For a psychiatrist office, you would think the staff would be more helpful and understanding when it comes to scheduling!

Dr. Vanina and her husband make a great team and have helped me more than some doctors I've been seeing for YEARS!! She is amazingly wonderful to me and I look forward to our next visit and am excited to see where our doctor/patient relationship takes us. She's always a joy to talk to more openly and honestly than i have ever spoken to a doctor before. When I'm speaking to her (in my head) I'm not continuously trying to manipulate her. I'm not constantly trying to come up with a "next move" to attempt to get any certain kind of medication or reaction from her. Dr. Vanina actually listens to me when i am explaining what is happening with my mind, body, and spirit. What kind of therapy and/or medications work best for me. She’s changed my life. She’s a brilliant women in her career and knows what she is doing.

She is great. She listens, she is very knowledgeable, and up to date on medications. She responds quickly via messages. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor in this field.

This review is based upon my new patient experience before ever seeing the Doctor. Based upon my experience, I said no thanks, and will find someone else. I had an appointment scheduled for Monday. I received a confirmation message saying if I did not call back by 5 PM, they were canceling my appointment. This message was left at 1:35 PM on Friday. I was occupied with activities with my children and unable to get to my phone until 5:45 PM. I was only given a 3.5 hour window to confirm my appointment and they canceled it on me! I spoke with the man who books the appointments and he was argumentative with me on the phone at 5:45 and had already given away my appointment spot. It honestly felt like they were trying to cancel me out of the system. I am a busy mom of three who just moved to the area and have been waiting to get in for over a month. I have important prescription medications I take and need to be seen by someone to maintain my plan. I now have to start over in a search to find a new doctor. And there was zero compassion or trying to find a solution by the office staff. Completely unacceptable. Have more compassion. And provide a LONGER window than a few hours for patients to confirm their appointments or use an automated email system so people can have 24 hours to confirm. Dr. Vanina was recommended to me by a friend upon me moving here. I know exactly why now, she is a caring, non-judgmental and professional psychiatrist. I've never felt rushed or felt silly for asking questions. She is very informative and fully explains medications and how they work etc. I know there are some reviewers that have commented on her husband that runs the front desk being rude etc. I disagree completely. Dr Vanina is wonderful. I never feel rushed as I have with so many Dr.s. I am so glad I found this practice.

Excellent care. Very professional, accommodating and polite. I have never had a negative interaction with this office in eight years. Have highly recommended practice in the past and will continue to do so in the future.

My experiences with them have always been great (Dr. Vanina and Michael). They have always been professional. Dr. Vanina is one of the most knowledgeable psychiatrists I have ever been to. They are both very down to earth. Dr. Vanina listens, gets to know you, and genuinely cares about her patients. I am so glad i found them and reccomend them to anyone. Ive have seen Dr. Vanina for several years. She has been very professional and has been a big help. She takes her time with me and i have never waited more than ten minutes to be seen. Her office manager Michael has been a big help making sure my insurance gets filed properly. I’m not sure that Dr Vanina is the problem. I have contacted the office four times over the course of a month in an attempt to get my medications worked out and the issue has yet to be resolved. My calls have only been returned one time and that was a request for me to call back without any information. The first two times that I called were not even documented and the issues that I was having with the medication was also not documented. Im left with no choice but to leave a bad review. If I can file some sort of complaint I’m going to. And I don’t usually do this.

Dr. Vanina is an excellent psychiatrist. She has been able to address my mental health issues over the years very quickly even as my other health issues have changed. The Office Manager Michael is very attentive to patient needs including coordination with Pharmacies and Insurance company's. I would recommend the office to anyone requiring Mental Health assistance.

Dr. Vaninna is a good doctor. Her husband, the guy that keeps records at the Louisville location, has an extreme attitude problem. It's because of him that I won't be recommending their services to anyone I know. His behavior may be acceptable in Russia, it isn't here. Maybe he should seek his wife's services.

I had to wait 2 months to get a new patient appointment w/ Dr Vaniba. I was not particularly pleased with my first and only visit with her. I didn't feel like she asked enough questions about my symptoms or history or that she let me speak very much. She spoke over and interrupted me several times when I was trying to describe my symptoms so I did not get a chance to accurately describe them. I don't feel that she was understanding or sympathetic to what I was going through.

She listens. Very intelligent Doctor that pays attention to my needs. Remembers me each time I come to the office, about once every 3 months.
