Getting a colonoscipy is not a fun event but this office staff and doctor make you feel comfortable . I don't want another but they make a bad situation tolerable

If l could, l would rate this doctor a zero. He was abrupt and bordering on rude. He put me on an oral antibiotic for cellulitis on my leg. l called a week later to report that the antibiotic was not working, and there was no improvement. He had his office call me and tell me l should be admitted to the hospital for IV antibiotics. They told me to have my GP set up the admission. I told them my GP is not affiliated with Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital and cannot admit patients there. I was told to go through Emergency and be admitted that way. I do not understand why this “caring” doctor could not have me admitted himself. I would not recommend him for anything. Now, l will have to go sit in the ED for heaven knows how long because he is an uncaring doctor. If l could, l would rate this doctor a zero. He was abrupt and bordering on rude. Dr. Papouras is an egotistical, self-absorbed @sshole (As I'm sure anyone with the middle name of "Christ" would be). I consulted with him in early 2017. I was experiencing a number of symptoms after having an intestinal abscess and finding out I had an inguinal hernia. Our 15 minute consult consisted of him berating me for being a smoker (you're preaching to the choir and this is not the subject of my appointment) and then telling me that he did not believe that I had a hernia. He scheduled a colonoscopy for 3 months out and sent me on my way. A few weeks later, I had another specialist perform my colonoscopy (she is an amazing doctor) and a surgeon (who later removed my infected gall-bladder, which turned out to be the underlying cause of my visit to Dr. Papouras) who discovered I had double inguinal hernias. As far as I'm concerned, Dr. Papouras is not a professional. I would never recommend him to another individual and if I ever see him in person again, I will be sure to let him know exactly how I feel.

Dr Papouras is truly a professional. He made me feel very comfortable at every visit, and through out my whole procedure. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a surgeon. Great doctor and a really nice guy. I ended up im immense pain with a inflamed gall bladder... He removed it for me and made sure i was taken care of post surgery. Very professional and highly reccomended!
