William J Medwid

William J. Medwid is hands down the best primary care I have ever had in my entire life. Ive been seeing him my entire life. He believes you when you speak to him about health problems and symptoms. He lets your have input into your treatment and takes you seriously during appointments. He does not have any bias against certain conditions people incorrectly believe do not exist. I am not exaggerating when I say: Medwid is hands down the best doctor I have ever had the pleasure of being treated by, and you should seriously consider him as a potential primary care doctor if you have the pleasure to make that choice. My only regret was not approaching him with issues I was too insecure to admit I was experiencing early on, thinking he wouldn't believe me. He will hear you and listen to you. I've seen Dr. Medwid for at least 20 years. He's always been great to me. Luckily I have been in good health most of the time, so visits are short. I had Lyme about 15 years ago, and he was able to see me right away and point me in the right direction to a specialist. His personality has always been upbeat, personable and professional. 5 STAR doctor....myself, and 2 sons plus my newly born grandson have Dr. Medwid. We all have nothing but praise for him...My daughter in law doesn,t have him but after her first visit with my new grandson she came out of the visit with such high praise . She said , " I have never felt more comfortable" and trusting of a doctor.

BEST PRIMARY CARE DOSCTOR i HAVE HAD IN MY 62 YRS. Caring, attentive, I now have my 2 sons going to him plus my future grandchild..trust him completely

Caring,caring,caring...been going to Dr Medwid as do my 2 son for many years. Nothing but the highest respect for him, and the outstanding treatment he gives you. Such a personable doctor, but a no nonsense doctor. He will not coddle you.

I have been seeing Dr.Medwid for over 10 years as have my 2 son's. He's personable, very caring. He doesn't rush you and listens. I recommend him highly. He will not coddle you.

Dr. Medwid had seen me several times, he knew about my low blood sugar. One morning that I had an appointment with him, I was feeling quite bad. Dr. Medwid was feeling angry because he thought I was or had been drinking alcohol. His response was to have the nurse escort me out the back door. I had to plead and beg for a blood sugar test, while he went to see another patient, the nurse was startled to find my sugar at "30" . then the nurse felt she needed to get Dr Medwid and he was annoyed , however her persistence saved me . I will say when Dr Medwid was told my sugar was 30, he did run past me and brought me cookies and what ever was in the office kitchen. Needless to say I shortly found a new doctor. Dr. Medwid is a great doctor. He is very helpful with recommendations and is always available when needed.

I have told Dr Medwid many times over several years of a serious situation and he blew me off. Turned out he should have listened as I had a very bad reaction to my medication

I have a friend who sees this doctor and has for over 8 years now. He' seems to be an amazing doctor; she takes her children in the office with her from time to time and i have seen with my own eyes how much patiance he has & how he has taken the time to really know my his patient's. Dr Medwid, is the most AMAZING doctor I have ever met! I have been a patient of his for about 10 years, and he will be my doctor until he retires. He is the type of doctor that truly cares, as well as, takes interest in his patients life. I would not be alive if I did not meet Dr. Medwid, I owe him my life, and I am eternally grateful to him.

I have been with Dr. Medwid for almost 7 years now, and couldn't image having another Doctor. I drive a good 35 min to see him. He is kind, understanding, personable, humorous, thorough and an all around EXCELLENT Doctor. He remembers everything from your children's names, to big and small life events and always asks about specific parts of your life. Dr. Medwid is by far the best Doctor on the North Shore. My husband switch to Dr. Medwid, and feel the same.

No doubt, he is a knowledgeable doctor. He has been my pcp since he started with FMA. At first he really went the extra mile and had a great bedside manner. Now he is always rushed, and actually somewhat arrogant. I hate to do it, but I am switching PCPs. Maybe they are just all overworked, but he is now a very different doctor.
