Dr. Yadira Baez-Lockard

She is completely unethical and biased favoring women. Tests revealed that my wife was lying, but she argued that she was just bad at taking standardized test. I offered to send my records but said she would get them from the GAL. Then she stated that my records were not available. She claims that I was hospitalized for suicidal thoughts, which never happened. I provided her with my medical records and asked her to correct her report. She refused.

Dr Lockard is truly great at her job. She helps bring out the truth in each situation and takes her time in reviewing the case and all the information from both parties before she presents her findings. I would recommend her every time.

First no one answered the door when I arrived on time to our appointment. Second she was late starting our appointment, by 10 minutes due to no one answering the door when I knocked, more than once as well as called. Yet there were two ladies sitting very close to the door who had to have heard me knocking. Third my appointment was then cut short, to get her back on schedule I assume, but only after throwing a generic diagnosis at me that has time and again been misdiagnosed in women, especially those with my pointed concerns. I'm not comfortable with blindly accepting a generic diagnosis thrown my way without good reason and further testing and regardless of ones credentials. Fourth the front desk didn't have change and I had to make change by going across the street to get gas, not major but annoying to say the least. They also didn't mail my paperwork so that it could be filled out prior to this appointment. A very unorganized office.

It took forever to get an appointment. Wait time was negligible in the office. She got snowed over by my estranged husband who is very deceptive and studied up quite a bit on the tests. He received an overall very positive report and prognosis. She forgot several important details of our forensic interview & didn’t take my specific circumstances into account at all when determining the outcome of my testing. For instance, the test results stated that I scored high in hypochondriasis. However, I had been diagnosed with cancer 6 months prior. I had areas of concern with self-esteem and gender identity with no mention of my recent double mastectomy. She also wanted to charge several hundred dollars to discuss the results of my $1000 test with me. Her report weighed heavily in our child custody case & cost my kids a lot. Thankfully, it all came out in the wash & we both showed our true colors in the end. I gained sole custody of the children and he lost all custodial & visitation rights.

she is amazing at explaining legal and clinical information. She is hard to get an appointment but it obvious that is because of her expertise.

I have known Dr. Lockard since she moved to South Carolina and started providing services. When she moved offices, the majority of her patients if not all, came along with her because she is so knowledgeable and approacheable. She is great with families and people of all ages!

Dr. Baez Lockard is one of the most caring people I have met. Not only does she speak english and spanish but she has a therapy dog too. I would refer her to anyone!

Dr. Lockard is the most amazing and compassionate psychologist I have ever been to. She is extremelty knowledgeable and takes the time to connect with other providers to help you out.
