I have not had surgery, but in an office visit, Dr Nottage spent time with me and answered all my questions. I have never had that happen with any orthopedist before (and I have seen a number of them!). He was knowledgeable and kind and really helped me to understand what my options are. He is a rare doctor, especially for a surgeon!
