Dr. William Earl Roundtree

MY husband died under his care, he died from heart failure he had a bad cough which is a sign of heat failure and Rountree continued to give him pills for a cough . I wish I COULD GIVE HIM A ZERO

Dr. Roundtree is a consummate professional. He has kept me healthy for the last 30 years. he doesn't push medicine on you unless it is absolutely necessary. Great Dr. I think a great deal of the negativity is from people who had conditions that would have ended up the same with any other Dr.

My visits are always great. What a good doctor and staff. Thanks for keeping me well.

I have gone to Doctor Roundtree for years but I live in another city now, wish he was here!! Miss him

He is so humble and caring with a great staff.

My medical condition requires me to visit several doctors. None of them can beat the level of customer service at this office. In order for any treatment/physician to be affective patients must be honest and communicate what bought them into the office. Dr. Roundtree is remarkable. It blows my mind how he recalls specifics about my medical condition from years ago. I wish he treated children as well. Best doctor in town.

I haven’t seen Dr. Roundtree yet, but setting an appointment as a new patient was unpleasant with the receptionist, Sherry as I recall her name to be. After some research, I called and introduced myself and explained that Dr. Roundtree was listed as one of the physicians that accepts my insurance ,BCBS, and that I wanted to schedule an appointment with him. She then goes to ask me for my insurance ID to “make sure it wasn’t Obamacare” Yes, those were her exact words, even after she repeated “BCBS” as I stated. After following her protocol, she placed me on hold and sent me to the voicemail of another physician that wasn’t Dr. Roundtree. I hung up, and called back and she told me the info about my deductibles and that they weren’t accepting new patients for 3 weeks. I told her I still would like to set the appointment from this date so that I can come in after the three weeks. And she asked “what are you coming in for” and I told her it was for a wellness check up. We went ahead and established the appointment, however, I don’t think I will go. The conversation was unpleasant, and they can strengthen their customer service. Last year was my first year contracting the flu! At first, I was reluctant to see a doctor and waited until my symptoms got severe before calling for an appointment. Dr. Roundtree's kind and courteous staff got me an appointment the same day. Dr. Roundtree diagnosed me almost immediately upon examination and prescribed medications that got me on the road to recovery. I wish I had not waited so long to see him. I like Dr. Roundtree as a doctor. I wouldn’t recommend him because of the rudeness of the appointment scheduler. In Sept 2017, I fell and injured my ankle. I called for an appt. It had been a while since I’d seen Dr. Roundtree but I hadn’t been sick and don’t believe in taking appts from those in need. The lady who schedules told me that I hadn’t been in lately and should “go wherever I’d been going”. I scheduled an appt with an orthopedic and my ankle was broken in 2 places.

Roundtree apparently has an attractive bedside (table-side) manner that draws elderly patients to him. Unfortunately, the care he provides is LESS THAN IDEAL. Under Roundtree's care, I've watched my mother's health decline at an alarming rate. He's missed MULTIPLE diagnoses, including an obvious neurological disorder as well as cardiac abnormalities. I would not send my dog to Roundtree for treatment. Upon questioning his observations, it became apparent that he's not accustomed to answering questions about treatment options. Roundtree advised that he only responds to what his patients tell him. He has not acknowledged the rapid deterioration of my mother's health over a matter of a few months. Since changing to a more attentive primary care physician my mother's health and well-being have improved significantly. Dr. Roundtree is an excellent doctor. He is caring, concern, dedicate and hardworking. He is very professional and cares about his patients. I was admitted into the hospital during the early AM hours 1/31/16 and after Dr. Roundtree was notified he was there to see me. He immediately contact a specialist to perform the surgery I needed and because of the Almightly God, Dr. Roundtree and the other doctor (he contact), I am alive. I love going to him and will highly recommend him as a doctor.

I recently retired and celebrated my 65th birthday... I felt I needed to share my thirty year experience with my physician. I look to Dr. Roundtree and his staff to help me not only manage and maintain my health; which has ranged from removing a splinter to the diagnosis of a serious lung disorder. His knowledge of preventive care to include diet, exercise and weight management is nothing less than state art. I sincerely believe that I have had the highest level of medical care.

Well I didn't have a chance to visit with this Dr. but because I'm so big on customer service his receptionist ruined any chance of my fiance using him as a family Dr. I chose him because my mother went to him and she liked him alot some years ago. So to me if customer service isn't good over the phone than what am I in for at a visit. The Dr. probably is good but his receptionist have some work to do. The doctor himself is excellent and fast but his Jamaican assistance does not fully understand how insurance works as far as Co-pays and deductibles. She think we either have one or the other and with certain insurances you don't have to pay either. We had to call our insurance company and give her the phone on order for her to understand how it works. I have Cigna insurance and they are excellent so it's not my insurance is her knowledge of how it works. I have been going to Dr roundtree over 5years.He saved my life Jan.14,2016when I had a bad fall most of my sisters and brothers go to him.He was my mom doctor he took good care of her You just have to let him know about the receptionist

I would recommend Dr. Roundtree to anyone seeking medical care. I am his patient and I have no more pain. Dr. Roundtree was professional and answered all of my questions. His diagnosis was 100% accurate and now I feel great. Dr. Roundtree truly cares for all his patients after talking to other patients in the waiting room.

I used to be baffled that Roundtree has a Sports Medicine shingle hanging outside his office, yet his waiting room is filled with senior citizens. How many of these geriatric patients are suffering from sports-related injuries? Under Roundtree's care, I've watched my mother's health decline at an alarming rate.
