He was awesome he took good care of my fingers. And he give me the right thing to put on my finger.

i was sent for bloodwork for my hand pain. i called regarding the results and was told this doctor doesnt discuss bloodwork via the telephone. i believe it was a receptionist who would speak with me- she told me to go see my primary care physician instead. im just confused as to why i went and did this bloodwork at the urgent care as he requested and the doc refuses to speak with me until my next appointment. Do you were received in a very courteous manner. The associates were all very pleasant and very helpful. When I spoke with my surgeon he answered my questions and concerns and a very clear and concise manner. I was very pleased with the way we were received at this office.

Wait was short, my hand was x-rayed and he went over the x-rays with me, which I really liked. Went over several treatment plans and allowed me to decide with all questions answered.

Dr Muihead save my hand . I am blessed that’s he was the on call hand doc and he took care of me. He came very quickly after the hospitalist put the call. He came everyday to see me, and made sure I was in good shape. Thank you again

Dr. Muirhead is an excellent physician. He is a good listener and offers alternative solutions to surgery if that is what the patient wants. If you do choose surgery, Dr. Muirhead is thorough in his explanation as to what your experience might be. His office staff is also very helpful.

Although I arrived on time for my appointment it was an hour and a half wait to be seen by the doctor. If they are not ready to see patients in a timely manner perhaps they should schedule fewer patients. When finally seen by Dr. Muiread he was coldly professional and explained options. I chose the quickest option to address my problem which unfortunately was not the best. I am now exploring other professionals who can take time and care to resolve my minor problem that is not life threatening. A professional and a gentleman like no other. He was instrumental in providing the proper care needed and following up diligently after hospitalization and surgery. Do not hesitate to see Dr. Muirhead as he is an expert in his field with unmatched courtesy and personal communication.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Muirhead for about 18 months for carpal tunnel in both hands and trigger finger. He and his staff are professional, knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. Dr. Muirhead is excellent in diagnosing conditions with your hands and arms. I’ve had to cancel surgeries due to chronic illness and he’s been very good about it and treating me with injections that work for a long time. I’ve finally found physicians who have properly diagnosed and treated my illnesses and when the injections wear off, I’ll be scheduling surgery with Dr. Muirhead. Dr. Muirhead is an excellent physician. He is always thorough, takes time for any questions I may have, and explains everything in a way that I can understand. I have never felt rushed at any of my several office visits. Kasie is equally as wonderful and they make a great team. Highly recommend!

What an amazing Dr, and staff. Everyone is so friendly. You can see how well everyone gets along. I rarely wait more than a few minutes before I am taken in for my appointment, and am not let sitting to wait for Dr Muirhead. The office runs so smoothly. Dr Muirhead is an outstanding surgeon. It was comforting for me to know that he has an excellent reputation within the medical community. I have a relative who is an orthopedic surgeon in another state who highly recommended Dr Muirhead! I broke my wrist and had to have surgery for a plate and screws. He was caring and informative with all questions and concerns.

A gifted surgeon. He is exceptional. I had a badly fractured radius in two places in my left wrist. He is the expert you want to go to as this was not an easy surgery. The cast was perfectly placed and comfortable as it was applied with care when molding it to your exact specifications. The fracture lines and soft tissue had healed a head of schedule due to the correct placement of the hardware. The suture line is straight and not noticeable because of his expertise knowledge of doing his own sutures. He is attention to detail through out, he is kind, caring and is there for you. Extremely helpful. He explained the situation with my hand and shared the basis for his diagnosis with me after taking me through the X rays. He did an excellent job minimizing the pain of the injection in my hand. His followup suggestions were clear and his suggested exercises helped clarify what I can do to help myself with this on-going condition. I have urged my wife to see him with her own hand problem.

June 10, 2019.::: I accidentally CUT My Left Hand in TWO Places on Saturday, May 25, 2019; and after Cleaning up the Excessive Bleeding (Coumadin User); and Bandaging it, Thought not much more of the Injury, except to wash and Re~Bandage the wounds. By Tuesday following Memorial Day; "RED STREAKS" were up my Left Arm from the Injured Hand; along with "Swelling of the Hand and Arm." {Cellulitis.) My Husband took Me to the "Roper, North E.R." in Mount Pleasant. Whereupon the ER Physician on Duty called immediately for a "Hand Surgeon;" and Dr. Muirhead came almost at once, and took me to Surgery quickly. I stayed in the Hospital a Week, receiving BOTH Oral and IV Antibiotic Follow~up Treatment. Dr. Muirhead came by to check on my Progress Each Day. I was discharged from the Hospital on Monday, June 3, Late in the Day; and have been continuing Recovery at Home Uneventfully. Went to Dr. Muirhead's Office on June 7, for (3) Sutures Removal. Follow~Up Appt. for June 25.

He is very good with explaining what is needed and takes care any issues I have.

I was taken to exam room within 15 min of appointment time. There was reasonable wait before Dr. Muirhead was available. The doctor came in , I told him my complaints. I required injections. He returned to take care of. I have always been very pleased with his care and the efficiency of the entire staff at his office.

I could not have asked for a better Dr. Dr Muirhead is the best and I would recommend him to anyone who needs his service. With several fractures in my left wrist, he literally put my hand back together. Very compassionate, experienced, gentle, etc. I could go on and on describing him!

Very professtional

Dr Muirhead did my carpal tunnel surgery and it went well. I really didn’t want to have the surgery but I am now glad I did. I have no more pain and which I Suffered with this pain for many years. I would recommend Dr Murirhead to anyone! Again, job well done.

Dr. William Muirhead has done 2 wrist surgeries. One was for 2 fractures in the radious after a very bad fall. This difficult surgury went so well, his work is flawless, he is a brilliant surgeon. He has extremely high standards, he explains everything while discussing your x-ray so you are informed. He cares. This is why I chose Dr. Muirhead for my shortening of the ulna that began hurting 10 yr's, I would not have gone anywhere else. Super staff, his assisant Casey is over and beyond.

Dr. Muirhead might be a good surgeon if you clearly need surgery. But for something that requires some clever medical analysis, don't count on a solution.
