon at it was done they let us out, Without nothing we ask for a Dr. and they told us we needed to look for one by yourself. We were refer to Dr. Nassir by Dr. Khal Ahmed as soon as I call to set an appointment the staff was very professional and took us in like a family the first time we saw Dr. Nassir he told my wife I will cure you because your not Sick he send us to do all kind of test, He said you Iron he recommend never to get a blood transfusion without knowing what you really need he recommended a transfusion of Ferahiem Iron 2 pints My wife now is cure and she will get a surgery her problem was a different one never a Leukemia. Dr. Nassir is GREAT, but his front offices is a disservice to him. They'll fail to communicate with patients for scheduling of appointments, they'll make them on their own, unknown to the patient and have a bad attitude. The front office staff has forgotten that they're dealing with very sick patients and patients can be having a bad day, that's when their bad attitude comes out. I'm afraid Dr. Nassir isn't aware of these issues since he's so overloaded/overworked. I wish his right hand person would address these issues.

Overall a very good doctor but some major improvements can potentially make this establishment thrive not only for the patient experience, but as well for the staff to gain new insights regarding how to develop self-respect while attending decent to patients su h as the elderly.

He is Amazing, but overworked! I'm alive after stage 3, 3+ yrs later! But wait time to see him: 3-5 hours. I left after 3yrs because front office girls+ Vivi are deplorable. Very unprofessional, uncompassionate & unhelpful. Vivi is the medical ins. person. Does not answer or return calls. She was good at first- then awful! All my urgent cancer tests were not ordered AT ALL for months. Gross negligence of patients lives! Even new Dr could not get office staff to respond to fax, email,& phone!

This Doctor Nassir is a miracle man! He is here to save lives period! No matter how old the patient or the medical situation, he doesn't give up on you or the family's hopes and wishes for your loved ones. He is also so down to earth. Waiting to see him is 100% worthwhile. My mother was given up on at UCLA health systems, and she ended up in the Cedar Sinai ER last year. Thanks to Doctor Nassir she is still going strong today. The wait is always 2 hrs to see the doctor for 15 mins. He's a good doctor and passionate but make sure you have the nothing planned for the whole day.

Such an excellent Dr. who has a great bedside and compassionate manner. Been his patient for over 2 years now. Dr Nassir is very thorough (oncology, hemotology and internal medicine). He truly understands the human body systems. I trust his advice (both medical and personal) completely.

Saved my life. Office staff is great. Dr Nassir makes himself very available to his patients.

I have been a nurse for 30 years . He diagnosed me with multiple myeloma and doing well. He would do anything for any and all of his patients. Dr. Nassir Is the best, kindest and most caring doctor I have EVER experienced. As some one who's been dealing with doctors constantly for a good bulk of my life. I can say I have never been treated with more respect and kindness than anywhere else. He has been taking care of me for years now and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. I trust him completely.
