I saw Dr. Shim several times for heel pain. I had been told that plantar fasciitis was hard to remedy, but with all of the treatments recommended by Dr. Shim my heel pain went away and hasn’t returned. I liked that she had everything I needed in office as well (insoles for different kinds of shoes and a boot to wear at night), so I didn’t have to go to and additional place to get them. She is knowledgeable, caring and professional. I’d highly recommend her.

Dr. Shim is a very professional podiatrist who runs a very professional office with a competent staff. She is clearly knowledgeable about foot care and takes the time to clearly explain her recommended treatment and answer all questions you may have. Add to that - she is also a very pleasant, kind and caring doctor who makes you feel welcome and never rushes you. I totally recommend her without any hesitation.

My husband is a patient of Dr. Shim's and referred me when I started to have plantar fasciitis pain. Dr. Shim is the best podiatrist I have ever visited. She is very professional, warm and friendly. She explains everything easily and does not rush through visits. Dr. Shim also will make goes out of her way to help when insurance may not cover something by recommending alternatives that are free or very low cost. The staff is friendly and welcoming and easy to work with overall I highly recommend Dr. Shim if you need a podiatrist!

Of course. Dr Shim is Great! After seeing about at least a dozen podiatrists over the years. There are only a few I would return to seek treatment and/or advice. Dr Shim is one of the podiatrists I return to see. She listens to my input as a patient and proceeds down a mutually agreed upon path for my treatment Also, her office staff are professional and very competent.

Dr. Shim is the only medical professional who immediately put safety precautions in place during COVID-19 shelter-in-place/lockdown/social distancing. I have had to cancel appointments with other doctors because measures were not taken to ensure my safety. During my visits conversation is very relaxed and I am more comfortable and can ask questions without feeling tense.

I Love Dr. Shim. I have been a patient of hers since 2008 & she always addresses my concerns, gives great advice & sees me when I call.

Dr. Shim! Is a very good doctor, she came highly recommended to me, and she does not disappoint. She is excellent at what she does, the advice, the courteous,kind and heartfelt way she makes you feel, knowing that you're going to be ok.
