Dr Gillander is a good doctor to me I was a breast cancer patient he did the surgery I needed. I'm forever greatful to God for placing me with a wonderful Dr as as Dr Gillander may God bless and keep him.

Dr. Guillanders is a caring, professional, honest and knowledgeable surgeon. He took the time to listen and to answer in-depth to all the questions my daughters, my husband and I had about my health and the thyroid surgery that he was going to perform. He made us feel very comfortable and made sure that we clearly understood the procedure, employing not only words, but also graphics and drawings. The surgery was long and successful. If someone is afraid about a thyroid operation, Dr. Guillanders is the doctor to search! Thank you so much Dr. Guillanders.

Thank you Dr. Gillanders and Dr. Grossman for a successful parathyroidectomy. I'm grateful to you and your competent and responsive staff, including Stephanie, Candi, Ashley, and Belinda for all of my care. Surgery is scary, and the added uncertainty of surgery during a pandemic elevated it to terrifying for me. Thank you for taking all of my concerns seriously and for your thorough explanations every step of the way, before and after the procedure. The pre-op staff, including Logan, was very kind, as was Bernie, the anesthesiologist, Kathy, and the other OR team members. And thanks to the people behind the scenes in the lab running tests during the procedure, not to mention the staff who were so kind to my husband and kept him updated through the process. My caretakers Alicia, Diana, and Tatianna at BJH were awesome during my overnight stay. Overall, I'm so glad to have this in my rear-view mirror, but if I had to do it all over again, I would choose this team. Thank you! So grateful and thankful that we found Dr. Gillanders! He is the very BEST!! Took excellent care of our daughter and helped us through a very scary situation! I will highly recommend this excellent surgeon to anyone who asks!!

Dr. Gillanders was open with me about my condition - hyperparathyroidism. Let me have the time to ask questions without rushing me. During the first office visit Dr. Gillanders gave me the information and time to decide to have the surgery and confirmed that I did need the surgery. I didn't need much time but he stayed with me while I took the time to make up my mind. He was also good to me on the day of my surgery. I'd recomment him to anyone who needs his type of expertise.

Dr Gillanders is very kind & patient. At my first appointment, I had many questions regarding the breast cancer surgery I was going to have to done. He took my note paper and went over each question and answered them completely. He gave me the pros & cons of what I was facing. On the day of surgery, he again visited with me prior to surgery to answer any concerns I had. I had a follow up appt to discuss the pathology results. Again, he took the necessary time to explain everything.

I would give 0 stars, but that is not an option. I hope nobody who goes to this office has anything imperative depending on their medical records being sent from there. I had a request put in on 4/4/16 for records to be sent. I received a response right away saying it would be done in approximately 20 business days. Come to find out, the Dr.'s office sends that request to a Medical Records Dept, who then outsources it even further to ANOTHER Medical Records place. Turns out, the 3rd Medical records place did not even get the request until MAY 11TH. Then it will be another 2 - 3 weeks after that until they are even MAILED out. So now, we are looking at a turn around time of about 1/4 of a year for records to be sent out from this office. They have already been paid for this service. I know I did nursing at a Dr's office for over 10 years, and part of my job was mailing out records. I would have lost my job for this. I was wondering how many of their patients know that their records are sent to an unknown 3rd party, and how many has this policy for their medical records been properly explained to? He was very patient and reassuring. His staff was very helpful and accommodating.
