I’m a newer patient of Dr Bender and I couldn’t be happier with my dental care.

Great experience, procedure was fast with no pain. I would definitely recommend if you need a dentist. Also, staff is very friendly.

A 40 yr old crown broke loose - I saved it - got a "same day" appt with Dr Bender who quickly and efficiently inserted a "temporary" & I return in a week for the permanent. Very Satisfied !

My hygienist Linda was very knowledgeable and informative, my teeth cleaning was the best I've ever had! Dr. Bender was awesome as usual! Very warm and welcoming office staff. Erin was great at explaining my insurance coverage to me. Best dental office around!

Linda is the Best Hygienist ever. She always goes above and beyond to make sure my teeth are thoroughly cleaned. Educating me and my children every step of the way on oral hygiene we can practice at home. She gets rid of any anxiety my kids ever had about the dentist.

The one star is for Andrea. She is awesome. Two weeks ago, I called to inquire about a bill and was rudely treated by Tammy A, on two different phone conversations. I sent an email to Dr. Bender, no reply from him. I stopped in the office to pay the disputed charge today. He was sorry about the situation and he said he was investigating. Tammy A. did not represent the Doctor or office well. Sorry to say, I will not go back. The one star is for Andrea. She is awesome. Caution..always review and store your billings & insurance statements. The billing staff not very knowledgeable or friendly. Two stars are for Dr. Bender.

Dr. Bender is the best around - efficient and gentle. Andrea and Linda are my favorite hygienist - always chatty and do great work cleaning my teeth. Very cognizant of patient experience and comfort.

Dr Bender is a really good dentist, it's too bad he doesn't have the the right people at the front of the business to deal with the patients. The female he has working the front desk is rude, self serving and frustrated. She needs to learn how to do her job. C'mon Doc , when will you see this? I would never go back

I've been to a lot of dentists in my lifetime and he is by far the best! The office is well run and the staff is friendly. He is on time, works quickly and does a phenomenal job!! He is my dentist for life!

Very disappointed. I have been going to Dr. Bender for many years, and I kept going even when I moved to Troy. Living and Troy and going all the way to Grosse Pointe is challenging, but I kept going because I like Dr. Bender. However, I called at 9:00 a.m. asking to reschedule a 7:00 p.m. appointment because of work related reasons, and getting across town in time was not feasible. I was told that I would be charged $50 for not giving 24 hr notice. While I understand the policy, there should be more understanding of patients and working moms who sometimes need to reschedule last minute. Sadly will be looking for a dentist near by. I’m struggling so hard with this...I’ve been going to this office for nearly 30 years...first off dr bender and Janice are phenomenal they are NOT the issue which I why I gave a 2 star instead of the 1 star! If you can get past the absolute worst front desk then you will love this place. About 2 or 3 years ago they had a staff change and have yet to get their stuff together! They billed me for services because they claimed not to take the insurance I had...I tried to pay out of pocket...for over 2 years I tried to pay my bill...they would send a bill I would refute because I had a different type of insurance that they DID accept for that appointment at the time of the appointment but then switched then billed me...finally it was taken care of randomly, the bill went from over 1k to about $200 or so...I got the bill, called to pay it IN FULL and they told me it was sent to collections and I couldn’t pay it (even though they had JUST billed me) then 6 months later I got the same bill again! I continued to pay out of pocket for cleanings because my kids deserve the best dental care and I believe dr bender is it! Then right before my kids check ups I got a letter saying I could switch their insurance and I called to confirm this new insurance would be accepted and was told yes so I switched! I even pushed my kids cleaning until after the new insurance went into effect. No issues. Then I call to confirm their latest check up and I’m told they don’t accept this new insurance and have always accepted the previous insurance I used to have, the one I was paying out of pocket with! I’m so frustrated and I just cannot deal with this incompetence any longer (my family has all had very similar experiences) I’m struggling so hard with this...I’ve been going to this office for nearly 30 years...first off dr bender and Janice are phenomenal they are NOT the issue which I why I gave a 2 star instead of the 1 star! Office is well run. Hygienists are hit or miss. Depending on who you get. Receptionists and office girls are nice. Dr Bender is cordial and quick.

I like Dr. Bender a lot! I find him to be very personable and friendly. Great staff. Kelly and Mary are awesome. Mary gives the best cleanings and is a sweetheart. Dr Bender knows his stuff and really listens. I don't foresee myself going anywhere. I only give 4 starts because they recently had some hiccups with the receptionist/insurance specialist leaving but they are working on it and have a new girl coming soon. I like Dr. Bender a lot! My new neighbor told me she needs to find a dentist, so I gave her your information!

What a fantastic experience I had! I was having tooth pain and they got me in right away to take care of it.

This was my daughter's first dental visit in this office...they were amazing with her...she didn't shed one tear and she asked if she could come back...this made me so happy as her previously dental experience was horrific..kudos this office for being patient and kind with my daughter.

Such a clean and lovely place. The staff are the nicest people and Dr. Bender is the coolest guy. They do a great job whenever I go.

I have been going to Doctor Bender for about a year now and every time that I go in, he does a great job. I chipped a tooth a few weeks ago, I went in thinking I'd have to have a filling or something. I walked in 10 minutes before my appointment, and they sat me down about two minutes later. He said that I didn't expose any nerves or anything, so he ground it down and sent me on my way. I walked out 2 minutes before my appointment was supposed to start. The assistants are also very good. From the front desk to the dental assistant, they're all friendly and smiling and make the experience a good one. excellent service even when I needed emergency help

They manage to make me feel like I'm getting pampered at a spa when I'm really gettin drilled in the chair.

Dr. Bender's office is great! Very professional, very knowlegable, run on time, couldn't ask for much better! Janice was a great hygienist!

Terribly scared of Dentists. He was referred to me by a friend years ago, and I haven't looked back since!! Great Dentist, wonderful staff, and Secretary!
